Dinny's retreat was excellent throughout. Warm when needed and light and airy when the sun came out. The views are tremendous and the whole area serene and quiet. The fixtures and fittings, from the jacuzzi bath to the dishwasher were all of the highest standard. We had an awesome stay at Dinny's retreat and won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a quiet couples retreat in the South Lakes! Mr Bell from Crewe (April 2015)

Fantastic location, very clean and all the mod cons you required. Mr Wadham from Burton-On-Trent (July 2014)
The cottage was furnished to a high standard and the decor was lovely - very cosy and I liked the open plan of the upstairs. The cottage was well equipped - oil, washing up liquid and sponge, dishwasher tablets etc. and came with lovely touches such as AA guides to walks, Kendal mint cake, flowers. We really felt at home. Miss Hodson from Sidcup (July 2014)
The comfort of the cottage and the well thought out extras such as board games and leaving milk for when we arrived. The jacuzzi bath was an absolute luxury and the huge shower was amazing. Having a TV and DVD in the bedroom was great too and the WiFi came in handy due to the lack of signal in the area. Miss Rayson from Newcastle Upon Tyne (April 2014)
This place was done to a very high standard. We loved the decor, the furniture was great and the kitchen was lovely. The views were lovely to wake up to and there was so much info for places to go. The best place we have ever stayed. Mr Collinson from London (March 2014)
The cottage was absolutely beautiful, really well maintained. Could not recommend highly enough, I almost don't want to tell friends and family because I don't want it to be booked up the next time we want to go! The owners had thought of so many great little ideas, from having tea and coffee to logs for the fire and not to mention the supplies of Kendal mint cake! Couldn't be more pleased with our stay. Mr Place from Preston (January 2014)
A really great holiday in a beautiful cottage. Plenty of space with lovely furnishings and it all made an overall brilliant time. Ms Lamontagne from Carlisle (January 2014)

The recent renovation of this barn, is of excellent quality and standard. The quality of fittings and furnishings are top class. Overall the cottage is very comfortable and alongside its quiet location, makes this a very good holiday destination. Mr Chriss from Westcliff-On-Sea (September 2013)
We rented this property for 1 week in July. This was our first visit to the Lake District and also our first experience of rental so didn't know what to expect. Dinny's retreat is absolutely superb and situated on the edge of a working farm in a peaceful and tranquil location. The owners supplied milk, tea & coffee sachets for our arrival which was helpful. I have recommending this property to friends and would definitely return here if we decide to visit the area again. A FlipKey verified reviewer (September 2013)
The cottage was done up to a very high standard and provided all that we needed for a short break. Mrs Low from Glasgow (July 2013)
This was our first visit to the Lake District & also the first time we had booked a cottage, and we're so glad we did. Dinny's is in a very peaceful location with lots of wildlife and even though it's on the edge of a working farm, there's no disturbance from machinery or anything. It's been renovated to a very high standard and is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The owners even provide complimentary toiletries and milk, coffee etc., for your arrival. If we ever decide to holiday in the area again we would definitely return to Dinny's. nanniemo (July 2013)
