Located in an isolated hamlet, this cosy and comfortable end terrace holiday cottage is charmingly furnished, with an abundance of character. It is set in a pretty garden overlooking farmland and open countryside. A delightfully peaceful retreat, it is well situated for exploring the Suffolk Heritage Coast, Minsmere Bird Sanctuary, Benacre National Reserve, Snape Maltings, and the music and concert centre at Aldeburgh. Just a short drive from the market towns of Beccles, Halesworth and Bungay, and the seaside delights of Southwold. Well stocked farm shop and separate village store in Wangford 2 miles. Pub 1½ miles.

April Cottage is an ideal base for touring the area. The cottage was clean, warm and well equipped for our stay. Southwold, RSPB Minsmere, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh all are just a short drive away. There’s a pub about 1 mile away that does meals also. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful location, Clean, well equipped and comfortable cottage, bed was comfy.Lots of lovely walks nearby, no immediate amenities nearby, but shops in neighbouring villages / towns.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. Well kept. Good local venues for meals and we can recommend the local Chinese takeaway. Lots to see and do in the area. Hope to visit again.

This cottage suits us. We like its secluded location. All necessary facilities are provided and it is spacious enough for two of us.
In fact, we have booked again for next year as there is so much to see in lovely Suffolk!

We have stayed at April Cottage twice now. It is in a quiet location but close to major routes. The Chinese at Wrentham delivers a good meal and The Plough Pub serves good food too. Southwold is a beautiful seaside town both for adults and children.

This cottage is a very nice relaxing cottage in a relaxing area. Perfect for the younger couple with maybe one child. The stairs were very tight and steep we found for elderly seniors. The kitchen is huge with all that you need. Local shops were within a few miles. Minsmere well worth a visit.

Amazing cottage, fully equipped and ideally situated. You can walk or bike to the local pub which I highly recommend. If you want the shops you need to drive or bike. Beautiful views and very cosy. We have booked up to go again.
