The owner is very helpful indeed and was so accomodating with the dogs providing them with extra areas to exercise, inside and on their land with a lovely walk. She even looked after the dogs when we were at a wedding! Such a great service - and we are so thankful! ... Mrs Hunnybun (March 2019)

Great location just would not re book as do not visit same place twice, Mrs Cook from Grantham (September 2016)
The Dairy at Forest Lane Farm is a cozy self-catering cottage that suited our needs for the week right down to the ground. The views are outstanding, the facilities were as outlined and very good. WiFi connection excellent as was the sleeping! Located not far from Tideswell where you'll find excellent fish & chips at the Corner Chippy and a lovely pint at the close to town Anchor. The owners of the cottages could not be beat. Always right there when you needed any assistance at all. We were never made to feel that we were a bother in the least. I truly wanted to take their gorgeous horses Larry and Frankie home with me. We had a great time and a good stay! Chris K (September 2016)
Ideal location for our holiday and easy distance from tourist attractions. Peaceful and picturesque surroundings. Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Hope to return again soon. Mrs Llewelyn from Clynderwen (July 2016)
We were greeted soon after arriving. The owner was very friendly and offered help in whatever way we needed. It was a beautiful cottage which was situated in a quiet area of natural beauty, yet was within a short distance of a main road. An excellent centre for everything and a most comfortable cottage. We could not have been more satisfied. Ms Marsden from Norwich (June 2016)
A very good location for a walking holiday (many good walks start a short drive away). The owner was very helpful. The bath with plenty of hot water was much appreciated after a day's walking. Mr Knight from Upminster (May 2016)
The cottage was close to many things to do despite our travels in January. It was clean comfortable and warm. Mr Pollnow from Allenton (January 2016)
We felt welcome right from the start. Heating and lighting were on as we arrived on a cold, rainy evening. When my husband mentioned that the only thing missing was a clock in the lounge one had magically appeared when we came back that day. The view was very restful and the location quiet. Mrs O'hara from South Croydon (November 2015)
A fabulous location looking out over peaceful farm fields. It was very well located for access to major roads in the Peak District, yet tucked out of the way. Our hostess was delightful, and extremely helpful. We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend The Dairy. Mr Ross from Cheltenham (September 2015)

Superb location with excellent views across the countryside. Central for everywhere we wanted to go. The Dairy was equipped with everything you could possibly need and was comfortable, warm and cosy. The owners were so very welcoming and helpful we could not have wished for a more friendly atmosphere and they even offered help with access if it was necessary as the snow was very deep. Mrs Mann from Halesworth (January 2015)

Lovely setting , ideal location for touring the area. Customer 22
It was absolutely fantastic. The cottage was beautiful, nicely decorated, in a beautiful location, clean, nice big bathroom, we had all the utensils we needed to cook, shared utility room, much more than we expected. I always get worried about getting cold at night, but the place was nice and warm I didn't get cold at all. The view was the best part for me; looking at the sheep in the field through out the window, when we were seating at the table, was very relaxing and made feel happy. Wendy - the owner - was fabulous, she would answer our messages or phone calls very quickly and was always keen to help. We took with us our new puppy - Osito - and she was very kind and helpful as to what was needed for him. She even looked after Osito a couple of days when we couldn't take him with us in our daily trips! She also gave us some good advice about places to visit. We also found lost of information in the cottage about he local and not so local attractions. We had some really nice food in the pub nearby. We all enjoyed the walks around the fields. The landscape when we were driving around was amazing. Thanks Wendy, we had a great time! Customer 23

We booked The Dairy for three nights in March 2018. We needed to change our booking to a day earlier. we spoke to the owner and she was extremely helpful. We arrived for our first night, the cottage was lovely and clean and warm and cosy. The owner called in to see if everything was ok for our family. We had heavy snow whilst visiting and the owner kindly cleared the snow for us so that we could get home. We would love to stay in the cottage again and appreciate the beautiful countryside and the lovely village of Tideswell. The Peak District is stunning. Customer 28
