However, we found the cleanliness very disappointing - with black around the fridge seals and dishwasher in the kitchen. Black around the taps in the bathroom and downstairs wc, an old 'unsealed' bare wooden toilet seat in the downstairs wc. In the lounge the covers on the soft furnishings were dirty and threadbare, and the rug on the floor was particularly dirty and threadbare. The property also had 2 leaking radiator pipes, which were reported. Overall the property needs updating and a deep clean. With the current state of Covid19 we would have expected a cleaner environment! Mrs Edwards (June 2021)
Local to the bay, with a 10 minute lane walk to the centre. Would highly recommend a visit. Mrs Byers (October 2020)
Couldn’t ask for anything more really!! ....and the shower was amazing Campbell (September 2019)
Always superb. The house has many more bits and bobs than normally available in a holiday cottage (e.g. electric lemon juicer) and the large private estate with woods, fields and the access to the Inland Sea is also a major bonus Mr Lockett (August 2019)
We feel it needs a bit of TLC and probably a deep clean. Mrs Lees (May 2019)
Thank you Mr Garfield (May 2019)
Well equipped home from home. Would definitely consider returning. Having the added bonus of the additional Bothy made this the perfect choice for all our family celebrating our Pearl wedding anniversary together. Mrs Holt (April 2019)
The cottage is lovely and very quiet and the grounds it is set in are wonderful for walking the dog and kids. You are near enough to Treadur Bay to walk in about 10 minutes and the supermarkets / shops should you need them are close by. Miss Oldham (March 2019)
The cottage is lovely and very quiet and the grounds it is set in are wonderful for walking the dog and kids. You are near enough to Treadur Bay to walk in about 10 minutes and the supermarkets / shops should you need them are close by. Some doorways upstairs and the ceiling on the stairs are low but my 6' 5" partner managed without hitting his head too often. We will be visiting again. Miss Oldham (March 2019)
Always a delight. Already booked for next year. Mr Lockett (August 2018)
Excellent communications from yourselves and owner / local caretaker / cleaner etc at the farmhouse . Had a lovely time , so peaceful and relaxing . Very special ! Would love to revisit and will certainly both use yourselves again and recommend to friends . Thankyou very much Mrs Wright (July 2018)
The fact that the house owns so much land is an added bonus and is worth exploring. The location of the modern shower room is a little strange as it is next to the large barn and not really within the main house! However, the house bathroom is fine but has a bath and no shower. Would certainly consider booking this property again as the house is very comfortable and well equipped in a great location. Mrs Atkins (May 2018)
So quiet and peaceful with lovely walks from the farm. Mr Boundy (April 2018)
.. Walks are fab. Accomodation brill. Great for adventures with the kids/dogs. Couldn't fault it. Will be back. Mrs Hagan (March 2018)
We did find ourselves in need of assistance and the very detailed contact list on the notice board in the kitchen proved invaluable to contact somebody to help us. Cwm Farm is unique. From the moment you arrive and get the fire going, you are at home, with absolutely everything you need having been thought of and available for your use. The location is fantastic being surrounded by open countryside and with the waterside being a short walk away. A real bonus was the sight of a red squirrel in the grounds. There are few places we would return to as we generally think that there are too many places to visit in a life time to go back anywhere, but Cwm Farm could prove to be the exception to the rule! Thank you Susannah for sharing this beautiful place. Mrs Banks (March 2018)
Loved the mown pathways around the fields and meandering through the woods to the beaches. We had a truly restful break. Miss Henry (May 2017)
Peaceful and quiet away from the rat race yet close enough to nip to the shops for everything you need. Ideal for dog walking and getting out in the countryside and some fabulous views. Mrs Housley (March 2017)
Clearly a great deal of attention has been given to creating a really special place. The cottage's grounds are a particular feature, the private coastal walk a real highlight. The location is stunning and the beautiful views have been maximised through the sensitive modernisation of the old cottage. Customer 18
brilliant walks and lovely views, we will be going back. Customer 19
Always a delight. Already booked for next year. Superbly equipped. Large estate and woods to wander around. Own beaches on the inland sea for swimming/messing around in boats Great for kids Handy for all of Anglesey and North Wales as well (If you can bear to leave the tranquillity of Cwm Farm) Lots of new eating places appeared. Spoilt for choice for eating and drinking out Customer 20
