We stayed here for a long weekend end of march with our 3 month old, two year old and two dogs. The cottage is brilliant well presented and had everything you need. James the host is lovely and helpful. Location is amazing can't fault it beautiful scenery and beach on the door step. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Only things I would recommend are a welcome pack would have been nice given the isolated location it's usually nice to have some tea bags and milk on arrival ... steff r (April 2019)
Position of cottage, the cottage with everything you would need , James ( the owner) was very accomodating Anglesey is beautiful Mrs Colbourn (March 2019)
Good parking for 2 compact/medium cars although access is via a very steep narrow lane.Cottage warm, very clean and well equipped. Direct access to beach and Coastal Path for excellent dog walking (note that some areas of Llandonna beach have seasonal dog restrictions). Mr Garfield (January 2019)
There were only three comfortable chairs in lounge although cottage for 4. No rugs/mats in the cottage. No fuel for the open fire. Nowhere to hang clothes or put cases in one bedroom, very small. No visitors book for comments recommendation other holiday makers. No additional bedding or blankets. No soap and very old towels. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen although only 4 of everything so if dishwasher on no plates cups available for use. Definitely not 5* I would say 3*. Definitely trading on position. Mrs Simms (May 2018)
All batteries recharged after this holiday. We will be visiting again. Mr Hallam (May 2018)
I can honestly say that it was the most relaxing holiday that we have ever had. The views out to sea from the garden are unreal and the sunset is wonderful. We have already booked again for this July Mr McDonnell (April 2017)

A beautiful position right next to the sea. A quiet secluded spot, a lovely spot to spend Christmas. We and the two dogs loved it. Cottage was warm throughout, heating as well as an open fire. Ms Martin from Liverpool (December 2016)
The views from the cottage are amazing. The cottage is perfect for walking, you are a few steps away from the beach, lovely walks nearby and very dog friendly. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and had everything you needed. We couldn't fault anything. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit angela w (November 2016)
Fantastic location, the cottage was extremely well position for the wonderful views of Wharf Bay,peaceful with breathtaking walks with the dogs across the the sands, bear in mind to take plenty of supplies as it is a good 4.5 miles to the nearest shop with some very narrow lanes to navigate, also the nearest Pub is about 1.5 miles up a very steep twisting single track lane, we didn't go because it was rather daunting the thought of walking up with 2 dogs on leads, but having said that, there was no need to leave the cottage, we had taken enough supplies to see us through the week and the peace was to die for. would with out doubt go again. Mr Young from Grays (September 2016)
Beautiful location and the owner very helpful. Mr Taylor from Manchester (September 2016)
Superb location and accommodation, the cottage was everything we wanted and needed. The rooms were very clean, well-presented, comfortable and warm. This is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The owner was very friendly, but did not intrude. The furniture was of good quality, and all matched! It was lovely having a coal fire. The sea views from the lounge, kitchen and main bedroom are just amazing. Being able to walks along the beach right outside the property was fabulous. Mrs Thomas from Rochester (December 2013)

A literal stones throw from the waters edge, this cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Ok, so the approach road is a little steep in places but this means that only those who need to, use it and this helps to keep it a hidden treasure. We went with two 9 year olds and they went in the water every day and also explored the rock pools. The beach is very safe and to hear the waves lapping the rocks at night was bliss. With an attentive on-site owner and views to die for, we have already booked to return next year. PER51 (August 2012)
The fantastic view and the proximity of property to the beach. Mr Renfree from Preston (July 2012)

Beautiful location, excellent views. Peace & quiet. Friendliness & helpfulness of the owner. Mrs Brocklehurst from Macclesfield (June 2012)
I thought the photos didn't actually do justice to the cottages. They are in a fabulous location and if you like a walking or birdwatching holiday in the off peak months it is fabulous here and I will be recommending it! Ms Barlow from Cirencester (January 2012)
Cottage was very clean and had all necessary facilities. Owners very helpful and friendly. Beach a few steps from cottage with a small cafe a short walk away for snacks and drinks. We liked the quiet location best and the steep hill the least, but what comes down must go up. A FlipKey verified reviewer (December 2011)

Due to a recent bereavement we were so grateful to have such a peaceful holiday. The owner was on hand and very friendly. We were made to feel at home from the begining, our two dogs loved it, the beaches are superb. We hope to return. A FlipKey verified reviewer (May 2011)
The service provided by the agents and the cottage owner (who lived next door) were brillient. The cottage was very cosy and we particularly liked the open log fire and the fact that we could switch the wall heaters on if we were cold without having to put coins in (as have done before). The owner had put a vase of flowers on the table as a welcome and the lack of 'house rules' everywhere made us feel at home. The location was outstandingly beautiful with the sea practically on the doorstep. Our two 'must haves' with a holiday cottage are seaviews and open fires which this cottage had. If there was one small gripe, I felt a little more attention to cleanliness could have been given. The plastic tray on the draining board was grimy so I put it to one side and did not use. I also had to clean the cutlery drawer and some of the large knives as they were dirty. The one toilet also needed a good scrub under the lid at the back. Apart from that, everything was perfect.
