A lovely cottage, the kitchen was beautifully equipped, the beds really comfortable. We had a lovely weekend. The only reason we wouldn't book it again is that we like to try new places. Mrs Garton (November 2017)
Loved the cottage. Lovely warm welcoming. Beautiful welcome package. Linen and towels lovely. One comment ( not complaint) not quite enough crockery, glasses, only three teaspoons. Melamine plates !!! This was a beautifully presented cottage Mrs Burgess from Shepperton (December 2016)
The cottage was the best one we have ever stayed in. It had all the character of an old cottage, uneven floors and low sloping ceilings but all the mod cons you would need. It was such a treat. Mr Hart from Aylesbury (December 2016)
Beautiful cottage which was within driving distance of many places of interest. We have rented the cottage 3 times and we are booked in for another stay next year. Mrs Brindley from Dudley (November 2016)
We absolutely LOVED this house! It was old and quaint with all of the updated luxury of a nice kitchen and bathrooms, the best of both worlds. We loved the village, the walks and the pub too. Thank you for a great week in a beautiful home. Miss Williams from Belmont (July 2016)
We loved our stay in the cottage. All we needed was available. Rowaan from Loppersum (June 2016)
We had a genuinely wonderful week. The cottage was perfect and had everything we needed - from the perspective of both adults and toddlers. The local recommendations in the visitor book were very helpful. It was easy to find days out very close to the cottage. We would definitely go back. The toddlers loved the place and the ability to roam about the lovely garden unsupervised. Dr Windle from London (March 2016)
We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked the cottage for a week in May. The property was cosy and warm. Mrs Brindley from Dudley (March 2016)
Cider Mill is a beautiful, authentic cottage in a lovely village. The cottage was exceptionally well equipped. Mrs Lozano from Palmyra (February 2016)
This was a family Christmas holiday, which ticked all the boxes. The cottage was decorated on our arrival and was very warm, with a welcoming atmosphere. A picture perfect thatched cottage in a great location. The grandchildren, aged 9 and 10 loved it and the history of the cottage. The downstairs shower room was particularly effective especially when 6 people returned from muddy walks. We cooked Christmas dinner easily as there was everything we needed. We were all sad to leave. Mrs Berrisford from Matlock (December 2015)
Loved the quirky, homely nature of the cottage right down to the furnishings and fittings. Mr Jessop from Norman Park (December 2015)
When we saw the picture of the cottage we knew we wanted to be there. My wife and I brought our 4 granddaughters to England so they could always understand the country. Now whenever they read a novel with an English setting they will be able to visualize what a English Cottage is like. Everything about the property was great. We loved the modern kitchen and bath with shower in the tasteful addition. The bedrooms were comfortable and snug tucked under the roof on the 2nd floor. The location was convenient to Stratford-on-Avon, Warwick Castle, Blenheim and Bletchley Park-all within an hour's drive. JohnMarx97 (July 2015)
I've always wanted to stay in a chocolate box cottage. Ms Voormeij from Zwaag (May 2015)
Liked just about everything! The village is gorgeous. Ms Keaney from Coburg (December 2014)
Loved this little gem - full of character but not stuffy. If you are very tall you'll need to duck your head in the hall upstairs because it slops with the roof line, and watch very little children on the stairs which do not have a rail. Downstairs wet room shower is DEVINE. We stayed for a week with our 8 and 10 year old and it was just perfect. Beautiful English garden outside and a charming stroll to a friendly pub with great fish and chips. Perfect for us. Highly recommend for all except those with mobility restrictions, or toddlers, due to the stairs. A FlipKey verified reviewer (September 2014)
The Cottage was very convenient for days out. We loved the character of the cottage and its history. The beds were extremely comfortable and the downstairs wet room shower a complete treat. Sitting in the garden was lovely. Ms Taylor from Belmont (July 2014)
Liked the Humour, History & Hospitality. Mrs Coulter from Huntsville (July 2014)
A very pretty cottage, cosy and snug, and furnished as a cottage of this type should be. In a quiet location where we were able to getaway from it all. Would be very happy to stay in this cottage again, and again. Mrs Parlour from Colchester (November 2013)
