Cute, cosy and clean cottage with everything we needed. Excellent value for money. Within easy walking distance to shops, pubs, bus and railway stations. Would definitely stay here again. Ms Geurtsen (October 2017)
Beautiful cottage surrounded by like beautiful manors and such. Easy rail and town access by foot. great location for touring western Yorkshire Mr Cochrane (August 2017)
Cosy and well appointed. Lovely big bedroom with the most comfortable bed. As advised on the booking details it was best to park just round the corner from the cottage. Would definately stay there again Mrs Lawson from Looe (December 2016)
Cosy and well appointed. Lovely big bedroom with the most comfortable bed. As advised on the booking details it was best to park just round the corner from the cottage. Mrs Lawson (December 2016)
Owners friendly & helpful. The only negative I can think of is the very limited parking, otherwise just about perfect. Mr Woodall from Brierley Hill (November 2016)
Lovely cottage in ideal location. 10 mins walk into the centre of Skipton, however shops, pubs and restaurants along the way. Has everything you could need and spotlessly clean. Nice location to visit Hawes, Bolton Abey and Aysgarth Falls to name but a few. Parking not great during the day, so busy also hard to find in surrounding streets, however we did manage it. Once the hairdressers is closed (top of the terrace) we were able to go and move the car. Central location so parking is never going to be great. Mrs Wilson Smith (November 2016)
The hosts were very welcoming and the location is lovely and quiet. Mrs Read from Southampton (October 2015)
We have just returned from a weeks stay in this lovely one bedroom cottage. It was spotlessly clean just the sort of place you want to return to after a day out walking. Very handy for train station and town centre and shops. We did not have a car but this was not a problem public transport very easy to get to other places for walking.. Our first time in Skipton but will be back and would stay in this again Large bed best sleep I have had for ages Janet186377 (June 2015)
Lovely, cosy little cottage in a very convenient location. Information about the various gadgets/heating was very helpful, and there were lots of useful tips - both from the owners and from previous guests in the feedback book - on things to do in the area. The bed was so incredibly comfortable that it was a task getting up every morning. Ms Mckeand from Hong Kong (December 2014)
We wanted a property within walking distance to the town and this is exactly what we got! it was few minutes to shops, pubs and restaurants. It was cosy - and of course had a VERY large and comfortable bed! It was quiet - a haven to relax in for a few days. Mrs Craven from Watford (November 2014)
Excellent location of the cottage in Skipton. Only 5 min walk from town centre. The cottage was cosy and had everything needed for our weeks stay. Skipton is a lovely town with plenty to do within the town itself. The surrounding location is beautiful with lots of nice places to visit and walks to do. Mr Strangwood from Dronfield (September 2014)
The cottage was very well situated with easy access to the town. Mr Drummee from Norwich (June 2014)
It was lovely and peaceful yet very Central to Skipton. Mrs Bachelor from Ellesmere Port (May 2014)
Proximity to the Dales and the walks around Skipton were most enjoyable, lovely little town. Huge bed in the bedroom, good shower, cosy lounge, ample cooking facilities. Mr Draper from Southampton (March 2014)
We liked the location of the cottage, we walked or caught public transport for the whole week and never used the car. Mr Mcandrew from Hook (March 2014)
Excellent location for the cottage as it is near to the town centre, and within short walking distance to local restaurants, shops and pubs. Also, access to other areas around the Dales within easy driving distance. Cottage well maintained, cosy, clean and very comfortable. Mrs Hook from Leicester (October 2013)
Really enjoyed our week at the cottage. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bedroom was enormous and all facilities necessary for a short holiday. Would not hesitate to stay there again if I have a need. A FlipKey verified reviewer (August 2013)
The cottage was very cosy and inviting. The property was ideally situated for the town centre and all the lovely countryside Ms Kinnison from Mansfield (June 2013)
The cottage was one of the best my husband and I have stayed in. Skipton was a surprise and a delight to our introduction to the Dales. The cottage was faultless, super holiday! Mrs Mannion from Billingham (June 2013)
Very convenient, clean and warm. Will definitely recommend to all friends. Mr Wiggan from Barnoldswick (May 2013)
The cottage was in an ideal location to go into town for the pubs at night and central for all our walks during the day. An extremely clean cottage to come back too and a huge comfy bed was a bonus. Miss Fewkes from Sheffield (March 2013)
Great location, short walk from the station and the supermarket. Spacious bedroom and bathroom were also fantastic. Very well kept and clean. We'd definitely stay there again. Mr Pinner from Katsushika (February 2013)
The cottage is well placed, well equipped, and everything is explained in a brochure ( heating etc ). It was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the owner called after a day to see if we needed anything. A welcome pack of milk, tea and Yorkshire biscuits would have been a nice touch, but we can only make the suggestion. The bed is super comfortable. Skipton is a great little town and a brilliant base from which to explore the dales. We had a lovely week, with some glorious days, but the wet ones were good too, with visits to Saltaire and Harrogate and we would return happily on another occasion. A FlipKey verified reviewer (December 2012)
The cottage was in a good location only a ten minute walk to the town centre. The owner was very friendly and helpful answering any questions we had. The cottage was very cosy and had everything we needed. Skipton is a nice little town with plenty of small shops to explore. Harrogate is nearby. Grassington village is a lovely little village to visit. There is a vegetarian cafe/restaurant there called The Retreat which serves lovely snacks and meals at reasonable prices. Worth a visit if you are vegetarian. Would highly recommend it. A FlipKey verified reviewer (October 2012)
I liked the fact it is so central, a maximum 10 minutes walk to the station or the supermarket and less to the centre of Skipton. I also liked to be able to hang out washing and to sit out in the little garden at the back. It is a quiet little cottage and I enjoyed staying there. Mrs Ellebye from Nesoddtangen (September 2012)
The surroundings of Skipton, the quietness of the location, the central location relative to shops, restaurants, public transport. Mr Van Buren from Apeldoorn (August 2012)
A very comfortable house within walking distance of town. Extremely well equipped - a proper home from home. Mrs Stubbings from Portland (May 2012)
We liked being close to town and being able to walk. It was well maintained and very clean. Mr Scott from Leicester (December 2011)
The owners were helpful and considerate, they showed a real determination to make our holiday as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Mr Crabb from Hull (December 2011)
Nice, quiet location. Mr Penman from Kirkcaldy (August 2011)
The cottage was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The location was very convenient. Ms Pope from Brighton (July 2011)
Very comfortable and within 5 min's walking of Skipton town. Area relatively quiet and clean. The many extras in the cottage made it feel like home. Mrs Turner from Norwich (May 2011)
Excellent location for the cottage, close to the town centre amenities. Access to outside space was an added bonus - we didn't have time to use the BBQ but was great to have that available if so desired. Highly recommend the cottage. Mrs Norris from Limavady (April 2011)
A great place with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Mrs Peasley from Wolverhampton (April 2011)
Cosy cottage. Good location. Good transport links. Owners called to check everything was ok. Mrs Tyson from Lincoln (March 2011)
This was a really lovely little cottage, beautifully and tastefully renovated and ideal for exploring Skipton and the surrounding area. Mrs Wise from Tewkesbury (September 2010)
