There was everything we needed and it was in a great location for many of the attractions on the Northumbrian coast. It was really comfortable and we very much appreciated the new super king size mattress. On top of everything, Chris was a great landlord! Mick and Trish Mr Brookes (September 2018)
Rocky shore with pools 100 yards on one side and very long sandy beach 100 yards on other. Very clean and well equipped flat. Private and off road parking. Grandkids loved it there. Mr Patrick (August 2018)
Would like to have been able to open windows more than just a couple of inches but as the weather was not too hot it wasn’t really a problem. Mattresses and sofa were a little on the saggy side for my tastes but that’s just me. Mrs Stocks (July 2018)
We had a lovely relaxing holiday in comfortable accommodation within easy walking distance of the sea. A lovely village that we have visited often. Mrs Potts (June 2018)
Would really recommend and hope to be back soon Mr Weldon (April 2018)
Fantastic position so close to the wonderful Beadnell beach. Hope to come back soon. Mrs ODonnell (March 2018)
The flat was great with access to the beach a few minutes away. It was very comfortable and the kitchen in particular had everything you could possibly need. The storage heaters worked well and the flat was always warm. Mr Callaway (October 2017)

This property suited our needs for the places we wished to visit. A very comfortable property. Mr Lintott (July 2017)
A very comfortable property. Mr Lintott (July 2017)
We should have been informed that a builder would be starting work on the outside of a bedroom window before 8.00am, you do not expect this to happen. In fact it happened on two mornings during our stay. Mr Bennett from Alton (September 2016)
Fantastic location, right next to the beach. There was an excellent standard of cleanliness and range of items and amenities at the property. Miss Hodgkiss from Chesterfield (May 2016)
Great location. The cottage was very well equipped. Lovely balcony. Very close to beach. Quiet and peaceful. Would recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return. Mrs Jarvis from Solihull (April 2016)
The location of the property was perfect - literally 3 minutes to the beach. The property was cosy, spacious, very clean and well equipped. Mrs Bell from Stockport (August 2015)
Great place to stay! Altogether, a wonderful apartment. Had a great feeling about the place - roomy, quiet and peaceful - although that could be the time of year. The proximity to the beach is great. Mr Durose from Chesterfield (May 2015)
The location was fantastic - only 2 minutes from the beach. A very cosy and comfortable apartment with everything we could need. Mrs Barrett from Peebles (April 2015)
The flat was bright, spacious and well furnished. The kitchen was the best equipped we've ever had and the beach was just a minute's walk away, over the dunes. Mr Brawn from Abingdon (August 2014)
The owner was extremely helpful on our arrival helping with luggage etc We appreciated the wine &milk left in the fridge. Very comfortable chairs in the sitting room & well appointed. Ideally situated apartment, very quiet area. Helped make our holiday very enjoyable. Mr Moss-allison from Keelby (June 2014)
The apartment was very well furnished, especially the sitting room, and we felt at home during our stay. It is a lovely area, very quiet. We enjoyed being able to walk to the nearby beach. It was only a short drive to amenities at Seahouses and Bamburgh! We would certainly recommend and return to this property. Mr Moss-allison from Keelby (June 2014)
It was in good condition; new bathroom, new carpets in bedroom, and nicely furnished. It is in a nice position with partial sea views. Good for visiting places. A nice quiet restful holiday. Mr Phipps from Barnoldswick (August 2013)
First floor apartment with sea views from the balcony. Very close to the beach and a short walk to the small harbour of Beadnell with its famous lime kilns. There is a small grocery store and fish and chip shop a 15 min walk away (limited opening hours), but quite adequate. Seahouses is a short drive with Bambrough a little further. The apartment was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. There is a pub and hotel which serves food in the village centre. Directions for collecting the key could have been clearer, but that's my only complaint. I'd certainly stay there again. A FlipKey verified reviewer (August 2013)
We have been to this property before, and rebooked because we love the location and the apartment. Mrs Lee from Newark (July 2013)
The location was excellent, with 2 sea views from the balcony! The small harbour and lovely sandy beach were only a short stroll away. Mrs Patton from Leeds (June 2013)
It was just as the recommendations said, lovely and quiet in the most beautiful location. An excellent holiday in a really lovely apartment, loved the balcony. So appreciated the lovely wine and the milk! Mrs Cassells from Skelmersdale (May 2013)
The apartment was in an excellent position, just two minutes walk from the beautiful sandy bay at Beadnell. It was clean, warm and very comfortable. Mr Austin from King'S Lynn (October 2012)
We have taken breaks in Northumberland for many years and in the Beadnell area or village for the last 7. This was the ideally located place that we have stayed at. Honestly 2 to 3 minutes from one of the best beaches in the UK. This property is very, very comfortable and well presented. One very short flight, with a view of the beach from the living room and balcony. All very peaceful. We rarely go anywhere twice but will certainly go back there if available next year. The walk along the beach, via Low Newton to Craster is about a 2 and half journey if fit and well worth it...there are buses back from Craster if needed! Honestly cannot fault it, as for weather...well, it is the UK...so what if it rains, it is stunning countryside! Discus268 (October 2012)

We love Beadnell and the position of the property is fantastic. It is quiet and comfortable and has everything we need. This was our second visit and I am sure we will be back. Mrs Lee from Newark (July 2012)
This is the third time we have stayed at Bayview and would thoroughly recommend it. It is quiet and is ideally placed for walks on the beach and for trips out. The property was well equipped with everything we needed making it a real 'home from home'. I have already recommended it to friends who are interested in booking. Mr Briddon from Derby (June 2012)
Lovely flat in a great location. The flat was comfotable and had everything we needed. The beach was very close by. Beadnell is small but had a shop, a pub, restaurant and a fish and chip shop. There are plenty of places to visit nearby especially if you like castles. The only thing that could have made it better was the weather. A FlipKey verified reviewer (October 2011)
We really enjoyed our holiday and the location is fantastic. We've put this property and location in our "Must Return to" holiday destination! Mrs Varnes from Knaresborough (August 2011)
Location is excellent. Flat is good and very clean. Mr Cunningham from Halesowen (August 2011)

The location was fantastic, plenty of things to do within 10-15 miles. Beautiful beach on doorstep and holiday cottage was in a very pleasant and quiet location. Cottage itself was bright and airy and lovely to stay in. Mrs Bramley from Malton (May 2011)
The flat was very clean and tidy with more than enough equipment, books and entertainment. Very well appointed and homely. A stone's throw from good beach and highly recommended. Mr Candler from Brighton (May 2011)
Really nice, warm and comfortable apartment with a sheltered balcony. It's just beside the lovely big flat beach. Very quiet. Particularly appreciated the super king sized bed. Mrs Moran from Newcastle Upon Tyne (March 2011)
The flat was very comfortable. It felt like someone loved it and cared for it very well. The kitchen was so well equipped I hadn't ever seen one like it in a holiday let. I love the North East Coast and the beaches are just beautiful. Ms Pearce from Sheffield (March 2011)
The apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped, had a new bathroom recently. Handy for exploring the Northumerland coast and towns. Would stay here again. A FlipKey verified reviewer (November 2010)
One of the best equipped properties we've stayed in. Very convenient location for exploring Northumberland. Lovely quiet village and the apartment is extremely comfortable and close to the beach. Mrs Malone from Manchester (September 2010)
The apartment was all you could wish for. Very clean, comfortable and modern. It was only about 50 yards from a lovely beach. Good food in the local pub in the village which was a short walk across the field and a bit longer walk on the way back via the road. Very central for all sites along the coast, Seahouses, Bamburgh Castle, Farne Islands, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and Berwick-on-Tweed. Did all these attractions but not much driving. Would recommend this to anyone. Judy Wilkes (September 2010)
Easy access to nearby towns like Bamburgh, quiet place good for relaxing. Liked the games provided in the apartment. Mrs Denby from Bolton (August 2010)
