This is the second time I've stayed at Tahoe. It has a lovely homely atmosphere and is very warm and cosy in January. The garden on an upper level would be great in summer. It is well equipped and is in a good central location for touring the Peak District and has great walks from the door. Tideswell is a very friendly village with a good shops, bank and several pubs. Hope to return again. Mrs Bannock from Norwich (January 2016)
A very warm and comfy cottage in a lovely part of the country, kept in immaculate condition. Mr Hodgkinson from Winsford (November 2015)

It was spotlessly clean and towels and tea towels were provided. The cottage was central for where we wanted to visit, there were beautiful walks, plenty of places to eat out, shops and pubs. The very friendly people in the village made us feel welcome. Mr Belcher from Faringdon (May 2015)
It was a really good cottage, had a really nice time. Mr Bond from Burntisland (February 2015)
The cottage was very clean, well equipped and spacious with good quality furnishings and appliances. The location was perfect. Quiet, yet the facilities of the well served village were a ten minute walk away. There was easy parking on the street opposite the cottage. It was an excellent, central base for visiting all areas of the Peak District, and with lovely walks from the door. Would highly recommend and would like to return in the summer months. Mrs Bannock from Norwich (January 2015)
Over the past few years we've stayed in quite a few different places in the Peak District. All have been good experiences overall. Tahoe in Tideswell, however, was really good! The house itself is very comfortable, with everything provided that you could possibly need. Indeed, it feels far more like a home than a holiday let. The village too is interesting - not too touristy, good choice of pubs/food, and very friendly locals. Certainly would like to return in the not too distant future! CherylandRoy (September 2014)
The cottage was very cosy, quiet and relaxing with ample rooms all of which offered a different experience. Mr Goggin from Preston (August 2014)
Great cottage in a superb location. A cosy cottage, would book again. Mr Heaps from Worksop (June 2014)

lovely cottage & village :) plenty of room for 4 adults & one dog. Big lounge room & separate sunny reading room, open kitchen & quaint garden. Great area with lots to see & do. One day it rained & we visited local caves. Natalia (September 2013)
The cottage was in a fantastic location, with plenty of walks nearby. We also really liked the village. It was all fantastic. Mr Houghton from Shrewsbury (August 2013)
The cottage is in a great location for the Peak District, and the cottage itself is overall to a good standard. The raised back garden is very unusual, but when sunny, an absolute sun-trap and a great place to relax after a days walking. Mrs Gibson from Attleborough (August 2013)
A lovely cottage, near to the shops and village Mrs Raude (July 2013)
Very nice cosy cottage with everything you need. The owner was very helpful. Set in a lovely village with lots of amenities.. Paula (July 2013)
Had a really good week in this very well positioned (on the outskirts of Tideswell - which is a small village). Very quiet and picturesque setting. Cottage was very well appointed with everything that you need for a holiday stay and then some. Particularly enjoyed the large selection of climbing and walking books in amongst the large collection of literature available for reading. Didn't need the TV at all! Lovely warm cottage. Didn't need the fire with good heating on a cold and snowy Easter. Nothing to complain about at all. A FlipKey verified reviewer (June 2013)
A great cottage with a large variety of interesting booking and a nice little conservatory to read them in. Dr Buckle from Hereford (March 2013)
Wonderful little cottage which had everything we needed to make our stay more than comfortable. The owner was more than helpful and even provided fresh milk, coffee and biscuits on our arrival. Tideswell is a lovely village with good pubs and friendly locals. The walks from the doorstep are a must and we would certainly like to return soon to explore the area further. ian1963186225 (March 2013)

Very good shops nearby and the local people were helpful and friendly. It's in a good central position for getting around. Mrs Howchin from Colchester (May 2012)
A warm, comfortable cottage with a garden for the dog. Lots of extras provided in the kitchen which was welcoming, especially the tea, milk and biscuits which went down well after our journey. The village provided for all of our needs and the cottage was well situated to explore the peaks. We hope to return next year and would recommend it to friends. Mr Hinds from Cromer (February 2012)

Tahoe was an ideal place to stay if you are looking for a very comfortable, well equipped cottage in a quiet location yet close to all amenities. You can walk from the door straight into the wonderful Derbyshire countryside and there are plenty of places to visit too. We were warmly welcomed and the neighbours were also friendly. I am loathe to sing its praises too highly as we would love to return again and again but fear it will be fully booked! A FlipKey verified reviewer (August 2011)

The cottage is in an excellent location for enjoying the best of the Peak District. Tideswell is a lovely 'proper' village. Everything you need is on your doorstep - bakers, grocers, convenience store and pubs serving excellent food. The cottage is in a little terrace and the neighbours were lovely and friendly, as was the owner. There were lots of thoughtful personal touches in the cottage that we particularly appreciated.
