Booking Fee plus commission is too high. Would shop around for a better deal Mrs Thatcher (March 2017)
Yet another lovely tranquil break. Looking forward to our next visit. Mr Venables (February 2017)
it was set a little out of the way but perfect views, and a perfect base for our holiday. the cottage had everything we needed, it was very clean and comfortable. well looked after, the owner was very nice . would recommend . Mrs Smith from Leighton Buzzard (August 2016)
We have stayed in many cottages across the country and this was without doubt the best, it was very clean and comfortable and the owners were very friendly. We will use this property again soon. Mr Hill from Doncaster (February 2016)
A lovely secluded cottage, excellent in every aspect. It was peaceful, quiet and cosy. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. A really lovely holiday. Mr Pratt from Littlehampton (December 2015)
The accommodation was just right - spacious for 2 people and as it appeared on the photos. The bedroom was airy yet cosy and the sitting room which was spacious with 2 sofas was the perfect size. Parking was close to the cottage. The cottage was nice and warm despite the weather! The location of the cottage close to Brimham Rocks is perfect. Mrs Lander from Cambridge (November 2015)
Cottage was one of the best in every aspect that we have rented on holiday. Mrs Parkington from Barrow-In-Furness (October 2015)
The views from the cottage and surrounding area were wonderful. The cottage had everything we needed for a cosy week in Yorkshire. Mr Essex from Colchester (July 2015)
A great cottage in a good location and would book again next year. Mr Ballans from Cleethorpes (June 2015)
A comfortable cottage with all necessary amenities including washing/drying machine. Had a nice view and was detached and not overlooked. A lovely rural location, but not too remote and a good centre for local country walks and exploring the area. Mr Evans from New Quay (May 2015)
Everything (cottage and location) was first class. Mrs Deans from Glasgow (April 2015)
The cottage was in a lovely area and so quiet. Highly recommended cottage, will be going back. Miss Brooks from Nottingham (April 2015)
This was our first stay at Fir Tree Stables and I can safely say it won't be our last. The cottage is in a fantastic location with stunning scenic views of rolling countryside, but never too far away from various locations of beauty to visit either. The décor and amenities at Fir Tree Stables are excellent and gave the whole experience an amazing homely feel. The owners are so friendly and helpful, and apply a "we are here if you need anything" approach which enables you to have a more relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Being able to take our loveable Staffie with us was a complete bonus also, as he was able to relax and enjoy the holiday as much as we did. Mr Warner from St. Albans (February 2015)
Our 4th visit in 16 months - that speaks for itself. Mr Venables from Crewe (February 2015)
It was an amazing place to stay in and was very well looked after. Mrs Golding from Portsmouth (January 2015)
This was our third stay in 13 months and it won't be our last visit. Had great views, was really relaxing and was spotlessly clean. Being dog friendly is a big plus. Mr Venables from Crewe (November 2014)
Excellent cottage in an isolated location, but close enough to the towns we wished to visit. Mr Shipman from Helensburgh (October 2014)
On arrival the whole feeling was of 'wow' - everything was laid out perfectly. The place was lovely and quiet and we would highly recommend. Perfect for reading and relaxing. The whole town was lovely and easy to access other towns, good pubs and chip shop! Mr Marshall from Bexleyheath (September 2014)
The cottage as a whole, the walks and the villages, the locals were warm and friendly. We had a great holiday. Mr Kerrigan from Doncaster (September 2014)
The cottage was clean and warm and cosy. It was very easy to feel at home there. Mrs Rolls from Brackley (August 2014)
beautiful accommodation, out in the country, nice & quiet, could not be better, loved everything about it A FlipKey verified reviewer (August 2014)
The owners were so friendly and welcoming and this was probably the most relaxing holiday we have experienced in the UK. The view from the cottage was absolutely excellent. The owners allowed you to go onto their property for walks and the fact that we could take our dog with us made the holiday. We will book there again in the future. Mrs Voakes from Hull (June 2014)
We enjoyed the holiday and especially the cottage which was excellent indeed. Mr Green from Bournemouth (April 2014)
We stayed at Fir Trees over the Easter holidays and loved it. Brilliant accommodation, lovely and clean, home from home. It was easy to find and got a lovely warm welcome of the owner. If you want a place thats nice & quiet then this is for you as there's nothing around it except lovely scenery and the birds singing. Yes there's local shops and Pubs but you have a 6 minute journey to get to these. The bed is so comfy and the shower is brilliant. Instant hot water and when the wind was blowing outside inside it was lovely and warm. A lovely place to stay and yes will be back for another break. The only down side is that there's no WiFi, yes I know I'm a saddo but some of us need it. Highly recommend this lovely property to any one who looks at it. GlitterMonkey (April 2014)
The location is very peaceful with fantastic views, close to many tourist attractions. We did not go more than 10 miles from the cottage but had days out at several different places. The owners are very friendly. They live on the farm so are immediately available if required. Mr Venables from Crewe (January 2014)
The cottage was lovely and warm. It suited us being disabled as it is on one level. We like the quaint villages in Yorkshire and often go there. Mrs Malone from Barrow-In-Furness (December 2013)
The most relaxing cottage we have stayed in. Very warm and cosy, and everything at hand. Ms Stewart from South Shields (November 2013)
The location was really peaceful, with a fantastic view. The cottage is immaculately presented. We were central to tourist locations in all directions. We will be staying again in 2014. Mr Venables from Crewe (November 2013)
The location and the property was ideal for 2 persons and a dog. Mr Hull from Tunbridge Wells (November 2013)
Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Plenty of interesting places to visit in the area. Mrs Flexmore from Buntingford (October 2013)
Easy to find with the post code in the satnav. Very clean and well equipped, plenty of china cutlery and glasses. Beds were comfortable and it was so quiet with virtually no passing traffic. Modern bathroom with a decent shower over the bath and plenty of hot water. Good parking. Well stocked shop in the village which claims to be open till late 7 days a week. Lots of places to visit without going too far or or course lots of walks from the front door for the energetic. We went into Pateley bridge each evening for our meal, a nice small town about 5 miles away. It would be nice to go back as there is still much for us to see. JB1936 (September 2013)
Nice location good views from the property. Spotlessly clean, loads of hot water, lovely shower and comfortable seating. Mr Burr from Ware (August 2013)
My wife and me enjoyed the idyllic cottage which had the most amazing views and warmest of welcomes from the owner. The area was very quiet but within easy car distance of many places of interest eg: Harrogate, Pateley Bridge, Knaresborough, York, to name but a few and the rest of beautiful Yorkshire. Mr Kirkpatrick from Lincoln (July 2013)
Our stay was amazing, in a beautiful cottage and views to die for. It was very well appointed and very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and approachable with nothing too much trouble. If you require peace and quiet away from the rat race this is perfect. Local shops and tourist attractions were within easy reach by car with many available walks for those who enjoy that sort of pastime. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, located in the middle of all that beautiful Nidderdale and Yorkshire had to offer. David K (July 2013)
Warm and friendly greeting soon after arrival. First class clean accommodation with every luxury. Situated in a beautiful quiet. Extremely high standard. Mr Lewis from Gainsborough (June 2013)
