It was warm, clean and comfortable. Ms Staple (March 2019)
Field view is a comfortable, cosy little cottage, set in a quiet and scenic location. It is beautifully decorated and furnished. Everything you could possibly need is provided - and more. The local Co-op and pubs are a few minutes walk away. Brilliant location for spending the days walking in the Peaks, followed by the pub for a well earned drink and then back to the cottage for food, board games and family time - perfect. Dr Smith (November 2017)
A super cosy cottage decorated to a high spec with homely finishing touches - thanks for letting us arrive an hour early it saved us waiting around! Ms Dwek (October 2017)
A lovely cottage accurately described. It is up a pretty steep slope - but worth it for the views from every window and the patio. Very comfortable and Bradwell is a great untouristy but pretty village from which to explore the Peak District. We thought it was great value for money and in a beautiful location. We wouldn't recommend this cottage for anyone with mobility problems or small children due to the access, garden drops and stairs but for everyone else you won't regret it. We had a great time. Mrs Stacey (August 2017)
A charming and delightful cottage with superb views. It was cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The bottle of wine and vase of fresh flowers were a lovely welcoming touch. Field View is in a great location. Bradwell is a lovely village with a fabulous bakery, and home of the delicious Bradwell Ice Cream as well as a fantastic choice of pubs to eat in. Everything you need is in the local shops. Great walks from the cottage too. Mr Fox (July 2017)
Very good cottage, in an amazing location in the peak district. Mr Baretto (June 2017)
The cottage was clean and well presented. A bottle of wine and chocolate on arrival was a nice touch. Mrs Pell-reynolds from Lincoln (October 2016)
A lovely quiet rural area with easy access to all the areas around the cottage. Mrs Cooper from Maidstone (August 2016)
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Field View. The cottage was warm, comfortable and well equipped, and we felt quite at home. We loved the view over Bradwell to the hills beyond. We did not know the area and felt we had made a great choice of accommodation and location. We would definitely return to this cottage and village. We were very impressed with the whole area. Mr Parker from Harrogate (May 2016)
The cottage was absolutely perfect - the view, the comfort and the village. We used the cottage as a base and went walking across the Peaks. The location is ideally central so we could easily access both Edale and Monsdale within a few miles. The owner was very helpful with keys and recommendations for eating. We are already talking about going back! Ms Hone from London (April 2016)
Location excellent for exploring Peaks and Sheffield. Local pubs very nice. Mrs Derby (April 2016)
The cottage was absolutely perfect - the view, the comfort and the village. Bradwell is so pretty with a local convenience store for groceries and a fabulous pub for food - highly recommended - Samuel Fox. We used the cottage as a base and went walking across the Peaks. The location is ideally central so we could easily access both Edale and Monsdale within a few miles. The owner was very helpful upfront with keys and recommendations for eating. We are already talking about going back! Miss Hone (April 2016)
Thank you for great holiday. It was a thoroughly well equipped & comfortable cottage! Miss Macpherson from Inverness (March 2016)
It was a perfect weekend in a nice house for us. We stay there in January with our daughter, she studies in Sheffield. The house was well heated and very cosy. The fitting of the kitchen was good, everything for cooking was there. Everything in the house was clean. The best thing was the fireplace in the living room! Mr Buecker from Telgte (January 2016)
A lovely cottage in a lovely village. Well furnished throughout and a great place to explore from. We will return. Mr Fraser from Sevenoaks (November 2015)
We are just back from a three day break in this lovely cottage. The pictures do not do it justice as it is far more cosy than envisaged; a real little hideaway. We would definitely go back again. Mrs Hadwin from Southport (November 2015)
Had a great time. Nice cottage in lovely village, would recommend. Mr Parris from Hertford (October 2015)
Excellent cottage in an ideal place to explore the Peak District. The cottage had absolutely everything we could have needed. The owners waited for us to arrive to ensure we found it okay. We were all very happy with my choice and I would recommend this cottage to anybody. Mr Enticott from Rugby (August 2015)
The cottage had great facilities and was very well situated with many walks and places to visit in the nearby area. The utility room was extremely useful and the furniture in the lounge was incredibly comfortable. Mrs Holloway from Polegate (August 2015)
The cottage was set in a perfectly idyllic village and was a fantastic base providing easy reach to local caverns and other attractions. Highly recommended. Mrs Tungate from Great Yarmouth (August 2015)
A warm, welcoming cottage in an elevated position above the village, with views from the garden. Mrs Clear from Cranbrook (July 2015)
We liked the cosy comfortable cottage. Had lovely décor and good quality furniture and fittings as well as a lovely outdoor space with wonderful views. We hope to return for another holiday. Mrs Foster from Hastings (May 2015)
It was a very cosy cottage, the views from the cottage were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Mr Knight from Arundel (May 2015)
The cottage was amazing, with brilliant views. It was in a good location, as we was training for a triathlon. We had some lovely rides through amazing scenery. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. Mrs Gilbert from Ely (May 2015)
The views from everywhere in the cottage were magnificent! Mrs Mills from Cardiff (February 2015)
The cottage was warm, clean and so inviting. We didn't want for anything and the views just finished it off for a great few days break. Mr Stennett from Nottingham (November 2014)
The cottage was perfect in every way. As soon as we arrived, we felt relaxed and 'at home'. A perfect start to a perfect weekend. Miss Piercy from Peterborough (November 2014)
A lovely cottage with everything that we needed. Really cosy and comfortable - we look forward to returning! Mrs Girtchen from Leeds (October 2014)
Field View was well kept and furnished. It was warm and cosy when we arrived. Lovely views of surrounding countryside. Mrs Law from Bristol (October 2014)
We stayed here over a weekend in October, greeted with a bottle of Pinot which got me on side straight away! Everything was spotless and seemed new- carpets still squishy! Very comfortable and had everything that you might need; from OS maps of area to a selection of DVDs. Gas fire in living room made it feel very homely. WiFi good throughout cottage. Lovely views from front of house over village with green hills behind- made washing up most enjoyable. Bathroom clean with good size bath and LOVELY hand soap! Village had everything we needed, Coop within walking distance. We tried the two closest pubs which were fine but nothing special, to be honest if (or when!) we stay here again would stay just stay cosied in or perhaps drive further afield. It was a good central location to drive to other places in the Peaks. A lovely cottage and lovely stay, thank you!! Ps - for next time an oven glove was the only thing missing :-) RachelAts (October 2014)
We had a lovely break, really homely! Only caveat would be that access for those with mobility issues could be an issue. Customer 31
..all amenities...only one small request.....bigger towels please ! Customer 32
Lovely cottage, lovely village and great pubs , what more could you wish for . Customer 33
Good quality bedding and extremely comfortable beds. Has Wi-Fi which the children were very happy about. It's the perfect place to stay when exploring nearby Castleton and walking stanage edge. Pun a 2 min walk away coop and chippy 5 mins away. We will be back again in the summer for sure. Customer 34
The cottage was very well kept, and all necessary instructions regarding our use of the cottage were most helpful. The gas fireplace made for cozy evenings in this somewhat unsettled weather - but we knew what to expect. Would definitely come back to this cottage again. Customer 35
Good amenities in the village with a shop & pubs. Great position for exploring Edale & Hope Valley area. Customer 36
Bradwell is a nice friendly village and a perfect base from which to explore the area. It's also just a few minutes drive to Hope train station. The accommodation was fine, the views excellent, the only minor issue is it could be a bit tricky to find if you arrived after dark and parking can be a little bit awkward. Customer 37
The cottage was spotless and beautiful. The wine and biscuits on arrival were a lovely touch and very much appreciated thank you! It is a very well thought through cottage with everything you could possibly need. The location is excellent for accessing all the Peak District has to offer and the views and walks in Bradwell itself made for great evenings. We would definitely return! Customer 38

Location was good for exploring the Peak District. Village Co-op very useful as it's open until 10pm seven days a week! Best all round local pub for food was The Anchor near Tideswell (3 miles from cottage). Cottage location is very quiet - just the sound of birds and the occasional vehicle. Customer 40
Easy access to Hope, Castelton and Edale; plus Buxton and Bakewell. Very good customer service from the owner and spotless, well-equipped and comfortable cottage. Customer 41
The cottage is really well appointed and is very warm and welcoming, with nice views over the valley. We can thoroughly recommend the local Bradwell's ice cream shop! Customer 42
