The chalet, Birch Lodge, was an excellent getaway venue, it was clean, comfortable and well presented. We will be booking another stay at Charlcot Lodges later in the year. Customer 2 (24 February 2024)

Nice quiet spot and we will return. The room arrangements and facilities were fine. The peace was excellent, apart from the woodpecker knocking on the roof each morning. Entertainment value was very good, The TV's picked up all the channels without interference, and the Wi-Fi and Mobile signals were particularly good. I know some reviewers commented on poor reception for those, but we had no trouble. For anyone new to the Dales, this is an ideal spot to make short jumps to the most popular sites and walks in the area. If you can't get booked in here, you'd be encouraged to find somewhere near.
