This was a wonderful house that felt like you were staying in a friends home and a friend with great taste at that. There were lots of lovely touches throughout and even after a fortnight still kept finding hidden gems ud83dude01. Plenty of the necessary items to eat in if you wanted, furnishings were very good and all a a better quality than your usual holiday let. Location couldn’t be better very easy walking distance into holt, which I would highly recommend beautiful town with lots of shops and places to eat. Great find would happily recommend

Beautiful spacious cottage, well appointed to make guests feel very at homeNicely off the road but very convenient for walking in to town. Parking is ok for small cars. Sweet little courtyard garden for sitting or dining.

Lovely cottage- extremely clean and well appointed kitchen.Very comfortable beds. Great to be able just to walk into the centre of Holt.

Lovely cottage set back off the road which had been newly decorated.Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped.Beds were very comfortable.Owner was keen to provide helpful information about the area.My Yaris fitted in the parking spot ok but I can see that a long car would block access to other properties. The alternative spaces suggested were nearby.The cottage is full of character, which does mean the floor is at a different level in each room downstairs and the stairs are quite steep. This was a bit of a challenge for my octogenarian mother.

Beautiful cottage in the lovely little town of Holt. We had the most amazing 3 days, we couldn’t ask for more. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely week at Hero Cottage and will happily return. It's cosy, well furnished, in a great location and with a very helpful owner. Our only minor issue was the erratic temperature of the ensuite shower. Re the parking, we have a Volvo XC60, which we parked diagonally across the parking space. This left loads of room for vehicles (including a building supplies truck!) to pass and we had no issues at all.

We had an absolutely perfect stay over New Year at Hero Cottage. It was warm, cosy, clean and very comfortable and the presentation was excellent. We will most certainly return to Hero again

A beautifully maintained cottage in a quiet location, yet two minutes from the high street with its numerous independent shops, restaurants and pubs. We return here each year for an extended winter break.

Hero Cottage is lovely and owner Nigel very helpful and friendly. He wanted to make sure we were comfortable and there were no problems which was very nice of him. Anyone wanting to stay in Holt would not go wrong staying here, the location is ideal just off the main street where there are so many shops, eateries, pubs etc - all explored several times!

Me and my mum stayed at this cottage for 4 nights. It is wonderfully cosy and comfortable and beautifully decorated. Very well situated as a base for seeing all that’s on offer in North Norfolk and further south if you want to drive a little further. Some supplies were put in the fridge for us including a nice bottle of wine. Nigel the owner was great with advice about where to eat. Couldn’t fault our stay here and would totally recommend it to everyone.

Lovely cottage in a lovely location. Nigel the owner was the greatest host ( wish I had bought the grey charger plate now). Don’t let any parking reviews put you off just park an inch away from the cottage in a small car then nothing can be said. Would highly recommend, thanks for a great week ud83dude0a

Hero cottage is perfectly situated in Holt, only walking distance to shops and restaurants, and a close enough drive to many of North Norfolk beaches.

The cottage itself is lovely and clean, well equipped and very cosy but also with some interesting paintings and ornaments.

Nigel the owner is a great host.
