There’s so much space inside, so if there’s a large group, you don’t feel on top of each other and I could happily live in either of the super comfy couches!! Tina was so welcoming and a great help with some queries I had prior to our stay - we would definitely love to return Ms Cunningham (June 2021)
Spacious and very comfortable. Tina is incredibly accommodating and available if there is any problem. The position of the house with regard to views of the sea are unparalleled and there are many historical sites nearby if that’s your fancy. Lovely holiday. Ms Lenoir (December 2020)
It was very homely, clean, spacious, well equipped and warm. The views were amazing. Tina was a pleasure to deal with. Cannot wait to return! Ms Jordan (September 2020)
The town itself is only a quick car drive or a nice walk away and the sandy beach in Enniscrone is fabulous and stretches for miles. The house was modern and spacious and all of our party of 5 Adults and 5 children enjoyed their stay. The kitchen was well fitted out with a large cooker, and two seperate fridges and washing and drying facilities were ideal. The Wifi stopped working and our host had a man onsight the next day to replace the cable. The house is amazing with everything you and your family will need for a great holiday. To top it all off the views over Killala bay are fabulous with amazing sunsets. Dr Mcconville (July 2020)
Tina was very helpful and accessible. We are looking forward to coming back Miss Rogan (August 2019)
The location beside the sea is outstanding. We loved the walk by the sea which was accessible to my mother who has mobility problems. The weather was mixed but we were able to get out and about. Tina was very welcoming and helpful. Mrs Stuart (July 2019)
Our second time to stay and already planning the third visit. Tina was so accommodating and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough. Ms Leech (June 2019)

Amazing Sunsets We have just returned from a week's holiday. My sister in laws and brother in law stayed the first 3 nights, then our 2 daughters, their partners and 2 baby grandchildren came. The place is so spacious with a large conservatory and amazing views over the bay. There are toys for the children, games and lots of glasses and crockery to keep the dishwasher happy. The manageress could not be more helpful and lives a few houses away if needed, but we had no problems especially as there is a booklet that very clearly outlines how everything works. We were lucky with the weather and able to experience the amazing sunsets on our first three days but unfortunately it was then cloudy later in the week. The house is the last one on Pier Road and has its own track on to the rocky beach. It is about a mile from Inniscrone, but there is a good cliff top footpath to the resort.Nearby is a swimming pool with slides ( you have to wear swimming caps ) and there is an excellent pitch and putt course in the centre. Traceys cafe serves great coffee and snacks. The Ocean Sands hotel has a good early diner offer up to 18.30 which suited us when we had the children.Nearby Ballina is good for the shops. For food shopping there is a Tesco, Dunnes and 2 Lidls. There are also 2 or 3 convenience stores in Inniscrone.Knock airport is about an hours drive so if you are a large party you would have to be lucky to find better value for money accomodation. Plenty of space for the family and close to amenities. Great spot in Enniscrone good fun had by all. Mrs Montgomery (April 2019)
We also had great beaches 5 minutes away by car ,the children enjoyed exploring down by the house on rocks and water. Altogether a holiday to remember. Mrs Lesleystead (May 2018)
At the kitchen they had everything that you need and even more. It has a wifi which I think very important nowadays, very few holiday homes have it. Nice and comfy beds, the most favorite place for all of us, of course, was the Conservatory room. One thing that we had an issue with hot water, as we had 2 infants it was a little tense in the sense that the water was only getting hot in the early morning and in the afternoon it just did not warm up even when turned on. It was warmed only after 5 pm, so we had no hot water throughout the day which is though when you have small children. Over all we very enjoyed our holiday at Sunset Cottage in Enniscrone, and I would recommend this holiday home! Mr Vinogradov (April 2018)
The location is stunning and the views are breath taking. It’s a really comfortable house you feel like you are in somebody’s home. Very clean and well looked after, would highly recommend and stay again! Miss Flannelly (February 2018)
My family stayed at the Sunset Beach Cottage over the summer and enjoyed every minute. The house is large enough for extended family to spend quality time together yet there is still enough space to have some quiet time. The cottage is within walking distance to many local restaurants and pubs. Also within walking distance is a sandy beach where surfing and paddle boarding are available (my kids were thrilled to be able to jump of the pier with the locals), a playground, an arcade, and crazy golf. A 10 minute drive takes you into Ballina where you can stroll around town and watch the salmon fisherman try their luck. While staying at the Sunset Beach Cottage, we were within driving distance to many tourist attractions such as the Marble Arch Caves, Galway, and Ashford Castle. We were lucky enough to have cows as our neighbors across the road and horses just in the backyard. This is a fantastic location for families with children as there is plenty of activities for kids and the location is also great for adults as it in close proximity to great restaurants/pubs that feature traditional music and activities rich with the Irish culture.
