Well where do I start. We booked up to go to meadows end lodges in march. However due to all of the snow we were unable to travel. I was so upset that I would lose our holiday. But it turned out that the lodge itself had frozen due to the weather. The staff were brilliant and offered to change our holiday to a later date. We landed 4 weeks after to beautiful well kept grounds. The lodge itself (lambs lodge) was very impressive, small but cozy. Warm and inviting and immaculate. We got a visit from the warden who looked after the site, he asked us if everything was ok and if there was anything we needed we just had to ask. He was a lovely guy. The lodge was very cosy and had all of the necessities we needed. Even tea and coffee. The hot tub was all ready to jump in. There were clear notices of how to work equipment etc. It was the perfect getaway and we really enjoyed the relaxation and tranquillity. Cartmel itself is a beautiful little village. With nice walks and good pubs!! would we return? we sure would! without a doubt. It was perfect. Thank you for a comfortable and relaxing gettaway.
Lisa from Sunderland (16 April 2018)

Park was beautiful and well maintained.
Tracy from Barnoldswick (16 April 2018)

Fantastic lodge, lovely location. Would recommend and we plan to return very soon.
David from Wigan (09 April 2018)

Took my girlfriend on our first mini break togwther, it was absolutely amazing, we were met by helen one of the people who run the lodges, very friendly and helpful. The lodge itself was perfect had everything you would need and it was ao comfortable to live in for the weekend!
Jarred (09 April 2018)

A fantastic break in a quiet setting. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.
Jessica (06 April 2018)

Would totally recommend staying here, couldn’t fault a thing, it was so good we’re looking at booking again for later in the year.
Peter from Peterborough (06 April 2018)

Very pleasant staff even though we weren't expected as details hadn't been sent through. Clean and tidy and very comfortable.
Martin from Barnsley (30 March 2018)

Was so clean and tidy with great facilities would recommend this lodge or any on site.
Jasmin (30 March 2018)

Great location and the perfect lodge for a getaway. Only stayed for 3 night but would gladly stay longer
Paul (26 March 2018)

Fabulous place would love to go back.
Customer 10 from Macclesfield (26 March 2018)

Peaceful, tranquil site close to cartmel. Nothing on site so lovely for relaxing in the hot tub and cartmel is close enough for facilities. It’s near enough to walk but down a country lane so better to drive if dark. Lodge was warm, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Sticky toffee pudding and milk in the fridge was a lovely touch.
Customer 11 from Leeds (23 March 2018)

We had a fantastic stay at ewe lodge, kevin was friendly and welcoming. Great hot tub and wood burner.
Laura (23 March 2018)

Nice quiet site in lovely location. Really helpfully staff, exceptionally clean and well maintained lodge and site. We will be returning.
Phil from Liverpool (23 March 2018)

Just perfect very homely would be good if there a ice tray in freezer for
Sonia from Redditch (19 March 2018)

The lodge we chose, shaun lodge, was the perfect setting for a little weekend break for some r&r. The layout of the lodges is very clever to provide complete privacy whilst out in he hot tubs from your neighbours. I really recommend these lodges, the location for good walks, cycle trails, wine bars, restaurants and pubs is brilliant - although you need a torch to walk back at night.
Elizabeth from Manchester (19 March 2018)

A lovely quiet location and the cabin was well equipped with everything you needed for your stay .
Matthew (16 March 2018)

A fabulous place, so tranquil and relaxing. We will definitely return here
Louise from Stoke-On-Trent (16 March 2018)

Amazing place to stay, they have thought of everything! lovely sticky toffee pudding gesture waiting in fridge too. Lovely surroundings, staff very helpful and accommodating. In cartmel lovely pubs excellent food. Not one negative to be said about this place. Loved it.
Donna from Fleet (09 March 2018)

Absolutely fabulous time! can’t fault it
Nicki from Stoke On Trent (05 March 2018)

We had a lovely time at meadow end. The lodges are lovely with everything you need. The onsite staff were very helpful when needed. We were unlucky to be there when the beast of the east hit so we didnt have running water or heating for 3 days but that was no ones fault. Apart from that a great location to explore the lakes
Jolene (02 March 2018)

Spent 4 nights in vendeen lodge for my 22nd birthday, absolutely gorgeous lodge, beautiful surroundings and a fantastic team to run the place! thank you kevin and stewart for making our little holiday perfect!
Emily from Worksop (02 March 2018)

Had a great time, lodge was clean and staff helpful . the kitchen utensils could do with an update ie blunt knifes but other than that perfect!
Mark from Higham Ferrers (26 February 2018)

Lodge was clean but basic. Bed mattress too firm. Log fire was great as was hot tub. Deer walked right past back of lodge one morning. Nothing on the site so car essential . could walk or cycle to cartmel in the summer bit too cold for us in february. Some lovely walks nearby including gummers how and humphreys head. Short break with dog same dog fee as a week break so a bit expensive
Lisa from Baschurch (26 February 2018)

Lovely stay in great lodge. Area beautiful and not far to the lakes. Caramel village a nice short walk away too
Amanda from London (26 February 2018)

Had a fabulous time at meadows end lodges couldn't have asked for a better place to stay very clean and friendly
Elizabeth from Ayrshire Scotland (23 February 2018)

Great week and great location perfect
Adrian from Stockport (23 February 2018)

This is our 2nd time at this lodge and we love it. Very relaxing, great location and very friendly, welcoming owners.
Sally from Leeds (19 February 2018)

Super place , lovely log cabin . met kevin nice chap . lodge is clean and lovely . we went to windermere and coniston . we walked to the village 10 minutes , small village with nice pubs. We went and eat in the kings and it was freindly and good food. Many thanks
Leah from Keighley (19 February 2018)

We absolutely loved it and will be booking to go back again next year!
Tammy (19 February 2018)

Lovely lodge, great facilities and friendly staff.
Amie from Liverpool (18 February 2018)

Excellent help from the staff. Cosy lodge with great log burning fire.
Christopher (16 February 2018)

We have been to this site before and found it to be in a gorgeous area. We like that it is small and quiet. We have stayed here before and would again however the cabin we had during our last stay was nicer. This time it felt a little tired in places, the bathroom particularly which was disappointing as we "upgraded" cabins from the one last year.
Clare (12 February 2018)

Beautiful lodge in a beautiful area. Can’t wait to go back
Frances (12 February 2018)

Amazing!
Bethany (11 February 2018)

Perfect lodge, great location. . . will be returing for a 3rd time.
Scott (09 February 2018)

Perfect for a relaxing couples get away. Had some beautiful meals in the near by villages would def go back
Amy from Rotherham (05 February 2018)

Really enjoyed the holiday, the hot tub was the best added touch. Location was fab but very dark walk at night would recommend a torch or a taxi. We received the holiday at a fab price although other seasons seem a lot more expensive. Was surprised how much wasn’t provided when we was there and even a sticky toffee pudding.
Emma from Manchester (05 February 2018)

Brilliant
Emily from Wakefield (02 February 2018)

Amazing stay in texel lodge beautifully done out and the hot tub was really amazing. Kevin couldn’t do enough for us so helpful with everything. Quiet location and relaxing weekend would definitely return in the future.
Chelsea from West Midlands (29 January 2018)

Fantastic break!!
Jane from Wolverhampton (29 January 2018)

We went mid january so although the weather wasn't great, we still managed to get out and about. the village of cartmel is lovely and the walks to surrounding areas very picturesque (even with snow/rain!). . the lodges themselves are well equipped with everything you need. they're warm and cosy, especially in winter if you get the log fire going. . . staff were great - greeted on arrival so any questions we had could be quickly answered and we ordered some logs which got delivered to our door on arrival too! . . all in all a great little holiday/break in a beautiful lodge, with fab surroundings.
Lynsey from Leeds (22 January 2018)

Upon arrival we were greeted by kevin who was extremely helpful right from the start with recommendations of dog walking routes, places to go and things to do during our short stay. We stayed in ryeland lodge which is dog friendly and even had a hose pipe at the back next to the jacuzzi to wash down our muddy dog. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed, less than a mile walk into cartmel and walking distance to one of the local shops to fulfil our bacon supply needs. We even tried to book an extra night but unfortunaley it was fully booked which was a shame but completely understandable. Overall a very relaxing holiday in a lovely resort. The only minor recommended improvement was that the jacuzzi didn’t have a roof canopy which was quite annoying in the middle of a hail storm. Adam & hannah
Adam from Tottington (19 January 2018)

We stayed at romney lodge for 4 nights. The warden was very helpful and friendly on arrival and said if there was anything we needed, just ring him. The lodge was fine overall. The kitchen was well equipped, the heating was brilliant, the bathroom was a little tired and could maybe be spruced up a little. The bedroom was fine. The circular mat beside the sofa could have done with a shampoo. The hot tub was spot on and the grounds were well kept and attractive.
Cheryl from Northumberland (19 January 2018)

Due to illness we had to return early but everything was a very good standard
Stephen from Wakefield (12 January 2018)

The place and cottage was nice , when we arrived it was extremely cold and no heating was on, the lady said the heating engineer must have turned it off and apologised but also said it normally comes on at 4, we book in at 4 so the heating needed to be in much earlier
Karen from Stockport (12 January 2018)

Beautiful surrounds, lodge perfect. Will go again
Gillian from Darlington Co. Durham (12 January 2018)

Wonderful place to tour lakes and village of cartmel beautiful plenty of pubs for excellent food and picturesque. Accommodation excellent well looked after and everything we needed.
Ian (08 January 2018)

We went to meadows end lodge for new year 2016 too and absolutely loved it, hence our new year visit in 2017. The lodge is getting somewhat dated. The shower room was very foisty smelling and the grout on the tiles on the floor were all very black. They needed a good bleach & scrub. The utensils are very minimal - literally enough for 2 people, which is fair enough, there are only 2 of us, but you are for ever washing glasses and cutlery. The whole lodge needs a good spruce up. The rug in the living room was dirty in 2016 & has not been replaced or cleaned so was filthy. . the lodge itself is absolutely perfect for 2 people and the location for cartmel village is brilliant. We would love to book for next year, but feel it wont have had the attention required therefore we will not be.
Joanne (03 January 2018)

Our lodge was beautiful and clean. The staff were helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
Alison from Blackpool (03 January 2018)

Had a great stay at meadows end lodge. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and was really well equipped with everything you could need. Great surroundings and a easy walk into the village. The hot tub and log burner were great.
Christine from Liverpool (18 December 2017)

Excellent really enjoyed it and will definitely be going back if possible
Daniel (18 December 2017)

The lodge and it’s surroundings were perfect. The lodge was well equipped and had everything we needed. It was lovely and warm and cosy and we didn’t really need to light the log burner but we did because it added to the ambience. The hot tub was superb and had plenty of use despite the cold weather ! cartmel is a short walk along the road and well worth it for the famous puddings and great range of tea rooms and places to eat. Would definitely recommend
Julie from Wirral (18 December 2017)

Had to turn on all the radiators in the lodge when arrived as they where off, lodge was really cold but soon warmed up when radiators where turned on.
Andrew from Birkenhead (18 December 2017)

Great lodge but very uncomfortable and squeaky bed which spoilt it because we didn’t really sleep all week!
Judith from Burnley (15 December 2017)

Wonderful lodges with hot tub. Very clean and really helpful staff
Rosina from North Yorkshire (11 December 2017)

We absolutely loved this cabin. The place was spotless and the caretaker showed us how things work. The hot tub was amazing, we’d definitely stay again.
Karis from Manchester (11 December 2017)

Had an amazing break didn’t want it to end. Amazing location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return.
Helen from Redcar (11 December 2017)

Fabulous lodge lovely little town few seconds drive and some lovely places to visit.
Kelly (08 December 2017)

Lovely place! hot tub was fab
Leigh-Anne (08 December 2017)

Lovely place, I did have a concern about the window blind cords, I don't think they meet safety regulations for children as they are hanging loose and could be dangerous.
Linsey from Bolton (04 December 2017)

The lodge was lovely& I will definitely be going back, looks just like the photos online. The hot tub was amazing and the log fire was a nice little touch to it made it lovely and cosy.
Katisha from Bradford (04 December 2017)

Did not see any staff but would definitely go again
David (04 December 2017)

We had a lovely break. We didn’t receive our welcome text with the code to the door to retrieve our key however a gentlemen on the site opened it for us. We did arrive slightly early about 30 mins and was told we weren’t allowed to enter the site and had to come back at 4 which was slightly annoying as 4pm was a late check in and we’d travelled quite a way. Other than that the accommodation was lovely. We didn’t mange to fine the thermostat for the heating though.
Hannah from Warrington (04 December 2017)

Perfect location lovely village choice of great pubs with nice atmosphere village shop home of sticky toffee pudding a must take some double cream because the complimentary one in the fridge is just the beginning of pudding heaven lol 5 mins in car hot tub great fun
Doreen from Hull (04 December 2017)

Fantastic had a great time can not wait to go again x
Michelle from Thornton-Cleverleys (01 December 2017)

Loved it
Kayleigh from Greenock (20 November 2017)

Great holiday. Lovely lodge, decor stunning. All clean. The hot tube was lovely and hot. Beautiful setting. Ended up getting engaged there too!!! would love to return one day
Rebecca from Swansea (20 November 2017)

Wonderful lodge which was immaculate and felt homely. Bathroom was fab and hot tub was wonderful except it had a faulty thermostat so only worked for 3 cycles then stopped for a while. Warden on site was brilliant and gave us a bottle of prosecco for the inconvenience.
Suzanne from Sleaford (13 November 2017)

Fabulous weekend break. lodge was in excellent condition and well provided for. Very private hot tub was great. Log burner was really nice. It was easy to walk into cartmel. as soon as we got home we started looking at prices to re-book next year - enough said
Peter from Bolton (13 November 2017)

Regularly stay here, love the site, location and friendly welcome
Carol from St Helens (13 November 2017)

We were in need of some peace and relaxation. Found it here. Lodge was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was perfect for warning up after walking on cold november days. Lodge was just a ten minute walk into cartmal which has a few pubs serving good food, coffee shops and even a cheese shop
Ruth (10 November 2017)

We had the best time!
Sophie (10 November 2017)

Had a great week
Andrew (10 November 2017)

We stayed in romney lodge for 3 nights over the bonfire weekend. The lodge was absolutely perfect, spotlessly clean on arrival with all necessities provided, even ice, milk and sticky toffee pudding! the furniture was real quality, the bed was comfortable and the hot tub was amazing, especially after a long day walking through the hills. Cartmel is beautiful, the locals are extremely friendly and the village is so picturesque, make sure you see the the church! windermere is just half an hours drive away but with all the scenery to look at on the way it feels like five minutes. We already cannot wait to come back next year! this is such a beautiful part of the country and being a young couple in our 20s from birmingham, it really gives you that bit of pride in england again. Only slight down side is the sofa isn’t very comfy but you don’t go away to the lake district to sit on the sofa. All in all 10/10
Daniel from Birmingham (06 November 2017)

Lovely lodge in a great location. Very peaceful area. Would stay again
Gayle from Liverpool (03 November 2017)

Fabulous location. The hot tub was a definite highlight. although we were very pleased overall.felt that we paid a lot for 1 week. Was this because it was half term?
Jane from Leyland (03 November 2017)

Fab lodge. fully equipped and spotless. hot tub amazing. couldn't fault this lodge
Lynsey from Glasgow (03 November 2017)

We had a fantastic week in shaun lodge and will definitely be returning. The booking process was easy and staff were very helpful. Positives: jacuzzi (amazing!) , well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, log burning stove and central location near lots of walks in the lakes. Only 2 negatives: the walk into town is a bit dangerous in the dark, but if you've got a torch it's fine. Also, the wall between us and the other lodge was rather thin and we were able to hear another couple's nighttime adventures! . . all in all it was a great break and I would highly recommend it.
Francesca from Lymm (03 November 2017)

Me and my boyfriend had a amazing stay in the beginning of november. Couldn't fault the lodge and the staff. I would definitely return and recommend.
Ami from Durham (03 November 2017)

Our holiday at meadowsend lodge was fantastic. The staff were super helpful and there is a warden on call 24/7 just in case. Kevin (our warden) helped us with the log burner until we finally managed to master lighting and maintaining it! the hot tub was lovely and ready for use on arrival. The hot tub could have done with a midweek maitenence check as it did go down in depth, however we didn’t mention this and I am sure if we had it would have been sorted! all of the fixtures and fittings in the lodge were perfect. The mattress on the bed was quite hard which I didn’t like but I brought my own bedding and put the duvet provided down as an extra topper. . they provide tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a sticky toffee pudding on arrival which is a lovely touch. the surrounding area is amazing and there is so much to see and do. I was 7 months pregnant during our trip and even though we couldn’t hike as much as we would have liked there was still plenty of activities to do and places to go and explore. I would recommend the buddhist center as they do amazing food and it’s calm and peaceful there. Also the cartmel sticky toffee pudding shop is fantastic (make sure you visit the cafe upstairs). cartmel is a bit of a foodie haven, the village is practically owned by a famous tv chef. He owns his two michellan star restaurant there as well as a two rosette restaurant and randomly owns a shop selling items from the restaurant. As I was pregnant this time we decided not to visit l’enclume and try rogan (rosette resurant). it wasn’t up to the same standard as london rosette dining but was still good and not too expensive. There is also a micro brewery, cheese shop and rather posh delicatessen in cartmel. The pub food in the village is also outstanding so definitely not hard to find somewhere fantastic to eat. . whilst we were there my partner had a throat infection and we were advised to visit the nearest pharmacy in grange over sands. The care here was outstanding and he was advised to see one of their doctors (appointment the same day) and prescribed antibiotics. I would not worry about going there with children as the medical care service is absolutely great. . all in all probably the best all round holiday location in the country with something for everyone. Meadowsend is the ideal place to stay as a relaxing quiet retreat with all the comforts of home. Great holiday and will be returning!
Hannah from East Molesey (30 October 2017)

Loved it, brilliant lodge . lovely area. Perfect for getting away
Dave from Warrington (30 October 2017)

Really nice lodge in wonderful & peaceful surroundings.
Darren from Preston, Lancs (30 October 2017)

Nice lodge lovely log burner. Staff very helpful.
Grant from Galashiels (27 October 2017)

Had a lovely peaceful time. The lodge was very clean and comfortable and the tub was brilliant. We had everything we needed. I would say that the decking was really slippery. I would like to take my parents but the decking is hazardous.
Gill from Manchester (27 October 2017)

Would have been made better if the hot tub had worked. The onsite groundsman helped as much as he could to rectify the situation but to no avail. . having been at the site before we would return.
Stuart (27 October 2017)

So chilled came home really relaxed. Would come again and recommend to friends and family.
Carolynn from Rosyth (20 October 2017)

Stayed at the boreray lodge and it was amazing an amazing get away. Very peaceful and relaxing. Hot tub was perfect and the log burner was a great addition.
James from Seaham (20 October 2017)

Loved the holiday. Beautiful peaceful place. . only downside was tv was a real struggle to use and had to re-start it multiple times with hardly any stations. . a proper manual would have been good. . also no phone signal so couldn't call site guy to help us out. . . other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (16 October 2017)

Stephanie from Liverpool (06 October 2017)

Lovely lodge, very clean and had everything we needed for a nice stay.
Gerald from Kettering (06 October 2017)

Fantastic lodge. Excellent and quality appliances and equipment. Wonderful log burning fire and hot tub. Staff friendly and helpful. Quiet location. Excellent for a quiet break but also not far from cartmel which as a few excellent pubs and shops. The cheese shop was wonderful . didn't want to leave
Lisa from Wirral (06 October 2017)

The lodge facilities where first class. Spotless great layout. Lovely bed, log burner added to the relaxed evenings and the hot tub was always at the correct temperature. We stayed there to explore the lakes and we did, but what a bonus cartmel was never been there before it’s a pure gem. Thank you.
Karl from Bromsgrove (06 October 2017)

Great break away loved the lodge and hot tub
Ivor from Darlington (02 October 2017)

Excellent quality with every detail thought of. A most beautiful place which made our weekend just perfect. Highly recommended.
Jennie from Nottinghamshire (02 October 2017)

Stayed with friends and had a lovely relaxing weekend , lodge was fab and cartmel was only a 10 minute walk with a few pubs and shops, loved the larch tree shop and unsworths yard
Heather (02 October 2017)

Everything was clean tidy and quiet
David from Merseyside (29 September 2017)

Stayed at hedrick. Gorgeous lodge and so close to everything. Think it is a little over priced but assume it’s due to its popularity.
Julie from Manchester (29 September 2017)

Clean lodge, lovely location, lots to see and do.
Vicki from Keighley (29 September 2017)

Simply delightful and very relaxing
Martin from Plymouth (25 September 2017)

Had a great time only concern is the price . I had a cheaper time going totenerife for four days so it would be better if your price was more competitive , I would maybe take the sun . only something you maybe consider
David from Glasgow (18 September 2017)

A lovely quiet location, close to cartmel. would love to return when there is a horse race meeting.
Janet from Leicester (15 September 2017)

Very good
Carl from Manchester (15 September 2017)

Great lodge, everything you need even a booklet with nearby things to do, hot tub brilliant especially at night time 10/10
Leah from Derby (11 September 2017)

Was nice just needs a freshen up in the cabin we stayed in and the gas hob needs service so we were unable to use the large hob
Matthew (11 September 2017)

Second visit to these cabins and agin a very modern a glean cabin with all you need for a break hot tub brilliant
David from Burton On Trent (08 September 2017)

The lodge with its log burner, reclining sofas and hot tub was the perfect cosy base from which to escape the less than perfect british weather. The park is very small with no additional facilities and we needed to drive to drive to take the dog for a walk, but the lodges are well spaced out and it's nicely landscaped. you need flip flops for the hot tub as they are set on stone chips. The staff are extremely welcoming and the maintenance issue that we had was dealt with within minutes despite being during the evening and requiring a plumber. it was spotlessly clean. it's a great base for exploring the south lakelands, a 10 minute drive from grange over sands on the morecombe bay and a 10 minute walk down the lane from cartmell and less than 30 mins to windermere.
Lynda (08 September 2017)

Had an amazing holiday. Received a warm welcome on arrival, the place i'd idyllic
Lisa from Lockerbie (08 September 2017)

Fabulous lodge. Had everything we could need. Hot tub was fantastic.
Denise from Newcastle Upon Tyne (04 September 2017)

Lovely clean lodge with everything that you need, parking space was pretty small.
Caroline from Port Glasgow (01 September 2017)

Really enjoyed stay and staff very friendly and helpful kevin the site manager was very helpful
Mark from Ilkley (30 August 2017)

Very clean and friendly staff would recommend this lodge
Gillian from Seaham (28 August 2017)

Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting.
Marie from Bishop Auckland (25 August 2017)

A lovely, relaxing holiday in a quiet location with everything we needed available in the lodge. Perfect location for exploring the lakes.
Stacey from Scunthorpe (25 August 2017)

A lovely quiet location, ideally situated to visit many of the pretty towns. Walking and mountains all close by
Samantha from Seaton, Devon (21 August 2017)

Quiet relaxing base to tour lake district
Alan from Aylesbury (14 August 2017)

The lodge and location were great and the hot tub lovely the only thing to be improved would be an earlier check in.
Andrea from Lincolnshire (11 August 2017)

Lovely lodge, clean and had everything you needed. Kevin was extremely helpful. . only downfall is it was a little drive away from nearest shop.
Kelly from Durham (11 August 2017)

Absolutely fabulous lodge and location. Enjoyed the hot tub and the local village is a delight. Can't wait to stay again next year!
Shirley from London (11 August 2017)

Second time we have bin there love it!!
Glyn from Wallasey (07 August 2017)

Loved it - would prefer the hot tub a little more private but that's being picky
Rachel from Leeds (04 August 2017)

Very relaxing, private, home from home. Definitely visit again!
Emily from Kent (31 July 2017)

Perfect relaxing break, brilliant and clean facilities. Good communication and information in the room.
Natalie from Oxfordshire (28 July 2017)

Fantastic location, superb lodge and a relaxing break.
Andy from Warrington (28 July 2017)

Nice lodge, very spacious, lacked in some storage in bathrooms etc, higher up shelfs that children can't reach! well equipped kitchen, again all low level, really near cartmel which is a great little village. found toiletries and welcome items pretty basic for price too!
Marianne from Edinburgh (21 July 2017)

Beautiful lodge bed location with staff who really knew the area. Could hear the people in the lodge next door as walls thin however the site had tried to minimise this as much as possible. . . lovely welcome gift of the famous cartmel sticky toffee pudding and milk to have that first cuppa after a long drive.
Amy from York (17 July 2017)

We came here because we went to griffin forest. Was expecting this to be roughly the same. The property was nice and clean. But we didn't realise we backed on to very noisy neighbours. The roads down to the property were very narrow, with cars speeding along. We wouldn't visit again for that reason.
Stephen from Shrewsbury (17 July 2017)

Had a fantastic week away at the ryelandlodge . the only thing I would change is the check in time to a little earlier and the stones around the hot tub to something softer under foot.
Becky from Derby (14 July 2017)

We really enjoyed the break with the hot tub and secluded position of it. We had been before to a different lodge. Liked being detached. Everything we needed was there. Great job.
Elissa from East Kilbride (10 July 2017)

Beautiful well equipped holiday lodge, hot tub was great. Quiet location. Lovely places to visit close by.
Avril (07 July 2017)

Amazing place. First me and my wife (our honeymoon) had stayed somewhere like this and loved it. The cabin, location were excellent and the hot tub was a big plus.
Antony from Hull (07 July 2017)

Excellent lodge and site ideal location for visits to cartmel.
Mark from Kettering (03 July 2017)

Lovely accommodation with lovely soft furnishings. Hot tub was very private and enjoyable. . peaceful location.
Diane from Manchester (03 July 2017)

Nice place clean peaceful could have a bigger bed and seating in living area was small
Barrie from Workington (03 July 2017)

The scenery is beautiful . we had a great holiday
Carol from Fareham (30 June 2017)

We loved herdwick lodge and will be booking again for early next year! the place was immaculate and I loved the fact that when we got there, the owners had put milk and sticky toffee pudding in the fridge; it's the little touches! the weather wasn't great when we were there but we didn't care as the lodge was so nice.
Michelle from Newcastle Upon Tyne (30 June 2017)

Brilliant lodge ,very central ,love the hot tub
Elizabeth from Newcastle (26 June 2017)

Had a great holiday here. Would love to come back. However the only reason we wouldn't return is due to the bed being ama and uncomftable. But that is the only!! downside to the place it is beautiful.
Rachel from Desborough (16 June 2017)

Lodge was clean and very comfortable. . personal welcome from the owner was appreciated. Excellent location for visiting attractions of the south lakes and with the m6 nearby further afield too.
Robin from Manchester (16 June 2017)

Lodge is great lovely and private tvs in bedrooms would be a bonus will definitely be back thanks to kevin for help and advice
David&Amp;Grace from Airdrie (16 June 2017)
