Highly recommend. The location is beautiful, quiet, perfect. Our cabin was impeccably clean and we felt like we were the first people in a brand new lodge! Waiting to see availability to book again for next year.

Absolutely brill week. Hot tub was fab, lodge was clean and well presented. Only thing was the door was sticky and was hard to open at times. Other than that, well worth the money and a good driving distance to York!

Superbly equipped lodge. Clean, tidy and wonderful rural location. Easy reach of York and surrounding attractions. Hot tub a real bonus for relaxing after the youngsters have settled for the night. Lovely welcome from Melanie on arrival.

Lovley location, some cofusion obtaining the keys, but no big deal. Ideal location for exploring the area, 20 mins from Askham park and ride to York,(highly recommend), and a trip to Whitby is a must. All in all a great week away.

The Lodge was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Everything worked and there was a pint of milk and some tea bags etc. I couldn't really fault it. Location was perfect for what we wanted to do and if you want to visit York it's a better option than most. 15 minutes to the Askham P&R. We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Had a fantastic long weekend in Hawthorn Lodge! Directions from property were perfect! Girl that checked us in was more than happy to help! Lodges are in a perfect peaceful location! They were clean, comfortable and had everything you need for your stay! Would definitely stay again

Loved our stay here. Easy access. We were met outside on our arrival and gotntold everything we needed to know. Lovely wee village with a great local pub. Hot tub was a perfect temperature and very clean. The entire lodge was clean and nicely decorated. The farm was really quiet and a great base. Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, hob, kettle, toaster, glasses, cutlery, plastic cups for taking a drink into hot tub, bbq. There was some dishwasher tablets left over from previous lodgers which made things easy. 15 minute drive to a park and ride for York which is where we spent most of our time. Don't have anything bad to say about the place!

we have used these lodges twice now and love the lcation it's so peaceful, the lodge itself is lovely fitted out and spacious, we love the hot tub but think the decking area needs updating as it's looking a little worn.

Willow Lodge was ideal for a couple, clean and with everything you need. Lovely pub within 5 minutes. Lots to do in the area within driving distance.

Beautiful lodge in the perfect location. Ideal for couples or families with older children (like teenagers who prefer to rot in bed all day!). Local pub at the end of the driveway, literally, and a cute old phone box that has become a mini library for the village (we added our holiday reads to the collection upon leaving).

We just went for 4 days of chilling and we did that , hosts very friendly and helpful local pub the white swan great food Lodge had everything Hosts left little things very nice.

Nice peaceful location. Easy for travel to surrounding area. Eg York, Leeds. Accommodation clean and hot tub good and checked daily. A little more crockery would have been appreciated. The dishwasher could then have been used more efficiently. Pub close by but not visited on this occasion.

Firstly just want to say a massive thankyou to Rupert and Melanie for accommodating a change in arrival time for us. It really helped our weekend and they were very helpful so thankyou. The lodge was immaculate and had everything we needed. Thought it was very good value as we have stayed in ‘Luxury’ lodges before and to be fair this had all of the same amenities just a bit less ‘posh’ but still lovely and comfortable. In fact the beds were very very comfy! We brought our young teenage daughters and their 2 friends who had an amazing time. Hot tub was ready and was perfect for the whole weekend. We had Sunday lunch in she local pub which was delicious and would definitely recommend. Would definitely book again.

Girlie weekend away, facilities excellent, location really good, not too far from Wetherby or Tadcaster. There is one local pub 5 min walk away, locals welcoming, did a pub quiz on the Sunday night. We would stay here again, just what we all needed to recharge our batteries.

We loved our stay, greeted on arrival, very friendly and welcoming, lovely lodge, amazing hottub.Very pieceful if thats what you are after, we definitely was. I would 100% go back, 20 mins from York and Harrogate. Tadcaster 3 mins away.The local Pub had amazing food. Very good value and will dedefinatrly be going back.

On arrival there was a queue of cars the owner did not come out till bang on 4pm then started to work through details with each car which takes a little while it’s not the best welcome and could be done differently. There’s a electric fence close to the lodge and are warned about touching farming and deep water e.t.c this makes you feel as though you can’t have a wonder you need to stay on your lodge or verandah, which was perfectly nice clean and well a quipped. when going out drive off the premises. We enjoyed our stay had nice days out at the coast and York but be prepared to travel the local retail park was an abandoned derelict ghost town though was well signposted.

Feels a bit unwelcoming on arrival having to sit in the car until owner is ready, though she was prompt. Nothing for children except the hot tub. Out of bounds notices and no visitors makes it feel unwelcoming too. But lovely well equipped lodge in amazing location.Why not do something for the kids in one end of a barn and have a coffee machine too - would also be somewhere to wait until check in.

Beautiful area,the lodges were lovely and clean and everything we needed was provided. It was nice and quiet which is what we wanted. It was only a short drive from local shops,pubs and a nearby chip shop and the city of York was also only a short drive away. The staff / owner were extremely friendly and helpful.I would recommend Wighill lodges for anyone wanting a nice peaceful break and would definately stay there again.

Sycamore.Fabulous little place. Extremely clean and well maintained. Perfect location to go to places for the day out.Would fit a TV in the main bedroom though.Otherwise, perfect. We loved it.

Booked last minute as our last accommodation had to be cancelled due to the weather. We called to check availability and there was no problem at all. Met at the farm by Melanie who was very pleasant and chatty. Cabin was amazing and lovely quiet location. Only five cabins. Had one issue with the shower cubicle not draining which was sorted within half an hour of contacting Rupert. Also what a lovely gentleman to talk to very pleasant also. ud83dude0a everything needed in the kitchen and complimentary tea, coffee and milk to start us off. Oh and biscuits.Good base to go out and about to explore if you want or chill and do nothing and use the hot tub.Loved it that much booked again for later in the year

Really lovely place to be able to unwind and relax. Not far from York and Harrogate and a lovely scenic route to Whitby. Everything you need is in the lodge and it’s cozy and warm, hot tub is a bonus

This was our second visit to Wighill Manor lodges as we had enjoyed our first holiday so much. Lodges are clean and well equipped, very peaceful and good location for getting to York. We will definitely be returning.

This is the second visit here 6 years apart and it's as excellent as we remember.Lodge was spotless and had everything we needed. The location is beautiful and peaceful with only wildlife for company. Absolutely perfect hot tub break. We'll definitely be back.

Lovely warm clean peaceful lodge. If you want to relax this is the place. 5 lodges with privacy between them looking out to fields and wildlife. We stopped in Oak and the bathroom was huge. Had a walk to the local pub that was very welcoming. Had a drive to knaresborough which was lovely. Also to York, Wetherby etc and then came back and chilled in the hot tub. Only thing I would say is either it could do with 2 extra cups so while they are being washed in the dishwasher you can have another cuppa and a clock. It's got everything else. If you want a relaxing peaceful break this is the place to go.
