Very clean cottage, nice owners who provided tray and food items which was very thoughtful. The bathroom was a very long walk from main bedroom. There were a couple of steps with metal edges internally near kitchen which both of us fell up and hurt toes on, very sharp edges. Hot water supply was hit and miss even when I let it run (as advised) for a couple of minutes. Heating was good. Not keen on idea of bedrooms having internal windows on to living room as there was no way to block out light or noise from tv/lounge use. Great seclusion, tidy paddock to run dog, with lovely lady at b&b who keeps ponies next door. Easy enough to find but remote up single track. Lesley (27 October 2018)
A really lovely 'home from home' cottage, attractive and very comfortable with everything you need. we had a great time and our two dogs loved playing in the paddock. we've already recomended this place to family and friends - it's one of the best we've stayed in. Terri from St Helens (06 October 2018)
We had a wonderfully relaxing week in the cottage, with everything we could want. it is quiet, peaceful, and away-from-it-all. we used the cottage as a base for exploring anglesey, and no-where on the island is more than an hour's drive away. it was lovely to return 'home' at the end of each day, to be warm and cosy. It was a fabulous holiday. Joan from Leyland, Lancs (29 September 2018)
This is a lovely cottage in a very nice location. It is extremely clean and is equipped with everything you need. The welcome pack was a surprise and a lovely touch was the dog treats. Would recommend this property to anyone. Michael from Stafford (22 September 2018)
Bryn llyn is a lovely cottage with everything you will need. Comfortable and home from home. The surrounding area is so peaceful and relaxing and our black lab bessie and terrier jip had a great time running around in the paddock. We visited some lovely bays, caemes bay, church bay , moelfre and rhoscolyn.so pretty. A must is penrhos country park just into holy island, lovely countryside and beaches. A big thank you also to paul and gaynor and we would definitely recommend this cottage. Sue from Widnes (15 September 2018)
The seclusion was great for us and the property was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen provided for our needs adequately and the bathroom and shower were good. Wifi was very welcome! the beds were fine too. Paul and gaynor are very friendly and accommodating. They even provide washing powder and softener, which we haven't experienced before. We would definitely recommend bryn llyn to others who like to be shut away from the rat race. Geoff from Dudley (25 August 2018)
We loved our week at bryn llyn, it was isolated and I can't believe we managed a week without encountering someone else driving the other way on the one way track from the road to the cottage as there is a b&b and other cottages down there. . it was perfect for our dogs who loved the freedom of the paddock, especially our little rescue who is not good around other dogs, it was so nice to see her off the lead for the first time. . the cottage was well equipped and I can't think of anything that was not there, paul the owner was very helpful and we would definitely love to stay there again, but the journey was a bit long for the dogs from the north east due to break downs and accidents. . there were not a lot of local amenities but we knew this before booking and this suited us no problem. Dawn (14 July 2018)
This was our second visit to this lovely cottage, ideal holiday with a dog as there are lovely dog friendly beaches close by and a large paddock behind the cottage. The weather wasn’t too good during our week but it didn’t stop us enjoying a lovely week, lots of beautiful places to visit on anglesey and further afield was the snowdonia national park. We would highly recommend staying in this cottage, everything you need is provided. Melanie from Bury St Edmunds. Suffolk. (23 June 2018)

Really great place to stay going back in august that will be our third holiday there Stan from Stalybridge (20 May 2017)
This lovely cottage was equipped to the highest standard, it made for a perfect holiday, the paddock was ideal for our dog to run around in, cottage is set in a quiet area with nice places especially the beaches to visit. Paul and gaynor have thought of everything to make this a holiday to remember, we liked the welsh cakes and welcome treats you left for us and the doggie treats. We were lucky with the beautiful weather all week, we would highly recommend this cottage and would certainly stay again. Melanie from Bury St Edmunds (13 May 2017)
Loved it, so remote and quiet but easy access to most major centres. the dogs loved the 1 acre paddock although I could have done with a longer lie in! David from Cirencester (29 April 2017)
Lovely cottage in remote area. lay out of cottage is a little odd but fine. only slight problem was shower sometimes did not get very hot. otherwise excellent. Karen (15 April 2017)
Super holiday cottage. Very safe for the dogs and extremely comfortable with everything you could think off for equipment and entertainment with games, tv, dvds etc. Very clean and warm. Twenty minutes from holyhead one way for big shops and twenty the other way for loverly beaches. Very very quiet location in midst of loverly countryside. Phillippa from Dunham Hill, Chester (08 April 2017)
This was our 2nd visit and once again we were delighted with the cottage and the effort the owners paul and gaynor go to. It truly is home from home and this cottage provides the perfect getaway allowing us to relax and recharge. A fabulous place to be. Lea from Rochdale, Lancashire (25 February 2017)
Wonderful get away from it all cottage, nice and peaceful location. Lorna from Ashton Under Lyne (05 November 2016)
The enclosed one acre paddock was perfect for the dog who also loved the local beaches. The cottage had everything we needed and was nicely secluded - very restful! Clint from Stockport (15 October 2016)
The cottage is perfect. The owners have considered everything and the cottage is modern clean and very comfortable. Our dogs loved the enclosed paddock which is completely secure and we had a wonderful holiday. We have already booked a repeat stay next year and can't wait to return. Thank you to paul and gaynor for the welcome gifts and attention to detail. Lea from Rochdale (20 August 2016)
A great little cottage in peaceful surroundings. Clean, welcoming and quirky. Close to great beaches at church bay and cemaes bay which also has great fish and chips. We enjoyed our stay though the kitchen could do with an apron! Andy from Doncaster (06 August 2016)
Lovely cottage, very comfortable and spacious. A nice place to chill out and enjoy the country side and walks. Owners could not be more helpful. Janice from Snodland (18 June 2016)
The cottage was really a nice place to stay and very quiet. Lots of stars to see on a clear night. All you need to take is yourself, toiletries and food as paul and gaynor have everything else in the cottage. There is a well stocked store in the village, a couple of minutes away by car. Caemes bay is less than 10 mins away by car and a nice clean beach. Lots of places to see and things to do on anglesey. There is a paddock at the rear of the cottage ideal for kids and dogs to run in. Would definitely go back there and will recommend to friends and family looking for a place to totally chill out. Doreen from Liverpool (04 June 2016)
Long walk to the loo John from Reigate (21 May 2016)
Beautiful quirky little cottage. Good location for a relaxing time. Plenty of room for the dog to roam. Really nice holiday. Would definitely recommend. Denise from Blackburn (07 May 2016)
No instruction leaflets in the cottage forappliances (needed something to inform on. Working of t.v.).owners very helpful when contacted. . . . should have taken board game and pack of cards, usually available in holiday cottages. Outdoor area ideal for children and dogs!. Gillian from Leeds (09 April 2016)
The owners gaynor & paul were very welcoming, lovely welcome gift of welsh cakes, butter & milk and treats for meg & bruce! the cottage was very clean with all the equipment we needed. the bed was one of the best we have slept in, in a cottage. The location was perfect at the end of a track & was very peaceful, our dogs loved the field at the back. As it was at the end of the track we could let the dogs out & not worry. Cemaes bay was close by and was a lovely beach with round the headland walk. We never return to a cottage as we like to go somewhere different but if we did it would be one we would go back. Would recommend to anyone who likes to get away from the crowds! Jen from Congleton (12 March 2016)
Our stay at bryn llyn was everything we could have asked for, the owners (paul & gaynor) and the property far exceeded our expectations. Our dog max loved the enclosed paddock. The property was clean and well kept as were the grounds. It was also well furnished and had everything required. If there was a star rating I would give this property 5 out 5 and would willing recommend this property. If you like peace and quiet then this place is for you. Anthony from Chorley (31 October 2015)
Loved the house but wouldn't stay again due to the location and the garden not being fully secure for the dogs. It was spotless and the owners were very friendly. Louise from Derbyshire (10 October 2015)
Had a really nice time enjoyed the cottage and surrounding places. Alan from Congleton (03 October 2015)
Perfect peaceful retreat. Excellent for the dogs. Owners helpful. Clare from Manchester (12 September 2015)
The cottage was very comfortable. Most of the equipment in the kitchen was available, things missing were a teapot, some sort of spatula/fish slice, sharp knives. Fridge/freezer a bit on the small side. My main concern was the gas hob on the cooker. It wasn't a safety cooker, in other words if you turn on the gas it immediately comes out of the pipes instead of waiting for the ignition to be ignited. A small child or even a distracted parent could turn the gas on and the gas would escape. The garden was excellent except for the fact you cannot access it straight from the house. You have to go through the front door and then through a side gate to get to it. Also it's not the sort of grassy area you can sit out in. The acre field was brilliant for our dogs. The property is quite remote, which is something we wanted, but a few niggling things just brought their marks down. I did have a word with the owners about these and hopefully they will address the problems. In all a pleasant stay and would stay there again. An added note, the owners are new to the letting side of things and any feed back to them was appreciated and taken on board. Eric from Liverpool (05 September 2015)
