Great location and spacious house.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only slight problem was some sort of intermittent knocking sound perceived from the heating system.

Love turnstone holiday home it’s a great place to stay with family & friends the views of the sea are amazing & so close to town…Perfect location.Only downside this time we stayed were all the fruit flies in the house due to an old half eaten apple we found under the bed in the back room & the bathroom didn’t smell very pleasant…but all in all we do love staying at turnstone cottage & it will always be our first choice for our stay in sheringham

Location brilliant. Overall house was good. Only downside hardly anywhere to hang clothes in all but one bedroom. The sea view was stunning and location for us as a family was perfect.

The cottage is excellent for location and amenities. It is expensive when used by a single couple (us) but would become excellent value for money spread across 2-4 couples.
The biggest single issue is the lack of parking. There are no adjacent loading zones so using the nearest pay and display leaves a decent bag drag. And the nearest P&D does not allow o/n parking (it is small and the Council don't want long term stayers) so you have to park even further away. It was useable for us as we were there October, but high season would be pretty bad.

Beautiful spacious house over three levels with fabulous sea views . Close to the town and lots of nice pubs restaurants, shops etc.
No parking but a pay and display just a few metres down the road.

We had a wonderful holiday, much of it was down to the beautiful Turnstone Cottage. Perfect for young children, parents and grandparents.
My husband and I were on the top floor room……a real delight.
The only negatives which we experienced were that the windows were very salty and marked. This was the first thing we noticed on entering the cottage as it spoilt the views of the sea.
Also, with so much space on the top floor it was sad not to find any drawers for clothing and the coat hangers which were fixed to the wall didn’t have sufficient drop for shirts let alone a dress.

We had an amazing stay at Turnstone cottage ,very well equipped excellent location spotlessly clean ,beautiful views & very quite.I would recommend Turnstone Cottage to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay in Sheringham.I would definitely be booking to stay again & so would my family

No heating or Hot water until Sat lunchtime, landlord had to get someone to put money on the gas meter as they forgot !! Boiler wouldn't work so had to reset ourselves, Landlord said would give us some cash to get ourselves a meal due to the inconvenience, none arrived ! Sofas were stained with what looked like milk, patio doors were so Rusty , they wouldn't close, had to leave them open, when we left , text the Landlord again to tell them , no reply , we have been to many holiday lets over the years and never had service like this , complete disinterest from the Landlord

This cottage is amazing - warm, comfortable and homely. The location is fabulous. Looking out on to the sea, next to a lovely pub and where the shops are - you couldn’t get better!
The owners go out of the way to provide EVERYTHING needed and more. Dream home.
Only note is - no parking so therefore a bit of a walk from car but this was no problem for us personally.
