We spent a lovely week at this cosy and charming cottage, the beds especially comfy. The owners John and Sue were friendly and hospitable and we would happily stay there again. Ms Carter from Chelmsford (August 2016)
The cottage is in an excellent location, attached to the main farm house. There is ample parking at the cottage. The layout was perfect for 4 people with both bedrooms having an ensuite. It was fully equipped including wifi. We enjoyed BBQs on the enclosed patios in the evening in the sun. Sue, the owner was very friendly and gave us advice on places to eat. Would definitely stay again & recommend it. Kim F (August 2016)
The cottage arrangement of two bedrooms and two bathrooms was ideal for us and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was just as we wanted and more, especially the newly born lambs! Needless to say, we will be returning. Mrs Milsom from Highbridge (March 2016)

Enjoyed the ambience and location of Colly Cottage very much. The fact you can walk across country as soon as you step out your door is a plus. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, also knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely recommend this Cottage to others. Mrs Bassett from Braunton (November 2014)
The peace and quiet was great even though the weather was very noisy at night, high winds and rain. Wonderful views and helpful owners. Mrs Miles from Tonbridge (October 2014)
Very comfortable and beautifully furnished cottage, with great facilities and a wonderful view. The hosts were very welcoming and we had a lovely holiday! Mrs Cutts from London (August 2014)
Absolutely superb in every single way. Beautiful, comfortable cottage in lovely surroundings and in a stunning area, with plenty to do and see, both on the coast and inland. Don't miss the market in Bridport on Saturdays, and be sure to visit the Washingpool farm shop, just up the road from Colly Cottage. Excellent eateries in Bridport and West Bay. Dorchester and Sherborne are not far away, and well worth a visit. Likewise The Hive Beach Café at Burton Bradstock and the Swannery at Abbotsbury. A FlipKey verified reviewer (August 2014)
The cottage was extremely well furnished and very comfortable. The owners could not have been more helpful. The location was excellent for walking and good places to eat. Lots going on, and the surrounding countryside is truly beautiful. The icing on the cake was the lovely weather while we were staying there. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends and family and we look forward to a return visit at some point in the not too distant future. Mrs Elliott from Belford (May 2014)
A very pretty cottage in a great location. Our hosts were very helpful, there when we needed them, otherwise left us alone to enjoy our holiday. Mrs Reeve from Nottingham (May 2014)
The cottage was very warm, cosy and welcoming. The location, near to lovely Bridport was excellent, rural yet easily accessible and the owners were friendly and helpful. We loved the fact that we were able to walk with our dog through the fields near the cottage. We hope to return. Mrs Lander from Bath (February 2014)
A very comfortable and warm cottage. Hosts helpful and willing to give assistance if needed but also gave us our privacy to enjoy the break. Ms Bains from London (January 2014)
Lovely pretty cottage, beautifully furnished, comfortable and warm. No problems from the winter storms over Christmas. Felt very much at home. Mr Lillie from Baldock (December 2013)
The owners were extremely helpful and a delightful couple. The cottage is set in idyllic countryside and is very peaceful; it was most comfortable and relaxing. Mrs Saunders from Cranleigh (September 2013)
The accommodation fitted our needs perfectly - A ground floor bedroom with EN suite facilities for the disabled member of our group, and a spacious upstairs room with its own EN suite toilet and shower facilities for us. The dog was catered for by acres of ground, including a lake and attached fields. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, even arranging our first evening's dining! The location was excellent - within a short drive of bustling Bridport, and a little further to west bay and the coast. Lyme Regis should also have been close, but our visit coincided with major Roadworks across the area! It was a lovely break and we would recommend it to anyone: A beautiful spot in a beautiful county. A FlipKey verified reviewer (July 2013)
We loved the tranquility, the close proximatey to Bridport, West Bay and other places to visit. The hosts were extremely welcoming and eager to make sure we enjoyed our stay there. Mr Webber from Corsham (May 2013)
Balance of seclusion whilst still being within range of amenities was great. Very friendly hosts and relaxed atmosphere. We hope to return to this very welcoming abode. Mr Cantrill from Halesowen (May 2013)
The service was second to none.Very friendly. The cottage was home from home, very comfortable beds too.QuietChristine If you like being out in the sticks, and don't mind narrow roads , this is for you! close to Bridport, which has lots going on. We hope to return next year! when hopefully Britain will enjoy better weather. The roads were very muddy, but to be expected after all the rain, We visited in October. A FlipKey verified reviewer (December 2012)
