This cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated with no expense spared! Every little detail has been considered and feels like a home from home. The hot tub is lovely and tucked away for privacy which is great! The hosts were lovely and welcoming and let us know about local events in the area we could attend. The cottage was very comfortable and had a touch of luxury. The cottage is in beautiful surroundings with a stream and a small bridge on the property. No words can describe just how truly beautiful this cottage is. My other half and I fell in love the second the owner showed us around. Both of the owners were amazing throughout our week here and even started our fire for us because us southern city folk had no idea! We will 100% be returning in the not too distant future. Miss Blomfield (January 2016)
We had a wonderful and relaxing week at Beckside Cottage. The cottage is really lovely with luxurious bathing facilities and the hot tub just gorgeous as you watch the night sky relaxing. The owners who live on site were so hospitable and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We loved the set up so much we ended up moving house five months later and following our dream of moving to the county so thank you for all of your advise 196janines (December 2015)
The log burner and the hot tub were the cherry on top of a lovely holiday. They made coming home after a long day even sweeter and thoroughly relaxing. Miss George from Bradford (November 2015)

awesome cottage with fantastic amenities, felt like you were miles from civilization but in fact only five mins from main road to lots of historic sights and leisure activities. Hosts were nearby if needed without being intrusive. Evelyn485 (October 2015)

Absolutely fantastic. Had lovely owners, it was extremely clean, everything was furnished to very high standard and the hot tub was fantastic. Mr Hayward from Barrow-In-Furness (June 2015)
Absolutely beautiful cottage which was thoughtfully furnished to a very high standard and in a tranquil setting. The hot tub was amazingly relaxing in the evenings, looking at the night stars. Had really lovely owners who went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, but not at all intrusive upon our privacy. A beautiful location, loads to do if you're outdoor types and if not, you could happily enjoy a week of tranquillity in the cottage reading, watching the chickens and lambs. Fabulous, we would definitely re visit. Mrs Swindale from North Shields (April 2015)
A fantastic cottage with all we needed and more, we especially enjoyed the hot tub, log burner and the excellent location. Friendly, helpful owners, we'll definitely be returning. Miss Rees from Leeds (January 2015)
Beckside cottage is perfect for cosy retreat for two. The cottage itself is beautiful, and has recently been refurbished to a high quality, with a wood burning fire, free standing bath tub in the bedroom and a rainfall shower that you will actually want to get out of bed for. There is also a hot tub set directly outside the cottage which is not over-looked and really made the weekend for us. The property is set in the owner's grounds, surrounded by beautiful countryside and some incredible views. The owners are incredibly welcoming and gave us a tour of the property on arrival, even lighting the fire for us. They had already set up the hot tub which was ready for use at any point in the three days we spent at Beckside. We really appreciated the little extras included such as a huge torch to take out walking with us, robes and wood for the fire. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Beckside Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet break, but with good access to some of the most beautiful areas of Yorkshire. vickyr_87 (January 2015)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beckside Cottage. The peace and quiet, having the sole use of a hot tub and use of a log burner when it was cold and wet outside added to the cosy feel of the cottage. A romantic retreat furnished to a high standard, we will definitely be going back. Mrs Gray from Whitley Bay (December 2014)
