Everything was very good, the welcome and items provided was way above what we expected, would definitely book again if we are in the area. At first we were a little concerned about noise from traffic being on a main road but we were pleasantly surprised at how little there was. Highly recommend this cottage. We have stayed at 3 cottages in Wales this year and this cottage was by far the best. The attention to detail, location, style and quality of finish in the property sets it apart from the rest. Thanks for a great stay! Mr Latham from Bootle (August 2014)

The friendly welcome on arrival together with a welcome pack which was very much appreciated. Great views around the local area, good pub (Red Lion) within walking distance. Had a fantastic holiday using Dafarn Newydd as our base. Many thanks, would stay again. Mrs Taylor from Maldon (July 2014)
The overall cleanliness of the cottage was very impressive. The Conservatory is an excellent addition to the cottage, especially when the sun warms it up, or for listening to the rain. It was very comfortable to relax in at the end of a busy day, I just wish it was colder so we could have lit the magnificent fire more than we did. Mr Tiffany from Leeds (May 2014)
Very comfortable well equipped accommodation in the midst of beautiful countryside. Mr Irving from Glasgow (April 2014)
The cottage is in an excellent setting and done to a very good standard. We where greeted at the property by the owner who had thought of every thing. We would highly recommend this cottage. Mr Wake from Worthing (April 2014)

As stated, this was a comfy cosy cottage. Ideal getaway for couples who like to visit Snowdonia and the surrounding area. Very well equipped and the little things were even thought about. Would highly recommend. Mrs Hinton Lee from Rugby (March 2014)
We had a fantastic fortnight in this beautifully appointed cottage, including a very comfortable bed, super shower room, a very well equipped kitchen and Sky TV. The cottage owner has thought of everything, including a bottle of wine, bread, butter, milk etc. for our arrival. The area is excellent for walking/cycling. A wonderful cottage in a beautiful part of Wales. A FlipKey verified reviewer (January 2014)
Possibly one of the best holiday cottages that we have stayed in. The countryside was delightful, even if it was shrouded in mist and rain at times. Mr Paddon from Ashford (September 2013)
Although on a main road, the property was very quiet and peaceful with ample and easy parking space. The Host, was a very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The Red Lion in the village served excellent pub grub. Mr Boardman from Manchester (August 2013)
The cottage was perfect. The lounge and conservatory are very comfortable. The sitting room is great and has Sky+ for rainy days and evenings! Upstairs the bed and bedroom were very comfortable. The bathroom is first class! The Red Lion is about 10 minutes walk away and does excellent beer and food. Mr Barnes from Scarborough (August 2013)

The location, standard and quality of property, and variety of things to do in the area was excellent. Mr Mayfield from Kendal (July 2013)
The cottage had been refurbished to an extremely high standard and was very comfortable. We had good weather and so were out a lot of the time, but the cottage would have been cosy and good for days in had that not been the case. There was plenty of space and the conservatory was a big plus. The garden was beautiful. The owner was most helpful without being at all intrusive. The cottage made a good base for touring Snowdonia. Mrs Place from London (July 2013)
Super cottage and a wonderfully peaceful holiday. We have already booked for next year. Kind regards Marilyn and Peter Billingham A FlipKey verified reviewer (November 2012)
An truly lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and with everything you could possibly want. A FlipKey verified reviewer (September 2012)
The cottage was really exceptional and the welcome food was quite outstanding. Mrs Ashton from Southend-On-Sea (May 2012)
Beautifully situated cottage, recently made over to an excellent standard throughout. Lots of really personal details, such as owner's books in bookshelf and art on walls. The owner has sought to think of everything a guest might need, from the comprehensively kitted out kitchen, to board and card games in the coffeetable drawers. Complementary wine, chocolate and fruit basket on arrival made for a really great impression on what was a much-needed break for us. Highly recommended. 153greg (February 2012)
Comfortable accommodation in a good location for touring, walking and mountain biking. The owner was very welcoming and attentive. The Red Lion pub is a short distance away, very friendly and the meals are good value and enormous. Mr Brown from Stockport (December 2011)
