The shower was a little tricky being quite small with nowhere to put your soap etc, but the bed was super comfortable and the electric wall heaters warmed up the cottage very quickly when we arrived. We were welcomed and shown where to park. Getting back out on to the main road can be tricky - we were very grateful for the mirror to see what was coming! Ms Andrews (March 2019)
We had a comfortable stay. It is easy to visit all the local attractions and towns from the Old Dairy. I would certainly visit Kent again as there is so much to do. The old dairy met our expectations. Mrs Cobbold (August 2017)
Facilities - only reason for reduced score was lack of washing machine and bath (and the shower was slightly temperamental) - but they did offer a laundry service :-) Location - only reason for reduced score was lack of pavement just outside the property, which made guiding my (blind) partner safely rather nerve-wracking, plus the village shop (only one, I think) REALLY didn't have much good stuff in it, so getting any provisions involved a car trip, which we didn't envisage..but that's nobody's fault. :-) Lastly, I missed seeing the "welcome folder" with all the details for the first half of our stay. Once found, it was very helpful - but can I suggest it's left on the coffee table, where it'd be more obvious? These are all minor points, though - only made as I believe (hope) that feedback is helpful.. The place was lovely and welcoming and very comfortable! :-) Regarding publishing this, you can if you want to.. and feel free to edit if needed. I wouldn't PARTICULARLY like you to, but I don't mind. Mr Hughes from Dartford (October 2016)

Everything was excellent and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We had great holiday, a fantastic base for exploring northern Kent A FlipKey verified reviewer (August 2014)
Lovely comfortable accommodation, very welcoming on arrival . This property was a very good base for touring around the area. We chose to use our car as we like to explore and find new places. If however you don't want to use your car then there is a very good bus service. Mrs Holmes from Chesterfield (June 2014)
Excellent weather for a start, good position of cottage for the use of the very good bus service to visit many places. Very welcoming and friendly owners with helpful suggestions. Mr Brauns from Newcastle Upon Tyne (June 2014)
We used this place as a base to go out on day and half day trips arourd Kent. The old dairy was just right for the two of us,we used the decked area to sit out on for meals and just to relax. The accomodation was very clean and well equipped for two people. The village shop has the basics (wine, food, papers ETC).There are two pubs in the village, neither do food .We found some good places to eat in Herne bay and Whitstable. We used the bus to go to Canterburry and back, didn,t cost very much more than the car park would have cost for the day. Kent has lots of small town that are full of history ,well worth a visit, we intend to use the old dairy again A FlipKey verified reviewer (October 2013)
Very nice owners who live next door. An excellent free house 2 minutes walk away the Butchers arms is a must if you like real ale. the old dairy is well located for the attractions of Canterbury and Whitstable. we enjoyed our stay. A FlipKey verified reviewer (August 2013)

The Old Dairy was comfortable and cosy, the owners were very friendly and helpful. It was a very good base from which to tour North and East Kent. The Butcher's Arms was a most unusual pub for us but a delight. Mr Young from Amersham (March 2011)
The area was lovely and very convenient to pubs. Taking the bus to Canterbury was much better than driving there. There was a lot to see and do. Mrs MacMillan from Helsingor (July 2010)
This is our fourth time using Sykes listed accommodation and we are delighted with the consistent high standard of the cottages. The owners on this occasion, were extremely helpful in every way and we can not praise them highly enough. Well done to Sykes, again! Mrs MacLeod from Isle Of Lewis (July 2010)
A lovely, cosy, little love nest and the owners were so helpful and kind, kept a discreet distance to allow us our privacy. There with anything we needed, all in all a fantastic little hideaway with excellent access to all the beaches. The garden was delightful. Ms Weston from Rickmansworth (June 2010)
There was a large crack on the underside of the toilet seat -must have been like that for a while as it was discoloured, as was the sealant around the bottom of the toilet. Also the DVD player didn’t work wouldn’t play any of the films, there’s or our own. Customer 26
The cottage was clean, comfortable with everything you needed.the flowers and cakes were a lovely touch Customer 27
can get to anywhere if you want to use the buses, having a bus pass is great, and a very good service, right outside the dairy. hearne bay is really nice, broadstairs, and canterbury. the owners are really nice, and the children, and 2 chickens. we had a really good time. Customer 28
The cottage is a bit on the dark side and you need the door open to get enough light in. The television sound control is a bit low and if the kettle was boiling you could not hear the television. Customer 29
Chose the coldest March to visit but Old Dairy warm and comfortable. Great patio area in large garden with many birds, squirrels and wonderful stars on a clear night. Lady of the house greeted us with good advice on local area. Would recommend wholeheartedly Customer 30
