It is, by far, the cleanest and most well appointed holiday home I have ever stayed in. The hosts were friendly and helpful. It's in a quiet location if you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Just watch the low beams! Mrs Oliver (July 2021)
But we knew there were stairs, and I blame my old knees, not anyone else. Otherwise the cottage was lovely and the garden very lovely. We would highly recommend it to family and friends. Mr Edwards (July 2021)
The garden of the cottage and the owners house next door is beautiful . The owners Debra and Ian are very helpful and friendly. We would certainly consider returning in the future and would highly recommend this property to any couples looking for a quiet place to spend their holiday Mrs Fielder (July 2021)

It was scrupulously clean, very well equipped and there was nothing we could fault. It was so relaxing being able to sit in the wonderful garden after a day out. The owners were extremely welcoming without being at all intrusive. We'd definitely recommend the cottage. Mrs Woodhurst (April 2021)
Could have spent more time in the hosts garden if time had permitted. Will be sure to return. Mr Avant (April 2021)
A great quiet location on the very edge of this small village, and with a lovely cottage garden in which to enjoy the sun. We found the bed to be probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in, leaving you feeling very refreshed in the morning. Ian and Debra live in the attached cottage and are available if you need anything and make for great hosts. All in all a lovely peaceful cottage in a great place Mr Briant (October 2020)

Everything was very comfortable, lovely bedding and towels. Everything we needed. Would recommend cottage. Lovely watching all the different birds at the feeders, pheasants and deer's. Thank you. Mrs Akeister (March 2019)
What a gem of a cottage ... Icelady008 (January 2019)
What a gem of a cottage! The owners have carefully and thoughtfully restored this little cottage and made it into a beautiful property for two. It was spotlessly clean throughout, bedding, towels, sumptuous. Everything you need and more. Private parking, private entrance and private garden.very comfortable bed. The only one thing I would change would be the sofa. There is a cottage suite which is totally in keeping and very comfortable but not the type of sofa you can snuggle up on. Other than that this a a real gem of a cottage and one that we wouldn't hesitate to return to (and I AM fussy!) one word.... Perfect! Icelady008 (January 2019)
We have been back twice now. We used to live in this area and it’s ideal for visiting friends and family who still live here. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and immaculately clean. Debra and Ian, the owners, live next door and have lovingly restored the cottage. It’s a real chocolate box cottage outside and full of beams and old world character inside. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and have everything you need for a really comfortable stay. The garden is full of birds, squirrels and the odd deer. The cottage is on a bus route between Kings Lynn and Spalding, both lovely towns with plenty to do. Snettisham bird reserve is not far and wonderful to watch the geese, while Sandringham is also only a short drive away, we really miss all the walks in the woods there. Debra and Ian make you feel very welcome and are on hand if you need anything. You can’t go wrong with Mrs Dale! Customer 24
So refreshing to stay in a cottage with all the character retained with just the right ammount of modern necessities. It was wonderful to see the photo diary of the work undertaken here. The cottage was absolutely spotlessly clean right through and the bed was a struggle to get out of because it was sooo comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights over the new year break and the added little extras made it even more special down to some xmas decorations in the lounge and outside. The only thing i would change would be the settee, whilst the one that was there is totally inkeeping with the character and is comfortable, you can't snuggle up on it and lounge....but maybe thats just us. In all, to put it simply... Perfect.! Customer 25
The owners were very friendly and available to cater for our needs. The cottage was clean and suitable appointed and just a few minutes drive from Kings Lynn and the necessary shops. There was plenty of information about places of interest at the cottage and Debra seem to have thought of everything to make our stay a happy one. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wishes to stay in the area. Customer 26
It’s a little cottage next to the owners cottage. They are on hand if you need anything, we didn’t, the cottage is so well equipped and cosy. Debra keeps the cottage immaculately clean but her love for the cottage shows in every part of it. It’s in a lovely part of the country and I was watching the deer in the garden. We have just moved from the Norfolk countryside and I shall miss it, it’s so lovely. Please visit Mrs Dales Cottage, you won’t be disappointed, and Debra is really lovely. We will back. Customer 27
They offered use of their garden and told us to help ourselves to grapes and veg in green house. Home from home. Thank you Customer 28
The owners, Ian and Debra who live next door could not have been more welcoming or helpful, ensuring we had every thing we needed. Would certainly recommend to others. Customer 29
Debbie the owner lives next door, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Ideal for rest and relaxation. Customer 30
They also directed us to a fantastic local butcher, plus of course, things to see within easy reach. It all helped to make the holiday really relaxing. Customer 31
Friendly, helpful owners. We had a great week. Customer 32
The stairs are quite steep with narrow treads, so care is required. The fridge is small, so shopping has to be planned accordingly. The bird life is amazing! Also other wildlife eg bats, hedgehogs & deer have been seen on occasion. A good chip shop is only 100 yards away, also a well-stocked village shop/post office. Customer 33
A good layout with cosy living downstairs and large bedroom upstairs. We found everything we needed in the cottage, and the owners next door were very willing to help with any needs. Newly installed shower was one of the best we have encountered. Only concern were some low doorways, as you would expect in an old cottage, so being quite tall I needed to "duck" to pass through. Customer 34
Within striking distance of the North Norfolk bird sites with good walks in the local area. Customer 35
The owners, who live next door were very welcoming and helpful and so many extras were provided. It is a very relaxing place with a beautiful garden and every home comfort. Customer 36
A delightful cottage in a rural setting but near a bus route, shop and pub (and excellent fish and chip shop) and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others. We had a really enjoyable week there Customer 37
I lovely little cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Extras were provided by the owners who live next door such as bread, milk and butter. They were always on hand if needed. The property was very clean and the towels and bedding very good quality. Would recommend highly Customer 38
Plenty of extras were supplied in the cottage such as bread, milk and butter. The garden was not at its best due to the early season and the weather so go in summer if possible. It does say in the cottage description the pub and shop were five minutes walk, sorry more like fifteen. Customer 39
