This is a very lovely, welcoming place to stay. Has all the advantages of being in the Lakes are without being where the crowds are. So enjoyed the welcome from the owners, the tranquility of the cottage and the warmth of the woodburner as Summer had just left as we arrived. Would fully recommend this as a place to stay. Mrs Brough from Leeds (September 2016)

I Loved how quiet the location was, the size of the cottage, your own car parking space, and the people who owned the cottage were very friendly. Mr Walters from Newcastle Upon Tyne (November 2015)
The Cottage was perfect for a couple, beautifully decorated and furnished. The wood burning stove was lovely on a wet and miserable night and even without that, the cottage was cosy thanks to good radiators. This was our first holiday rental as a couple and it has set a high standard for future breaks! Mrs Fagan from Beith (October 2015)

"The cottage was warm and a haven to return to after a day on the hills. The log burner was well used and the kitchen was large and well equipped. Parking was right outside, and the location was handy for Barrow and access to Southern Lakes." Mr Backhouse from Castleford (March 2015)
An awesome long weekend at the cottage. The place was immaculate, had all the things you would need and was a pleasure to stay in. We loved the fire which was a nice attribute to the cottage. WiFi was a bonus as there isn't really any mobile signal. All in all, a great weekend in the south/west lakes. Mr Hales from Tidworth (February 2015)
A beautiful place to stay, we had a wonderful time. The cottage is warm and cosy and the attention to detail is fabulous. Can't wait to return! Mrs Curtis from Newark (February 2015)
Had a very lovely stay the owners were welcoming and went over and above when any info/help was required. Miss Smith from London (November 2014)
The cottage was well appointed, especially having a fire place which added ambience on cold nights. Hosts were great and very obliging, the area was great, only drawback is we did not have enough time to explore the area in depth, maybe next time. Mr Hepper (October 2014)
The owners are extremely nice people and very helpful. They have fitted out the accommodation to an excellent standard. Beck Cottage is close to stunning scenery and lovely walks. Would definitely recommend Beck Cottage to our friends, and would stay there again if we could. Mr North from Albany (September 2014)
We've just returned from a week away at Beck Cottage near to Ulverston in the Lakes. It was a perfect getaway - and really felt like a home from home. The cottage was extremely well equipped and we couldn't fault anything. Millie who owns the cottage was a great host and made us feel at home. We had our 5 month old son with us - Millie went out of her way to make him feel at home, even buying a new high chair for him! We'd definitely recommend Beck Cottage to anyone. Ulverston is approx 30 mins south of Windermere - and there are plenty of activities nearby to keep you busy. Overall a great week away. 10/10! tgl84 (September 2014)
We had a friendly welcome from our hosts who have put a lot of effort into making this cottage a lovely relaxing place to stay. An ideal location with lots of lovely places to visit not too far away. Mr Platt from Liverpool (August 2014)
The cottage was fantastic and we fully intend to return. Mr Trench from Wetherby (July 2014)
The accommodation was of a very high standard and the location was very quiet. Good local pub only 5 minutes away. It was easy to get to lots of different places of interest, Ulverston is a very pretty little town and the ferry to Piel Island was quite an experience. Mrs Gurney from Worcester (June 2014)
The hosts were perfect and helpful in every way. The location was a perfect base to explore the area and nothing is too far away. Mr Pearson from Rotherham (May 2014)
The whole experience staying at Beck Cottage was excellent, from the facilities offered within the cottage, to the information on things to do and visit in the area. We received a warm and friendly welcome on our arrival and throughout our stay from owners of the Cottage. We would definitely stay here again. Mr Berry from Saltburn-By-The-Sea (May 2014)
