A beautifully presented cottage in a lovely rural location - lovely welcome pack - owners so helpful with information about local places to eat.Very well thought out with absolutely everything needed for a short break.

Excellent. Superb. Everything screams quality. Beautifully appointed. This place has been designed to create comfort even for those will mobility problem. There is no sense of it’ll do. The owners are just lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The lamb we had from the farm (ask Sue) was excellent. The welcome pack included: bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee, jams, marmalade and biscuits, it was most welcome. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, bathroom accessible. I love the adjustable height of the basins. The town of uppingham just down the road for shops of all kinds. The landscape the accommodation and the owners embraced us with serenity. We are going back next year.

One piece of advice, visit the gate garden centre early in your visit to Rutland, the farm shop there is fantastic.

Wonderful cottage nestling in a picture postcard village, overlooking fields. Extremely comfortable and well equipped. Totally accessible, with thoughtful options for a range of disabilities should they be needed. We’ve stayed in lots of excellent cottages but this has been the highest standard - lovely, thank you.
