Amazing cottage, one of the best i have stayed in. Mrs Mitchell (August 2017)
very nice property with many more home comforts than any other holiday home we have visited Mr Clark from Sheffiield (October 2016)
Fantastic! The perfect holiday location for the south coast, peaceful but easy access to so many places. Every little thing had been thought of and provided in the annexe. Very comfortable and safe and suitable for those who are not as mobile as they would like to be. Thank you for a perfect week. Mrs Parker from Clacton-On-Sea (October 2016)
A beautiful annexe in a convenient location. It had everything we wanted for a relaxing holiday. We definitely would like to go back there. Mr Short from Eastbourne (October 2016)
Very friendly folks, quality basic initial provisions provided. Comfortable, relaxing environment that even provided a bookshelf with good enough holiday reading material, and a fresh coffee machine which made me very happy each morning!! This is a beautiful part of our green and pleasant land which is seeped in history, we very much enjoyed exploring the West Sussex/South Downs area and the annexe provided us with the home comforts necessary for relaxing/resting after our adventuress days. Thank you to the owners Roger and Lindsay, we would certainly stay at Woodend Annexe again. Lou, Jayne and John McDermott. Mrs Mcdermott from Aldbrough (September 2016)
Wow What a fabulous place, one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in,all the finishing touches made our holiday even more enjoyable, we were even left an Anniversary card and bottle of bubbly which was very kind of the owners. We would be very happy to return here again and will be recommending it to our families and friends. Mr Rhodes from Ilkeston (September 2016)
A real home from home. Extremely friendly hosts and the cottage was everything we wanted for a week away and more Mr Boulter from Horsham (August 2016)
Everything we needed was provided plus a whole lot more. The owners were lovely and very understanding that my daughter was not fond of dogs and went out of their way to make sure that they didn't bother her. The cottage was extremely comfortable, a lovely relaxing holiday, just what we all needed. Mrs Jones from Northampton (July 2016)
This is a very well kept and equipped cottage. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. We would recommend Woodend Annexe as an excellent place to stay to discover the south coast area. Mr Jones from Tring (June 2016)
The standard of everything at Woodend Annexe was excellent and lots of lovely touches made it perfect. The cottage was first class and every thing was lovely and clean. I cannot fault anything. The owners were the perfect hosts. Miss Mackenzie from Fleet (June 2016)
Woodend Annexe was a home from home. The owners had thought of everything. The garden is beautiful and very private. Perfect for sitting in on a warm evening or having an Al Fresco breakfast. The whole experience was fantastic and we will be returning next year. I would wholeheartedly recommend Woodend Annexe to anyone who wants to stay in a home from home in beautiful surroundings. Ms Bradick from Blaydon-On-Tyne (June 2016)
A beautiful property in great location. The friendly and welcoming owners had thought of everything - all you need to bring are your clothes! Mrs Allison from Norwich (May 2016)
We have just spent a fantastic week at Woodend Annexe. We are three pensioners and I did ring Roger and Lyndsey before booking to clarify a few points. They were so helpful and the accommodation was ideal for our needs. The wet room downstairs was perfect. There are so many places locally both to eat and visit and there is information available in a well-presented booklet at the Annexe. It is just off the A27 and easy to find, although it is so peaceful there, sitting outside on the patio was our favourite afternoon activity, you would not believe you were so close to the road. The house was a veritable home from home, clean, well furnished and everything catered for. There was a welcome pack including bread, milk, orange juice etc but also a bottle of Prosecco and a card for my Mum's 90th birthday, such a nice touch. We go away every year with Mum and we are going to find it so difficult next year to find somewhere as good. Thanks for a lovely week guys!! margaretclincoln (May 2016)
We have never stayed in such a beautiful and well equipped cottage. The hosts were friendly and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect for us. The fixtures and fittings are of a very high quality. Mrs Franklin from Duault (February 2016)
The owner of Woodend Annexe was most welcoming & helpful. The property is in a very quiet & peaceful location. Convenient for travel east & west with both Chichester & Arundel nearby. Mr Rochester (February 2016)
The property was located in a great part of England with central access to Arundel, Portsmouth & Littlehampton. Woodend Annexe was perfect for our family, having two bathrooms was definitely a bonus. Mr Trimmer from Beckenham (August 2015)
A beautiful Cottage that is very clean and everything inside was of high quality. Lots of clean towels and bedding provided. I would highly recommend this Cottage to anyone. A lovely UK break experience. Mrs Storer from Egham (July 2015)
The best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in, very professional, very clean and very well situated for Arundel and the surrounding areas. We will be returning in the coming year, thank you! Mrs Storer from Egham (July 2015)
A beautiful setting for a lovely holiday. Will highly recommend to family and friends and hope to return. Mrs Bowen from Broseley (June 2015)
Liked everything! The owners & extended family were friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. The accommodation was superb and the setting was beautiful. Complete privacy in a small enclave of houses owned and lived in by the family. Mrs White from Banff (April 2015)
Private and secluded yet very close to all amenities. Lovely comfortable premises in a fantastic location and owned by a very friendly family who were keen for you to enjoy your holiday. They were pleased to offer any assistance you may need. Mr Polmounter from St. Austell (March 2015)
A perfect location to explore both the coast and countryside. Excellent if you are a horseracing fan - close to Fontwell and Goodwood racecourses. Property both clean and comfortable. Very friendly hosts. Mr Shorrocks from St Columb (November 2014)
Extremely well equipped - more comfortable than any other property we had stayed before! Top quality! Mrs Graf from Lemberg (October 2014)
Woodend Annexe superb; in small enclave of houses, but still totally secluded, though help from owner available if required. Mrs White from Banff (August 2014)
The hosts were very welcoming, the cottage was very homely and comfortable with everything that we needed and more. Lovely touch of the coffee machine, biscuits, bread, milk and juice on arrival. The outdoor area looked great, but the weather was a little bit against us to use it. Wifi was a bonus and enabled us to book the ferry whilst on holiday. There was plenty of parking and it was private and secluded, yet close to the major roads. A great location for exploring this area. We'd definitely recommend this property. Mrs Baxter from Boston (August 2014)
Great accommodation and owners most helpful. Good walks around and also convenient for Arundel sightseeing. A FlipKey verified reviewer (August 2014)
Nice holidays, nice people, nice place . Mrs Gupta from London (July 2014)
The cottage was absolutely everything we could have wished for. The owners could not have done more to make our holiday complete. The extra touches provided were just lovely and much appreciated. The location was just right for the places we wished to visit. We have booked with Sykes before but this is our best property to-date. Mr Tarbun from Braintree (June 2014)
The cottage was so secluded and away from it all. The owners were excellent hosts. All the furnishings and bed linen were of the best quality. All the major attractions of the area were easily accessible. We would recommend this cottage to anyone. Mrs Cox from Swaffham (May 2014)
One of the best cottages we have stayed at! Exceptionally provided with lots of little extras - from lovely welcoming flowers in the conservatory and a welcome pack of useful provisions to start us off. The décor of the house was lovely with very nice furniture and beds with quality linens. This all helped to make a very happy holiday. We also loved looking out on the very pretty garden. The situation of the annex is very good being accessible to so many interesting places and near beautiful countryside. Mr Cox from Letchworth Garden City (May 2014)
Lovely property in a great location. Owners live next door and are a great source of local information. Lots of extra little touches provided that made it a great place to stay. I would highly recommend a stay here. Mrs Lewis from Sutton (April 2014)
We had the best stay in Woodend Annexe we could have wished for. The cottage exceeded our expectations on every level. The owners are the perfect hosts, by no means intrusive but very helpful when needed. Woodend Annexe is spacious, clean and luxurious. Although there was only three of us (2 adults, one 5-year old), three more guests would have fitted easily. The cottage is nicely situated on a private road, with easy access to everything West Sussex has to offer. We can recommend a stay in Woodend Annexe to anyone. Mr Blaauw from Rotterdam (April 2014)
A superbly furnished and comfortable property. Very enjoyable. The owners were very attentive and helpful. I would love to go again. Mr Cook from Reading (March 2014)
I booked this for my husband and son as a cycling holiday. They were made very welcome by Lindsey and Roger on their arrival. The cottage was well appointed and equipped. There was food to get you started too. This is a family business and rest of the family live in the other cottages on the road. They were able to get some cycling in and walks of the surrounding area. They enjoyed their stay very much debsk9 (March 2014)
My wife and three children stayed at Woodend Annexe this year and I can't recommend it enough. The beautifully kept cottage is on a quiet tiny road in Fontwell next door to the owners, Lindsay and Roger and their extended family. Moving into Woodend for just a few days, we were treated like family. Lindsay and Roger were the perfect hosts, looked after us whenever we needed something and let us enjoy our break without intrusion. They were charming and so was Woodend. The decor is tasteful and luxurious and the finishing touches and the attention to detail were very much appreciated. The cottage was cosy but comfortably housed all five of us in three different rooms. Lindsay and Roger had thought of everything and had even supplied us with a decent cot and bedding for our baby. The location is perfect for day trips and walks and visits to Fontwell Park, Arundel, Chichester and so many interesting places in Sussex and it doesn't hurt to be a few minutes walk from a great pub "The Old Stables". We immediately felt at home here and are already planning our next trip. What's great is that Lindsay's daughter, Debbie, lives next door and has a fantastic beauty salon where you can book treatments / massages. My wife took advantage of this and was raving about it. We definitely felt spoilt and are so glad we found this treat. Hope it can become a regular stay. Thanks again Lindsay and Roger. PS. If you happen to be in Arundel, you must visit Castle Chocolates. The best sweets and chocolate we've had for years and the owner is a charming gentleman. LondonWriter (January 2014)
