Our 2nd visit to The Nook it just felt like coming home . Lovely friendly helpful people when we were out on our numerous walks. Sue the housekeeper is very friendly. Mrs Remblance (November 2017)
Sometimes pet friendly apartments can be a little More difficult to keep clean but no problems here it was spotless. With two reception rooms a dining room reasonable sized kitchen and three double bedrooms it was a comfortable base. Not too far from the beach but on a hill so could be a difficult walk for the elderly or disabled. The garden was a reasonable size with a patio and nice table and chairs set. Pet safe for all but the smallest of dogs which could possibly get under the gate but easily solvable. Overall very good. mark f (June 2017)
It was a wonderful cottage but I would of liked to have known it was a very steep walk to and from the beach, it was a real struggle Miss Barber (February 2017)
What a lovely place to stay So cleanloads of space lovely and warm and well equipped felt at home as soon as we walked in. Ideal location for shops , takeaways and the local pub everyone is so friendly Benllech beach is a lovely beach and when the tide is out it is a lovely walk around to Red Wharf Bay , I have never seen so many shells. A few drives out to Newborough,Moelfre,Beaumaris and Cemaes gave us some lovely places of interests and history and lovely walks with only staying a week there are plenty of more walks still to do so we will have to return . Mrs Remblance from Macclesfield (November 2016)
We have now stayed at The Nook for the last five years it is a very well maintianed property and a credit to the house keeper Sue. We have already rebooked for next year. Mrs Kearns from Manchester (October 2016)
Had another great stay at The Nook, it is everything you need for a holiday. A fantastic cottage with a great garden for dogs and children. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and local shops. Mrs Hogg from Manchester (June 2016)
The Nook is well placed for visiting lots of beaches and there are food shops and takeaways close by, which helps when self catering. The Nook is not overlooked and is very quiet and safe for the family dog. There are spectacular beaches nearby, especially Llanddona. We have booked again for next year and cant wait! Mrs Hudson from Wrexham (May 2016)
The Nook was a home from home and wanted for nothing! It was very relaxing and the local amenities were excellent. Beautiful landscape and lots of things to do. Mr Mason from Bourne (February 2016)
The house was spacious, warm, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything a cook could need and more. I've never been in a kitchen so well equipped and there is plenty of space in all the rooms. It was a lovely place to stay as all the rooms are beautifully decorated. The beach is ten minutes walk, Tesco, pub, fast food outlets are all within walking distance. A bonus is you can sit in the front garden and have sea views and there are sea views from nearly all rooms. Mrs Mcfarlane from Wigan (November 2015)
We stay in The Nook every November and have always really enjoyed our holiday. The accommodation is in a lovely little village with everything you need close by. The property is of a high standard and spotlessly clean. The property now benefits from having the internet, which we found useful when planning trips out. The enclosed back garden is great for our dog as we do not have to worry about him getting out. Mrs Kearns from Manchester (October 2015)
The property was in a great location, situated just off the main road, but not too noisy. Benefited from an enclosed garden where pets could roam freely in safety. Ideal for children too. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The local amenities were great. We would definitely recommend this to friends/family. Mr Mcentee from St Helens (July 2015)
The Nook is a lovely cottage in a perfect location. The interior is modern and the layout beautifully designed. The Nook is very spacious with plenty of space for the whole family to relax in comfort. The beach is stunning and only a short walk from the cottage. A wonderful holiday with lots of happy memories- thank you! Mrs Cooper from Stockport (June 2015)

A very homely cottage in an excellent location for exploring the island, and had great walks right from the door. The enclosed garden was secure which is important for our dog and there were plenty of dog friendly beaches close by. All amenities are a short walk from the cottage and the WiFi was very useful. Mrs Trotman from Birmingham (May 2015)
The cottage was perfect for the 6 of us, roomy and in a fab location. Mrs Close from Newton-Le-Willows (May 2015)

A lovely cottage in perfect location, with beach and coastal walks on the doorstep. Mrs Jee from Stockport (October 2014)
The Nook is an excellent property. It was so close to all amenities, shops, cafes, beach etc., but it was also quiet. I know we were a little out of season but it was so relaxing. We were three ladies holidaying and it couldn't have been better. Well done Sykes Cottages. Mrs Robinson from Wirral (September 2014)
The accommodation was excellent for all our needs and location was great for both the village and touring the island. Mrs Staniforth from Rotherham (September 2014)
A perfect location ideal for our dog and ourselves, close to pub and shops. Mr Miller from Sheffield (June 2014)
A super house in a super location near beach, shops and with a lovely garden with patio furniture, an excellent place. There was loads of room in the house for relaxing; one living room for the grandchildren to play the X Box, and one living room for the adults to lounge. The bedrooms are a really good size and are equipped very well. We all want to go back next year. Mr Hibbert from Knutsford (May 2014)
Fantastic Cottage, lovely beach. Great shops close by everything you need in a cottage, good garden for dog. Will be booking again for next year. Mrs Hogg from Manchester (April 2014)

Our stay at the Nook was fantastic from the moment we contacted the owner regarding the collection of the keys to the moment we left. The kitchen was very well equipped, everything we could have needed. Lots of space to spread out and leaflets on all the local attractions along with comments from other guests. Mrs Kearns from Manchester (November 2012)
A lovely cottage. Ideal for a relaxing family holiday. Dr Armstrong from Manchester (October 2012)
We have been going on self-catering holidays for the past 13 years and this is one of the best. Spacious, great amenities - everything to keep a family going. Cannot find fault and will be making another booking for next year! Mrs Cotton from Derby (July 2012)
A lovely property in a great location. Loved it so much we would be happy to live in it. Mrs Williams from Northwich (April 2012)
Excellent location and a superb property. The spacious king size bed was a real bonus - this should be commonplace in all holiday cottages! The beach and amenities are a 5 minutes walk away. I would recommend this property to anybody wanting to stay in the area. Many thanks, we will certainly be looking to rent The Nook in the future. Mr Wesley from Derby (April 2012)
Excellent property, very well furnished and maintained. A real home away from home. We will definitely return. Mrs Leadsom from Lancaster (March 2012)
The location to the bay. Lovely quiet, peaceful cottage despite being just off the main road. Mrs Van Den Berg from Bolton (February 2012)
We stayed for a long weekend with our friends. Cottage permits dogs so Boris the jack Russell came too. The cottage is spotless. In a great location off the main road through Benllech but nice & quiet. A 10 minute stroll to the beach where, at low tide, you can walk for miles. (It does involve walking up & down a hill though so this may be difficult for anyone with significant mobility problems) The cottage was well equipped with a bright & airy kitchen diner. Seperate dining room as well. We purchased coal from the local garage across the road & lit the fire every night. Beds were comfortable. Bedrooms were large but watch your heads on the sloping ceilings! It's a loft conversion so does have quirky sloping ceilings. Enclosed rear garden means dogs can be let out without them sneaking off to the local chippy, which was delicious. Would definitely go again. tulip (February 2012)
We had a great weeks weather for January, sunny and cold at night. The cottage was lovely, warm and comfortable to come back to after a day walking the coastal paths with our black Lab. Mrs Dawson from Chorley (January 2012)
A really lovely property set in a great location with great views - it must look truly wonderful when the sun shines. Mr Gurrell from Liverpool (October 2011)
Fabulous week away in great location, close to sea. Accomodation excellent, very welcoming in all aspects A FlipKey verified reviewer (October 2011)

The property gave the impression that the owner actually cared that the guests had a good stay! House was immaculate in condition, cleanliness and décor and really made our holiday! Mr Hurst from Maidenhead (July 2011)
The cottage was lovely with an enclosed garden making it safe and dog friendly. Benllech was a beautiful place with easy access to shops. Dog friendly. Mr Jones from Manchester (July 2011)
An ideal centre for visiting Beaumaris, Caernarfon and Snowdon. The scenery was wonderful also the nearby Benllech beach. Mrs Voss from Oldbury (July 2011)
Location is a lovely place only 10 minutes from the beach, shops, pub and food take-away. All within walking distance. Ms Logan from Telford (June 2011)
The house is in a lovely little village with everything you need close by. It is beautiful, with plenty of room for everybody as there were 5 adults and a German Shepherd dog in our party. It was very much a 'home from home'. Mrs Hale from Stourbridge (June 2011)
