We’ve done many day trips to Holt so it was lovely to move in for the week and be able to mooch around the shops at leisure and hunt for foodie items. The cottage is fantastic - so central but also with its own garden estate! We were blessed with great weather so summer evenings in front of the barbecue were the order of the day. Look forward to our next stay. The Nasses (August 2022)
This is our fourth stay at Daisy Cottage and as ever it has not disappointed. The children noticed some of the new decorative touches - the tide clock fascinated them, and if anything the cottage is better equipped than ever. Everything we might hae needed is here. We enjoyed using the games and colouring pencils with the children - a really great touch.
This is a fab base and we have been all over - Horsey beach (with all the seals), rock pooling at West Runton beach, and climbing at BeWilderwood were some of the highlights. Thanks The Gough Family (August 2022)
We’ve had a wonderful stay at Daisy Cottage. We visit Holt most years an would definitely return to this cottage. We’ve made a few suggestions in the maintenance book but none of these detracted from our wonderful stay. The cottage is very comfortable, we really appreciated all the little touches too. We look forward to coming back. Janice, Lee & Sophie (August 2022)
We can fully endorse what has been said in the previous review. A great stay in a beautifully equipped cottage in a fine location. It seems that Holt has been relegated to a village - it has an awful lot to offer for a village!! We would recommend a visit to Houghton Hall which is a stunning house and grounds. Felbrigg walled garden is also a must. Meg & Ian (July 2022)
Have enjoyed many stays here over many years and have never been disappointed. The cottage is extremely well equipped and cleaned to a high standard. The location is ideal and we hope it is not too long until we return. Thank you. Carol & Angela (July 2022)
Very comfortable home from home in an excellent location. Thank you for the extra touches - wine, chocs, coffee and dog treats. Lovely garden and fully secure. Linda, Daniel, Gwen and Dolly the dog (July 2022)
Had a lovely time in your beautiful cottage. The garden is also nice and secluded. Hope to come again. Pauline & Brian (July 2022)
We had previously stayed at the cottage opposite, and had always admired this cottage and were very surprised that it was up for rental. We arrived not knowing what to expect and were completed amazed at how beautiful the cottage was, and how clean and well set out. Whoever arranged all the little finishing touches with pictures and little ornamental touches made us feel very at home and should be complimented. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed many hours enjoying the lovely weather on the patio. Holt is one of our favourite places but we did spend most days out but always came back to the country park to enjoy a doggy walk and cup of tea. We have had a lovely week and have booked again for next year. Many thanks for sharing your home with us. Shirly and Dave (July 2022)
Where do I start. This cottage is the best equipped holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. We have been to many!! Lots of little thoughtful extra touches make this a wonderful place to stay. The garden was brilliant for our dog and we sat and had lunch and dinner out on the patio quite a few times. Holt is such an amazing little town - all very individual little shops with lovely produce. Needless to say we have booked for next year already! Thank you so very much for your hospitality. Ade & Sally (June 2022)
Comfortable, clean, inviting and well presented. Nice suntrap for sitting outside plus barbecue.Good kitchen appliances and all necessary cookware.
Parking, a great asset. Town centre easily accessible on foot.
Generally this property has been well thought out by the owners, to give holiday makers a great experience.
Thank you. Mrs H (June 2022)
Back to Holt for our annual visit & a further stay at Daisy Cottage. Enjoyed our visit - thanks for the bottle & very much enjoyed the coastal fragrances.
Visited normal haunts - Blickling, Felbrigg, Natural Surroundings cafe, Stody, Holt Garden Centre, Holt Country Park, Wiverton Cafe, East Runton Gardens & Horning. Smelly cheese and Casa Blanca in Holt highly recommended. K & Family (June 2022)
Excellent ,cottage, really clean, well-organised, thoughtfully put together, Holt is both a great village and a perfect base for exploring. We ent walking at Cley-Next-The-Sea & Salthouse, Wells-Next-The-Sea and Holkham, Sandringham Royal Estate and Old Hunstanton, Sherringham & Weybourne. via the N.Norfolk railway and Blakeney/Wiverton downs. Great walking countryside. It was nice to have a BBQ here in the garden. In town, the Kings Head and the Chubby Seal Craft Beer bar were both good, Casa Blanca for a relaxed glass of wine and Byfords, superb for meals, takeaway pizzas and also pies and pastries. Had a good curry from Taste of India too. A lovely week at Daisy Cottage. S & J (June 2022)
Fantastic family cottage, really enjoyed our week here. Holt is a lovely village with lots of amazing shops and resturants. There is always lots to do in Norfolk with the kids. We will love to come here again in the future. M & Family (June 2022)
Enjoyed a lovely week here in Holt and Daisy Cottage. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we could need including for the dog - so thoughtful. visited beautiful places in the area and had a couple of meals at The Ship Inn at Weybourne, highly recommend, good food & lovely staff.
Thank you for a comfortable stay - would defiantly return. S & Family (May 2022)
Great stay! Great house! Top marks for a beautifully and thoughtfully equipped kitchen- very unusual in our experience. Indeed exceptional. cool weather so dining/conservatory very much appreciated. as coffee addicts sampled many holt coffee stops - however, surprise top ratings to the fishmongers around the corner - B3 Seafoods - exquisite fish soup & salmon pate and Two Magpies bakery awesome. Nikki & Family (April 2022)
Beautiful home from home! Egg cups, dog treats, wonderful cottage. We have stayed in Norfolk a lot and this is one of the best! Thank you for sharing your home - a perfect location to explore Holt and we loved being able to walk from the pub... :)

The location was perfect and we enjoyed exploring the town of Holt and nearby Country Park was perfect for dog walking. A very enjoyable break. Thank you. Mackenzie Family (April 2022)
Finally a proper holiday let with proper wine glasses! Best equipped kitchen, warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. Garden lovely as well as spacious. Amazing doggie welcome pack - honestly the best we’ve seen in years of travelling with dogs. Lovely touch having the local soap/hand cleanser and Norfolk coffee (we spoiled ourselves with The Two Magpies though!)
Thank you for being very thoughtful & tasteful hosts! xx Phil & Linda (March 2022)
A perfect holiday cottage both in facilities and location. We had a delightful stay in Daisy Cottage, Holt. The cottage was immaculate and made so welcoming by its owners. So nice to be right in the heart of Holt, with private parking too.
Highly recommended property. The Cashmore Family (March 2022)
What can we say! Steve & Lisa you have thought of everything. Daisy cottage is lovely, a perfect holiday home. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Particually enjoyed the art in each room, such a nice touch.
Hope that the little wren nesting in the ivy covered tree trunk by the window is successful too.
Many thanks and best wishes for the future. Bev & Paul (March 2022)
We have had to give up our beloved touring caravan. We are in our nineties & found certain aspects of caravaning difficult. Daisy cottage, so warm and comfortable, has proved to us that we can have a good holiday without th van! Especially as our daughter and son in-law planned & arranged everything - we had to just enjoy ourselves! So thank you very much. Rev Roger & Mary (March 2022)
Daisy Cottage has such character whilst being beautiful & comfortable, The Norfolk + costal theme is lovely. Thank you for such a lovely stay. S & Family (March 2022)
