We enjoyed our first family holiday away at Feather Cottage. Very close to the local shops and surrounding countryside walks. Mr Collier-bolger (November 2017)
Amazing Mrs Lander (October 2017)
Just lovely, beautiful cottage, thank you for making it possible to enjoy so lovely a place! Thanks Anna. Mrs Lander (May 2017)
We enjoyed staying in this quirky little cottage! Perfect for a three-night Easter weekend away. Please be aware the steps are steep to the bedroom! Great location in a pretty part of Suffolk. The pub is a 15-20 minute walk away which serves lovely food and is dog friendly. Pheasants and peacocks aplenty! Miss Gregory (April 2017)
The description of availability of DVD as here wasn't one. It wasn't clear that the garden was not directly from the cottage. On a noisy holiday route road, everything we needed in the house and clear usage instructions. Nice location easy access to surrounding areas. Stairs were very steep so something for may be less mobile to consider. Overall an enjoyable weekend retreat Mrs Jones from Saffron Walden (November 2016)
Feather Cottage felt like an authentic Suffolk Cottage with period features. The open fire absolutely made the holiday for me. The kitchen was provisioned well with thoughtful extras and the bedroom was lovely with loads of extra blankets and a nice minimal amount of furniture. Mrs Clarke from Maldon (March 2016)
A good old fashioned cottage, ideal for a walking holiday on the coast and ideal for our two dogs. The neighbours were friendly and helpful. Mr Carden from Newport (January 2016)
A very charming little cottage. Miss Simon from London (May 2015)
The location was excellent for what we wanted to do. Although we were on a busy road, as advised, we were not disturbed and overall had an enjoyable week. Mr Clabby from Cottingham (February 2015)
Very nice cottage, relaxing holiday Mr Parkin from Rochford (September 2014)
The Cottage was old and quaint and in a nice location on the outskirts of the village, 5 minutes walk to local shops. There was plenty of local info and lots of footpaths around the village to walk the dog. In a good position for visiting all the popular tourist attractions in the area. Mrs Carroll from Stockport (August 2014)
The cottage itself was quirky and quite lovely. It was very well-equipped and we were lacking nothing. The village was friendly and local shops supplied most things you are likely to need. Many places of interest to visit without travelling too far, and a dog-friendly holiday that actually is dog-friendly. Pubs where the dogs get served first with free biscuits and plenty of water and where they are welcome to sleep under the table indoors while the humans eat dinner. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would certainly book the cottage again if staying in that area again. Mrs Dickson from Gloucester (July 2014)
Quirky cottage for 2 adults + 2 dogs max. Well-equipped and there was nothing we couldn't find. Difficult stairs, not suitable for the less agile. Small garden which suited us, situated down pathway. Road parking not ideal as situated on a rise and a bend, but the car remains unscathed. Very friendly area and good quality shops in village for meat and deli with small Mace. Nearest pub 20 min walk away. The lounge is dark in the late evening as there is no centre light. Generally very dog-friendly area. Would use again. Reasonable rent incl electricity and linen. Glosgirl2014 (July 2014)
Thought this was an excellent property, good location for coast and countryside. Mr Floyd from Birmingham (June 2014)
Great character and very comfortable. Ms Perry from Isle Of Skye (May 2014)
Fantastic location: Peasenhall is a stunning village, with a fantastic butchers and deli. Feather Cottage is beautiful, and the stunning garden a real plus. Mr Sandham from London (May 2014)
Lovely period cottage with modern amenities. Mr Walker from Norwich (January 2014)
Lovely Cottage with all the right features. The location was nice and quiet with some of the best Suffolk coast line within 5 miles. Very helpful neighbours. Would recommend to anyone. Mr Meechan from Halesworth (December 2013)
A lovely cottage with lots nearby to visit and do. Ms Gell from Nottingham (August 2013)
The property was a good base for visiting lots of different points of interest. The age of the property was very nice and it had a cosy feel to the place, we felt very comfy in the lounge at night. We discovered some beautiful bike rides setting off from the cottage and exploring the local area. Laxfield village in particular was a nice little discovery, great old pub at the back of the church, great for good quality home-made pub food. We had a wonderful week site seeing and would definitely visit Suffolk again in the near future. Mrs Jones from Walsall (August 2013)
Really cosy cottage. Excellent base to explore the area and wonderful for cycling. One of the best cottages we have stayed in, we will definitely be coming back. Mr Livsey from Kirkby Stephen (April 2013)
A homely, relaxed cottage in a friendly village, good position for touring. Mrs Donovan from Beaconsfield (March 2013)
