We have just stayed in the stables for a week and it could not have been any better. The cottage has everything you could need. It is very spacious and clean. The views are amazing. The cottage is located in a lovely area and close to lots of the local attractions and places of interest. We will certainly be staying there again. The chickens are very entertaining. Thanks Amanda and Craig. Malcolm G (September 2017)
The scenery was amazing, lots of walks and cycle paths from your doorstep, there was so much to do and places to see we loved every minute. Mrs Grimes (September 2017)

Just finished a weeks stay here and can't praise this place enough. We are a group of blokes who go cycling one a year and have rented a few of this type of place over the years. This has definitely been the best so far ... IanfromTempland (September 2016)
Just finished a weeks stay here and can't praise this place enough. We are a group of blokes who go cycling one a year and have rented a few of this type of place over the years. This has definitely been the best so far. It is well equipped, clean, spacious and for us (needing easy access to cycle routes) ideally located. Nice quite location (apart from the sheep) has a secure lockup for our bikes and a nice view from the patio when relaxing with a beer after a days ride. The owners are very pleasant and helpful, and thoughtful too, we arrive to find milk in the fridge, plenty of tea and coffee and a lovely lemon drizzle cake waiting for us. Highly recommended, and I would certainly go back. IanfromTempland (September 2016)
An absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning location, with everything we needed and more supplied. Highly recommended, we didn't want to come home! Mrs Rawcliffe from Yateley (July 2016)
Wonderful spacious and light cottage. Lovely garden with seating and amazing views. Lots of local wildlife and an ideal base to explore the area. Mrs Marshall from Pontarddulais (July 2016)
This was probably the best cottage we have ever rented. The accommodation was generously sized and the garden and distant views were memorable. The quality of the kitchen and utility room equipment was far higher than expected. The owner was friendly but discreet. Very highly recommended. Mr Bailey from Brighton (July 2016)
The Stables is a beautiful place to stay. It is immaculate inside and has a lovely garden. Everything you could need was thought of and supplied. We had plenty of space for us all and a perfect location for many wonderful days out. We would highly recommend it. Mrs Elliot from Beccles (June 2016)
Stunning location and beautiful accommodation, would highly recommend it. Mr Gannon from York (March 2016)
We liked the fact that you could walk from the door, without taking the cars. The beds were lovely and the owner was extremely friendly. It was such a pretty area and will be one of the reasons for returning. Mr Bray from King'S Lynn (March 2016)
Wonderful welcome, friendly owners and a very cosy cottage. We really enjoyed our break - Thank you! Mrs Waller from Birmingham (February 2016)
Clean and full of everything we needed. Comfortable beds and perfectly situated with walking out the door. Would definitely recommend. Mrs Boulden from Oxted (October 2015)
This cottage is in a peaceful and beautiful setting, and is well equipped and well thought out. The location makes exploring Edale and the surrounding area really easy. The photographs on the website don't do justice to the space and excellent standard of the property, especially the main bedroom. All the equipment provided was of a really high standard in comparison to other places we have stayed in. We would highly recommend this property. Mrs Lees from Dereham (June 2015)
This was a gorgeous cottage in a gorgeous location! It was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. The views were stunning and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. I couldn't recommend enough! Ms Nicholas from Manchester (May 2015)

Liked all of it. Kids loved the chickens roaming around. Lots to do. Cottage was beautiful and cosy. Lovely walks straight onto the hills from the property. Mrs Gibson from Middlesbrough (February 2014)
The cottage was located in the most beautiful spot with hills all around! We did not need to drive anywhere to walk, and we had the most stunning walks! We loved the cottage itself, and looked forward to getting back to its warmth and comfort. Mrs Liggitt from Ely (December 2013)
