Lovely comfortable cottage with good fixtures and fittings. Lots of individual and quirky touches. Owners very welcoming and solicitous. Good location for the town centre and river walks. We really enjoyed our stay in this part of Suffolk.

Wonderful hosts and super comfortable accommodation at the annexe, Beccles town centre is on the doorstep with great shopping and restaurants. Countryside is all close by walks along the river and the broads a short drive away.

Icing on the cake for our lovely stay here was the warmth of the welcome from Chris and Sue; sincerest we’ve ever had. So kind, helpful and friendly.Perfect for two, the delightful, quirky property was spotless and well appointed, every need had been thoughtfully anticipated. We found it both charming and full of character.Bedroom and bathroom a particular pleasure-Fantastic bath/shower.Took our own Firestick and enjoyed cosy evenings in after riverside strolls.A minor issue was swiftly acknowledged and sorted out quickly with positivity. We felt truly valued as guests and would return here like a shot. A true gem which we’ll remember fondly. Loved it. Thanks Chris and Sue for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Loved this little cottage. Full of character and charm. Warm, cosy and comfortable. The walk-in wardrobe with tea/coffee making was a real treat. Owners Sue & Chris so welcoming and helpful and went over and above giving me a lift to a local wedding as it was raining! And posting on something I left behind. Beccles is a nice old market town and everything was within a few minutes walk. I would love to stay again!

The Old Bakery Annex is a lovely little cottage ideally located for all of the amenities in Beccles.Sue and Chris are very friendly and welcoming hosts.The cottage is spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed.

We loved our stay at Northgate Bakery Annex. It is located close to Beccles town centre - five minutes walk away -and equally close to the town quay on the river Waveney. The Annex is beautifully decorated and equipped throughout and we felt completely at home from the outset. Many thanks to hosts Chris and Sue.

We spent a few days at Northgate, Sue and Chris were very welcoming owners, and the cottage is very comfortable for a short stay. Beccles is a good base for exploring Norfolk and the town itself has all the amenities that you are likely to need. Overall a nice break in a nice location with friendly and helpful owners.
