The apartment could be so much better with a few minor changes, the towels clearly hadn't been washed as they were stained and stunk of mould, the bedding was stained also. The flat is a great location but overall not very clean and I would take my own bedding and towels. We had to wash up all the crockery and cutlery before we used them. Customer 1 (02 July 2024)
Overall very good but few things could make another stay more enjoyable & comfortable .No instructions on how to turn on the cooker hob we got it turned in but couldn’t increase the heat it is an electric hob.Need dark curtains to block out the light in bedrooms there are blinds but they don't block the light & this time of year it’s gets light very early.Need coasters for the coffee table cups were marking it .No brush or dustpan available even if needed for a spilage or to sweep sand up Light bulb in 2nd bedroom needed replacing We did enjoy our stay it was just little things that need putting right. & we would book again Customer 2 (28 June 2024)
Really good apartment. No instructions on how to use the hob. The design of the plate of the microwave needs looking at, it may be the motor. The windows need looking at or replaced, there is a gap which makes the apartment really cold. The dinning chairs need tiding up using an Alan key and gluing. All four are very loose. The 2nd bedroom light bulb not working. Needs replacing. The bin outside the front was full and overflowing. Customer 3 (18 June 2024)
Great location. The beds are very comfy. Fab price too! Thank you! Customer 4 (05 June 2024)
Very happy and perfect for someone like myself looking for a base camp close to town, parking for the car and a TV and WiFi to satisfy my daily needs. I would recommend some new towels and linen, few more bits of crockery and to put in some cleaning items. Would happily visit again and Cromer is great, food and ales compliment an excellent walking coastline Cambridge Mr P from Cambridge (22 May 2024)
Absolutely amazing flat, location and quality. Only niggle was it was a very warm weather and even with all the rads turned off they were still warm and didn’t turn off all weekend. Other than that it was faultless. Would definitely recommend. Customer 6 (08 April 2024)
Pleasant stay here for 3 nights, quiet, comfortable & everything you need. Flat was warm even though we turned down the radiators as we had good weather. The firestick did buffer when watching TV in the evening but not a huge issue. Close to the center of Cromer & its amenities. Unfortunately our clothes have what looks like pet hair on them, although we can't be rectified. Towels on the small side & felt a bit old. Flat has a few minor issues nothing that will affect your stay. Customer 7 (21 March 2024)
Lovely flat, short walking distance to town and amenities Thanks for a lovely stay Caroline from Cumbria (31 October 2023)
Had a wonderful three night stay at flat 4. The building and flat have clearly been renovated recently to a good standard and has kept a lot of the original period features like fireplaces. The rooms are nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and pillows linen etc all provided. The flat was very clean and all needed equipment was provided in the kitchen. The flat was very quiet as is the street where the it is located. It is only a short walk to the promenade and you can see the sea from the bedroom window I would stay there again. Andy Smith from Market Harborough (28 September 2023)
The flat had the potential to be perfect. The location was great, with everything you need close by. The building is beautiful with lots of original features and the flat had everything you need for a week stay. The owners had recently had a flood which obviously affected things and we appreciate it must be hard to rectify and sort things out in the middle of a busy season. As such some things needed sorting during our trip as they meant they were not safe for the children. Communication with the owner was easy and things did get resolved and however, one thing that could have been easily sorted and would have made it easier to forgive some of the other issues would be if the flat was clean! The bathroom floor was disgusting and kitchen drawers were dirty. The owner offered someone to come and re-clean but with 2 children and a whole heap of stuff it wouldn’t have been practical to pack everything up, so we did it ourselves. Such a shame as this could be a little gem! Trusted Customer from Northamptonshire (28 September 2023)
It was nice to see original artwork on the walls by an artist I had heard of. Customer 11 from Cambridge (23 June 2023)
Pretty much perfect, our only criticism is that there were no instructions for any of the appliances. As we are not familiar with an induction hob, we really struggled with it. Instructions would have made life easier. Helen from Worthing (23 June 2023)
Location was really good just 10 minutes from the centre of Cromer. The flat needed a clean as dusty and no toiletries as promised. Very nice decor but let down by basic beds and sofa. Pity as good really be a gem of a place. Martin from Newcastle (27 May 2023)
Couldn't get into the property. Two of the three phone numbers wouldn't ring through, the final one rang but no one answered. Once we were finally in, flat was dirty, to the point of sanitary products in the bin. In fairness to the owners, they did send a cleaner in the next day but it still meant on night one we had to sleep without a pillowcase on a pillow as it was missing. The final straw was water coming through the ceiling. Again, not the owners fault and he got an emergency plumber to us very quickly. The owner has since done everything he can to rectify the disaster we had however I would not recommend at all. We were there for 25 hours then left for home. Not the break we had planned.
