We really enjoyed mid lodge. It’s so peaceful and the location is beautiful. If you’re wanting somewhere you can walk to the shop or pub then this isn’t for you as there is nothing around it, however it was lovely and cosy with a glass of wine and the log burner. I did a few runs whilst there and it’s stunning scenery make for a great start to the day. We used the cottage as a base and travelled all round this side of Scotland. We also did a few walks, one we particularly enjoyed was the River Beauly Lovat bridge loop!! I would say equipment in the cottage was great however it could do with a frying pan, we bought our own whilst there but generally it was great and remember to take dishwasher tablets. Lovely and clean, no issues with cleanliness at all. Nice little bridge and river outside the cottage door and it was great listening to it flowing. Would we stay here again , we absolutely would, it was a lovely week spent as a family. Book, you won’t be disappointed!

Mid Lodge is located in the countryside with great views. The house has been renovated to a good standard but is too small for 6 adults. The stairs are very steep and won't suit small children or those with mobility issues. However there is a double bedroom downstairs along with the only shower room / toilet. The furnishings are cheap and let the property down. Neither of the two upstairs bedrooms have any hanging space . Slightly disappointing!

The referred to pub within one mile which was high on our reasons for booking closed a number or years ago. This is why the location was marked down otherwise the location was superb. A second toilet would have been handy but we new it only had one when we booked.

overall very good indeed
A welcome pack would have been appreciated and there was no hanging space upstairs. Drawer space downstairs was limited but there was plenty of hanging space .
