One of the very nicest dog friendly cottages we've ever stayed in. It has fabulous views and is very well-appointed. It is small but perfect for two people plus a dog. The owner is very friendly and welcoming on arrival and subsequently. It is very conveniently situated for many parts of North Wales and also Chester, Liverpool etc. We enjoyed it immensely and would highly recommend it. Mrs Morgan from Cardiff (June 2015)
A beautiful cottage with superb views. Mr Lewis from Kempston (May 2015)
The cottage was fantastic in every way, clean and comfy and the views were amazing. We did not want to come home, in fact we both said we could live there as the views of the Dee estuary were constantly changing , Thank you to the owner for having this cottage for us all to enjoy. Mr Horney from Brighton (September 2014)
A Lovely relaxing cottage with a superb view. Ms Spence from Cannock (August 2014)

Warm welcome, lovely cottage with fabulous views and great for bird watching. Mr Copson from Ashton-Under-Lyne (May 2014)
Wonderful little cosy cottage with superb views over the Dee Estuary. Took our dog so the fact that the garden was completely enclosed was obviously favourable. Close to owners house but didn't really see them at all until the morning we left. Mrs Plant from Trowbridge (April 2014)
Lovely cottage and really helpful friendly owners. Would certainly book it again if we could find availability, not surprised it is almost fully booked throughout the year. Absolutely brilliant views of the sea and Dee Estuary. Mr Palfrey from Preston (September 2013)
Set in a very peaceful area, this cottage is wonderful for a relaxing holiday. Have stayed a few times and love it, the owners are very friendly and always make sure that you have everything. Would recommend this cottage highly. Mr Mccafferty from Blackburn (August 2013)
Lovely little cottage, superb helpful hosts. Everything I needed as a disabled guest. Mr Ross from Worksop (July 2013)
We liked that the cottage was very disabled friendly (as my husband is in a wheelchair and cannot stand). The views and the wildlife were great, but above all the owners made all the difference, lovely couple with a can do attitude to any queries we had, nothing was too much to ask, and they genuinely mean it. What a breath of fresh air in a world where even the swankiest of hotels on occasion don't give two hoots about customer care after they have been paid. Having now found this little gem that suits our needs we will be going back as soon as we can arrange time off work, hopefully this year, but definitely next! Mr Dobson from Washington (June 2013)
We had a great time and the cottage was adorable. The views were amazing, looking out from the living area. Dr Coull from Prestwick (March 2013)
A charming little cottage, overlooking the Dee Estuary. The views from the cottage are spectacular, looking out over a lovely garden aswarm with wild birds and the odd rabbit or two. A very cosy little cottage with all amenities provided, including the wood burner which kept us very comfortable in the evenings. The owners were very helpful and welcolming without being intrusive. We are looking forward to our return visit. Karen R (March 2013)

Friendliness of our hosts, their generosity of spirit. We were not holidaying as such, but visiting our family, we previously lived in this area. It was a pleasant surprise to have found such an excellent place to stay. Mr Hall from Sax (October 2012)

Sent in a review the week after we returned. However, here is a second one. A FlipKey verified reviewer (April 2012)
A place with really high standards the furniture and furnishings were superb. The owners could not have been more welcoming and the welcome goodies were a bonus. Ideal for a romantic break or just a few days to re-charge yourself from the outside hustle and bustle of everyday life. A good central location for many of the nearby amenities, good local shops and eating places.Having been in National Trust properties this was as good if not better. A FlipKey verified reviewer (December 2011)
We loved the little touches that were there when we arrived. There was a tray with biscuits and coffee etc waiting for us which was rather nice. The cottage was lovely and we were made to feel very welcome. We will definitely stay there again. Mrs Brown from Inverness (November 2011)
