Stuart and Tracey were very friendly and helpful. The welcome box was really appreciated and produce in it lovely. The cottage was beautifully and thoughtful decorated. The information pack was very detailed and helpful. And who could forget the delightful Else who made all our days brighter. Mrs Lyons (August 2021)
We instantly felt at home, and loved the towns and villages of the cotswolds. Mr Bradley (May 2021)
Stuart was pretty adept in providing us with a ramp for our wheelchair (he even covered it with artificial grass) Well done Stuart. The welcome pack that Tracy left for us really lived up to it's name, we are now sold on Cotswold butter ! Even though we were curtailed by lockdown measures around the local area we were able to really enjoy visiting attractions such as Minster Lovall Hall, Cogg's Farm and Blenheim Place, and returning to the comfort of Groom's Cottage was a real bonus. Pete, Tracie & Brian from Ravenshead, Nottinghamshire Mrs Noad (May 2021)
Both owners were nice and friendly. Overall, we had relaxing short holiday, spoiled a little by weather only. Dr Suveizdis (April 2021)
We arrived after a difficult time (probably true for everyone in 2020). We booked on the day of arrival and Tracy had put up a Christmas tree and provided a welcome pack with a homemade fabulous loaf of bread, Cotswold butter, a selection of miniature jam/marmalade. Biscuits, milk. Absolutely extraordinary. The cottage is very warm and cosy, beds are comfortable and during Covid the attention to detail in everything means you feel very safe. Procedures are in place to keep cottage a safe environment. Everything was in working order and excellent decor - relaxing and peaceful. Best cottage ever. Thank you all the extra steps were much appreciated. Mrs Harris (December 2020)
Tracy was very welcoming and gave us some excellent tips on where to go. This was our first break since all the madness began and we weren't sure what to expect but there was no impact on our holiday whatsoever. The cottage was the best one we have stayed in as it was so well laid out and so very well equipped. Lots of 'how to' information too which has been lacking sometimes at other properties. Would very highly recommend Grooms Cottage to all! Mrs Owen (September 2020)
The welcome box was amazing. Tracy & Stuart were perfect hosts. The local pubs were lovely & would especially recommend the Horse & Radish. Mrs Dougan (August 2020)

Apart from that everything was perfect and Stuart and Tracy were most accommodating - even left us a small Cotswolds gift! They went above and beyond, would highly recommend. Mr Marriott (April 2019)
We'd definitely like to stay there again next time we're in the area. Mrs Cowley (March 2019)
Truly 5 star. Would not hesitate to return. Mrs Lewis (November 2018)

Everything we could have needed was available. The cottage was immaculate throughout and the beds and towels were very comfortable. Stuart & Tracy were very friendly. My daughter particularly enjoyed seeing the horses and hens. If we were to stay within the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to come back. - Stephen and Isobel,
A very luxurious cottage with everything you need. All the small touches are so thoughtful from the welcome basket to the cotton wool & tissues in the bathroom, even rubber gloves in the kitchen!\ The bathroom is like having your own personnel spa and we love the soft lighting - perfect.\ The whole cottage is very welcoming and we will be back.\ - Mr and Mrs Bennett,
The cottage is lovely with very comfortable beds! Very well equipped and very tastefully designed, furnished & decorated. \ Visited several pretty villages and had a very relaxing few days. Out r first visit to the Cotswolds and certainly not disappointed! Thank you for the welcome pack, a very nice thought!\ - Mr and Mrs Lednot,
The en-suite is like having your very own spa. - Mrs Bennett,
I stayed with my two children for a week and we were so impressed. Spotlessly clean and smelt wonderful! Beautiful ensuite to the upstairs bedroom and a lovely view of the horses and stables to wake to each morning. Tracy and Stuart made us feel so welcome and with all the luxuries of home this cottage is a must. Minster Lovell is a pretty little village and within great distance to all the attractions Oxford has to offer. We will most certainly be booking Grooms cottage again in the future. Thankyou Tracy and Stuart for a wonderful stay - Ms Howard,
Hosts were a lovely family and gave us a very warm welcome! Recommended! Customer 20
The contemporary design blended well with its country feel. We loved our stay. We also loved how close we were to all the key areas of interest. We really enjoyed our time at Grooms Cottage, thank you. Just a couple of points to note, it was so well equipped there wasn’t an empty cupboard for the food and snacks we brought, we had to leave them on the worktop and the WIFI codes need updating in the welcome pack because it still points you to BT05. Loved our welcome gifts too! Customer 21
The owners had got this cottage spotless for our arrival.Would love to stay in Grooms cottage again in future.Thankyou for a wonderful family holiday. Customer 22
It was everything it said on the box. Lovely views of the countryside. Very comfortable, clean and appreciated the goody box Customer 23
From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. The owners are lovely people and my grandchildren loved feeding apples and carrots to their two horses Archie and Red every day. I cannot find any fault with this lovely place and would highly recommend. Thank you...Kriegler and Bialas family Customer 24
Clean and lovely and warm. Our November break was cold with frost every morning but the place was toasty. Really convenient location, quiet but handy for Oxford and the rest of the Cotswolds. Burford is worth a visit and if you want a fabulous meal, try the Horse & Radish in Minster Lovell, what a treat that was. Customer 25
from shopping at Bicester village to exploring the cotsworlds this is the perfect cottage for all aspects of a get away! Tracey the owner also a great host so helpful with every need would definitely recommend this cottage and will definitely be returning! thanks so much Customer 26
We had a very relaxing long weekend stay at Grooms Cottage . We visited Cheltenham, Burford and Witney. The hosts Stuart and Tracy were very welcoming and the Goodie box was most appreciated. We also had the added bonus of meeting Archie and Red the resident horses. We most definitely would return to this cottage, it was easy to find with the instructions given. Also a great base for a visit to the Cotswolds. Customer 27
with 2 adults there is not enough room. Customer 28
Everything one could need and the owners were friendly and very pleasant. Would visit again if wanting to stay in that area. Very handy location for visiting TheCotswolds. Customer 29
The owner was on site and was very friendly and welcoming. The welcome pack which included fresh bread was much appreciated as was ample supplies of essentials such as toilet rolls. The location is ideal for exploring the Oxfordshire area/ East Cotswolds and Minster Lovell itself is an extremely nice village to stay in. The only very slight gripe we had was the Freeview channels could be a bit tricky with intermitent problems use which appeared to be due to signal loss. Customer 30
The hosts were very welcoming, but not intrusive. The welcome box was much appreciated. Customer 31
Tracey thoughtfully provided a practical welcome basket of bread, butter, jam and milk which was so appreciated as we were held up during our flight this year and for the first time in twenty years of coming from Australia we didn't shop on the way to our first cottage. So, thank you Tracey. Loved having the animals around and feeding the horses. Customer 32
A wonderful welcome box was left with a selection of lovely items and even some fresh bread. Thank you! Customer 33
On our arrival we found a delicious welcome box. The location is absolutely perfect for trips to Oxford and into the Cotswolds. Customer 34
