Very good very clean could do with shelf inside shower and a five foot bed would be nice just we hit the wrong days it poured of rain but had a nice time

We had a lovely stay at stable cottage and done to a very high standard all credit to the owners well done

I booked it for the wood burner and it said not in use and bed was very small lovely place but if it was on the details would have not have gone to stable cottage if I had now this we come home two days before are time as was upset about no being able to light it at it was cold at night that wood have been lovely so details was not true no reson why we can not youse it never going back very upset

We had a great stay at the cottage and loved sitting outside on the patio watching the sheep. It really was a great place to stay situated on a quiet country lane but close to a main road to get about places and visit the area. We would have scored it 5 stars, however the owners showed up unannounced on Sunday afternoon knocking at the door when my partner was resting and having a nap, and it was for no particular reason. They were very nice but did not read the signals from us that we did not want interaction and just wanted privacy/peace. The owners then came back the next day and from 9.30am to 2pm we’re doing works on the property. Non urgent works by building an extension for a laundry room. This spoilt our last day as we went out for as long as we could to avoid them, but actually just wanted to sit having coffee/reading outside, but felt too awkward with them cutting/ sawing etc and trying to make small talk with us. I don’t like rating them down as they were nice but they need to think about not all guests want this interaction as we come from busy city lives and just wanted to be alone and definitely didn’t expect them to be spending half the day there working on the property when guests were staying.
