Had a fun filled weekend stay here with the family, 6 adults and 3 children. It was very comfortable and warm, and although the weather was poor it didn't detract from the experience. The games room was a great asset with a few table tennis competitions held. A big thank you to Helen who made us feel very welcome - we enjoyed the gifts left for us on our arrival. We would all love to return. Mrs Blakeley (November 2018)
Games room is a bonus, table tennis soon becomes addictive. Will definitely return. Mr Turner (October 2018)
Everything you need for a good holiday. House is perfect . Owner Helen so welcoming. Lovely gift gesture. Can't praise enough. mairow2 (September 2018)
Warm welcome. Property well positioned for exploring Angelsea. Variable weather didn't stop us finding lots to do. Plenty of walks, bird watching at South Stack RSPB reserve, Butterfly Palace and a train journey from Llanfairpwllgwyngyll to Holyhead. The more adventurous in our party also did the fastest zip wire in the world, Bounce Below and paddle boarding on Lake Llanberris. Great family holiday. Mrs Bembridge (September 2018)
We had a wonderful time there, the games room was a big plus. The only disappointment we had really was, the garden wasn't enclosed. We would most definitely return to Clai for another holiday in the near future. Mrs Carter (August 2018)
Just a few things really need mending to make it 5 star Mrs Ranson (July 2018)
Great location and wonderful scenery on the doorstep. Very comfortable house and received a eonderful welcome from the owner. Would definitely recommend this house and would stay there again. Mr Tebbutt (June 2018)
Appreciated the delicious cake, Prosecco and milk on arrival - the little touches go a long way. The house was really well equipped and very comfortable. The location is perfect for days out as it felt really central to all the main Anglesey sites. We really relaxed here and it was a lovely place to meet as a family and have a great week together. Mrs Lloyd (May 2018)
The accommodation far exceeded our expectations and the welcoming cake and bottle of prosecco were an added bonus. The property is ideal for a large family gathering - there were 7 adults in our party and three very young children, and there is plenty of space inside and out to escape if you feel the need. All in all it made a perfect way to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Mrs Whitehead (April 2018)
Very spacious and comfortable - exactly what we needed for the weekend with family and friends. Owner was very friendly and helpfull. Great surrounding area, close to the beach, nice pation and conservatory. Loved it! Will definitely go back again when we can. Thank you! Mr Rudak (April 2018)
None of us were disappointed. Clai is a superb spacious house with a large garden, nicely decorated and furnished, extremely well equipped throughout, including board games to play with the children. The selection of goodies were very welcoming, as was the owner Helen, who was on hand to show us where things were and how they worked when we first arrived. The house is well placed for visits to the seaside, farm parks, adventure parks, towns, castles and the salt factory. A brilliant holiday base. Will definitely be back. Mrs Jutson (March 2018)
Wow,this house is enormous, easily accommodates 10.The games room is an added bonus, the house is warm with an Aga which I had never used before but now I really want one,A welcoming couple of bottles of bubbly were there on arrival which helped us see in the new year.I have nothing negative to say about this place,it’s excellent value for money,,clean, very comfortable, has everything you could possibly want.Thankyou to Helen the owner for allowing us to stay in your beautiful house dianne1961 (January 2018)
As it was Christmas time the owner had provided many extra essentials to help us enjoy our stay, like decorations and some fizz to imbibe plus many extras that we hadn't expected. The amenities were excellent with all the family (10 adults in all plus one small dog) with plenty of space to spread ourselves around. The games room was an excellent extra and we all made use of this. Keeping in touch with the owner was great whilst we were there and was another bonus. All in all a lovely occasion. Mr Griffiths (December 2017)
The games room was a massive bonus for us.The town of Llangefni is handy for shopping and there are plenty of beaches and good restaurants within a short drive. Our thanks to Helen the owner, for making us so welcome. Mrs Goldsmith (December 2017)
Helen was very helpful and covered everything needed to know when picking up the keys. The house is very homely and has everything you need. Had a great stay and would certainly recommend to anyone! Mr Cowlyn (November 2017)
The owners were fantastic and were on hand if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Mrs Rose (July 2017)
We were a party of 7 adults with 2 small children. The house is lovely and clean, spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed cooking using the Aga which worked well! A lovely house with everything you could wish for. The only minor thing was only one proper shower. If there was another one it would be fab! A lovely welcome pack of a home made cake and a bottle of prosecco. All small touches appreciated e.g enough soaps, toilet rolls and lovely towels. Thanks. We will come back again! Maria3803 (April 2017)
It was clean, well equipped, homely with lots of little extras. Very spacious and luxurious. Mrs Matthews (March 2017)
Warm welcome from the home owner. A beautiful cake,a bottle of Prosseco, and things for making beverages awaited our family.House immaculate ,with excellent quality linen and crockery, the most comfortable of beds.Fun using Aga,regular cooker also available. Lovely cozy wood-burning stove, games room great fun.Spacious garden with terrace. Unfortunately spa bath not working during our stay, awaiting engineer. This didn't really affect our visit.More than enough space for 5 of us,however could probably do with 3rd bathroom/shower room if ten people were staying, and a larger dining room table.Advise to use grid ref to find the house, postcode not specific enough,we got lost-Grid Ref 53.2619490,-4.3037780 -we think. The home owner was so kind and accommodating. We really loved our visit, can't wait to book again, now we know where it is! Lisa H (September 2016)
This house has everything you need, It is beautifully fitted out with high quality crockery, bedding etc. and is a great size for 10 people. The bedrooms are large and airy and there is plenty of room downstairs to spread out. The games room is great for adults and children alike and the garden is huge with a lovely patio which is a sun trap. Extra touches like the fresh flowers and home made cake on arrival make it stand out from other rentals and the owner is helpful and responsive to anything you need. I would definitely recommend it.
