A nice welcome gift of milk biscuits tea and coffee.Thank you. Mr Tarplee (March 2019)
Close to high street with wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Only down points were the parking around property, although it is free it is very sparse, making it difficult to park close to cottage and it was initially tricky to find the cottage as directions were not clear to look for alley way and the entrance gate to alley is pinned open so sign with cottage number is not visable from the road. Miss Crampton (March 2019)
There was a train line near the cottage and road traffic noise, both did not affect ourselves but some light sleepers may be affected Mr Burgess (December 2018)
There were 2 hand towels & 2 small bath towels. We spoke to Eileen who told us there were beach towels in a chest in the bedroom. We used these as they were newer although they were the same size & still too small. We could also hear noise in the lounge from the micro brewery behind the cottage (shared back wall) & also hear people actually using the toilet which was rather disconserting. Mrs Clemmet (September 2018)
However the parking there is a nightmare we were very lucky during the week but it could have easily been much worse. Whitstable lovely place to visit. Mr Read (September 2018)
Directions were not too clear as the property is behind another in a road with no name plate, even one of the locals didn't know it was there! Everything was on our door step with plenty see, do and eat! Mrs Richardson (September 2018)
The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and came with an added treat - a free drink at the neighbourly Handsome Sam micro brewery just round the corner - you can't get a better introduction to the gorgeous community of Whitstable. We enjoyed our stay so much we will definitely be returning soon. Mrs Acklam (August 2018)
Everything was there to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Couldn’t have been better located for us. A very pleasant walk down the high street with all the boutique shops and restaurants to the harbour. Would definitely recommend! Mrs Smith (July 2018)
The cottage is beautifully well maintained and continues to keep many original features. Very clean throughout. Also a gorgeous little garden with patio table and chairs which was lovely to sit out in with one of the many books the cottage keeps, along with dvds, to borrow during your stay. Many thoughtful welcome touches such as milk, tea and coffee were great after a long journey down. The landlord and property management were very quick at getting back in touch via phone. Ms Frost (July 2018)
The cottage was great it was clean not far from shops and place's to eat and drink had a great Holiday Kind Regards R Long Mr Long (June 2018)
Yes after our previous experiences definitely disappointed and one of our most expensive, I have photos if you require them Mrs Chapman (June 2018)
the tv picture starts to scramble after a short time. the sofa is at right angles to tv and very unconfortable. the garden could be pretty if not overgrown with weeds. Mr Mills (May 2018)
Busy weekend destination for sea food lovers, nice local restaurants and bars. Lots of pleasant walking trails on door step. Parking could be restrictive, although we were lucky enough to find a spot each day, by parking mid-afternoon. Mr Scragg (April 2018)
