Great relaxing break Beautiful property where the owners have really thought of everything. The barn was big and spacious but also warm and homely. Kitchen had everything you need and more. Local areas has good walks and there were several shops and a major supermarket within a short drive. Our teenagers especially loved the hot tub and watching the red kites . Customer 1 (03 January 2022)
The owners have thought of everything and it is furnished to such a high standard . They are very welcoming and friendly . Mrs Duffy (August 2021)
Loved sitting out on balcony watching the wildlife. Mrs Bianchi (July 2021)
We went on many challenging & adventurous walks & so the hot tub was heaven to relax in after. Being surrounded by sheep & no other noises was just glorious & the house was very spacious fo the three of us celebrating a 50th birthday. The only point I would mention if you go is to take a speaker you can play music on as there is only a radio at the house. If you want peace & quiet with the luxury of a hot tub then this is the place to be. We didn’t want to leave! Mrs Taylor (May 2021)
The barn is outstanding, luxurious and very clean. Very well equipped. Hot tub is superb and was a great pain reliever. Views fantastic. Mrs Nixon very helpful. And we especially loved being so close to all the sheep and lambs. They are so funny and lovely to watch. Better than any TV. Marvellous scenery all around the place. We did not want to leave. We hope to be back as soon as possible but Brynhir farm seems to be booking up really fast. The photos do not do this place justice. Thanks so much To the Nixons :). Mr Davies (May 2021)
Wonderful week Absolutely stunning place. The barn had everything you needed. Was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The views are incredible watching the Kites and lambs. We were so lucky to have fantastic weather. Ceinwen was lovely and even fed the kites for us which was a fantastic experience. Managed to see so many places around and have already booked for next year. Customer 6 (22 April 2021)
so relaxing and beautiful surroundings. Loved every minute Mrs Herbert (September 2020)
The photos really don’t do it justice. ... Mrs Cann (August 2020)
The photos really don’t do it justice. I felt like I was in a self catering hotel suite. Ceinwein (owner and very friendly) has thought of everything and the little things made it feel like it was home to home. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but it didn’t matter as we thoroughly enjoyed chilling in this luxurious place until the rain stopped at 3pm! WiFi and mobile reception was intermittent but it was an added bonus to have a break from gadget screens. WiFi works in the main farmhouse if you’re desperate but we found a signal standing outside the main farmhouse. We only needed it for researching things to do. We filled our week up and ventured to many places. I’d recommend bringing a night light if you have children as it is pitch black at night. But the bonus of no light pollution was sitting on the balcony looking at the stars. My son was very excited to see shooting stars and satellites. There is a sat freeview tv in every room but we also brought our own dvds (not Blu-ray). The sheep and cows were very entertaining with their conversations plus we had the pleasure of kites whistling to each and flying from tree to tree. Stunning birds. Loved it all! Mrs Cann (August 2020)
We arrived about an hour early and she allowed us entry. As soon as we arrived she gave us some home cooked treats that we really appreciated. We loved the property, it was amazing, home from home. All kitchen utensils you would want are available. Our biggest enjoyment was sitting in the hot tub watching the lambs jumping and playing right next to us. There was grass right next to the barn for our boy to play footy on, perfect in the nice weather. There are some lovely walks right from the ... Mrs Buchanan (April 2019)
The owners we’re friendly, polite and went above and beyond to make our holiday fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The hot tub was clean and checked regularly. I would highly recommend this place. Miss Mayo (October 2018)
Couldn't fault it. Mrs Nixon was an also excellent host. Mrs Rushton (September 2018)
Feels totally isolated from one side of the house, very peaceful with just cows and sheep for company! The property is furnished to a really high standard and the owners are on hand if you need anything and leave you alone if you don’t. Would happily come back again Miss Horsfall (September 2018)
A great base for exploring lots of wonderful places being pretty central. The owners were really good, and made us feel really welcome. Mr Jennings (July 2018)
It was so comfortable and in such nice surroundings we didn’t want to leave. The owners of the farm were such nice people and very accommodating. We will definitely be returning at some point. Mr Ridley (March 2018)
The bed in the second double (which can be twin) is quite hard, but that is just personal preference! Superb holiday Mrs Freeman (December 2016)
Liked the stunning location, running through the fields and blue bell woods, visits to Elan Valley and returning to such a beautifully presented base. Watching lambs and calves frolicking in the field below the balcony, idyllic! I picnicked with my 6 month old daughter by the stream at the bottom of the field. Watching the sun set from the hot tub - bliss! A very relaxing holiday, thoroughly recommended. Customer 17 (14 May 2016)

This was the perfect place to stay. The location was lovely and peaceful. The barn is spacious well thought out and of a very high standard inside. The owners who were very friendly and welcoming had provided and thought of everything you could need when on a self catering holiday. Plus having the extra relaxing fun of a hot tub. Everything was just perfect, we have no complaints whatsoever and found it to be good value for money. Definitely would recommend this property. 5 stars is well justified. Customer 21 (17 June 2015)

It was very clean , very spacious and extremely comfortable, especially the beds . The hot tub was fab and great to relax in after a day out walking and sight seeing. The hosts Mrs & Mr Nixon were very friendly and quite helpful. Although their own property was behind the lodge they were not intrusive and you hardly knew they were there . I would highly recommend this property if you want a quiet relaxing break. We look forward to another stay in the near future. Customer 23

Mrs. Nixon was a fab host. The place is tranquil and remote which we loved. The accommodation itself is huge! Only two of us stayed and it can definitely accommodate 4 people! And it goes without saying the hot tub was A+! Customer 34
