This is a very cosy accommadation away from it all it quiet and peaceful and we had a very relaxing weekend the owners were very helpful. There are some lovley walks right from the door which are dog enjoyed Mrs Porter (February 2017)
Really lovely property owners, warm welcome and helpful. Loved our short stay and will be back!! Mrs Deans from Coventry (January 2017)
A lovely warm, comfortable cottage and ideal for our little dog. Great walks nearby and close to Ruthin town. Bev was a friendly, helpful host who even let our dog out when we went to visit friends. We would definitely stay there again. Mrs Lawson from Norwich (December 2016)
Lovely holiday accommodation. great walks on the doorstep, beautiful scenery. Very friendly owners, who made me feel very welcome. I will definitely visit again and would recommend this property to anyone and especially dog owners Mrs Wood from Chesham (November 2016)
Great host made my wife and I very welcome like we had been going for years not first ime Mr Scowcroft from Glossop (October 2016)
The cottage is accessed by app. 1 mile of single track road with very few passing places, luckily, it is not very busy . There is no DAB signal, and very week phone signal. Wi fi is only in the lounge, but having said all that, this is an ideal place for a quiet get away from it all break, with excellent hosts. Mr Laidlaw from Paignton (October 2016)
We had a wonderful weeks stay at Dystil. Both Bev and Phil were very welcoming. Were there if needed. The facilities were excellent and with underfloor heating we were never cold. I would recommend this cottage it is a real home from home. So relaxing. Very comfortable bed. We were very lucky with the weather for October. Only had one rainy day. We went to Tweedmill shopping outlet. A lovely place. The scenery is stunning and the roads fairly quiet. Most places are no more than 1 hours drive away making it an excellent base for sight seeing etc. Mobile phone signal is limited but we did manage to get an internet connection. As the cottage is on a country road it was pitch black at night so a strong torch may be a good idea. Would definitely return. Mrs Waspe from Pudsey (September 2016)
I have filled in the owners comments book in the cottage where I gave a glowing report of our stay there.. The accommodation is first class but the hosts Bev And Phil and there dogs and friendly sheep make the holiday even more enjoyable.. Mr Furnival from Kettering (September 2016)

Mrs Newell from Rotherham (March 2015)
This cottage is absolutely wonderful. Every room was tastefully furnished and so very comfortable. There were so many extra little touches that made our stay so enjoyable. Daisy my brown Labrador especially enjoyed the tray of dog biscuits waiting for her! We relaxed from the moment we arrived Bev and Phil the owners were so very helpful and their beautiful dog Annie and cats Will and Flossy were a joy. Not forgetting the sheep waiting for you at the bottom of the garden! (Behind a fence). It is such a relaxing location and so close to great dog walks where you are more then likely going to be the only ones there. We did not want to leave and will most certainly return. The place is so beautiful and I look forward to returning in the Spring or Summer. Do not hesitate in booking this cottage, it really is outstanding. sachasal (February 2015)

The owners Bev & Phil are the most welcoming hosts we have met, nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of dog walks in the adjacent woods and a dog friendly beach at Talacre, which is quite rare these days. The property is very high spec with no expense spared. We really enjoyed our stay and the guest book confirms other visitors did too. The privacy of the property also enhances its location. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again and recommend it fully.
