A very nice place to stay and the proprietor was extremely helpful. Glad we booked Mr Marshall (February 2017)
Our experience in Barn Cottage was amazing. The beauty of the surroundings, the comfort of the house and, of course, the hospitality of the owners made our holiday one of the best ever. Mr Guzman from Barcelona (October 2016)
Had a great stay at barn cottage. The owner William was very helpful with everything we needed to know. Lovely views, central and very comfortable. Lovely setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there. Mrs Chatfield from Swanley (June 2016)
A lovely place to stay, the owners were really welcoming and friendly. A very good standard of property to stay, would recommend your site to friends. Mr Kerry from Leamington Spa (April 2015)
Lovely setting in the grounds of the owners property with excellent views. It was a short walk to the village with its local pub serving good home cooked food which was good value. There was walking access to Dartmoor from the house. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Mrs Tebay from Weston-Super-Mare (March 2015)
Peaceful and quiet, undisturbed holiday. Pub and shop were in easy walking distance. Lovely place to stay, will definitely be going back. Mr Gosling from Sidmouth (December 2014)
The owner was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about the area plus he gave us some very good tips on local places to visit and to eat and drink. The property is in a very good location for visiting both Cornwall and Devon, as it was only a short drive to the A30, plus it is close enough to easily walk to the village. Mr Hooks from Epsom (September 2014)
Peace and quiet with ample space. Mr Gokavi from Roleystone (September 2014)
Barn Cottage was an extremely peaceful place to stay. We loved the large, airy room with all the windows onto the garden. We even saw a little shrew running along the windowsill behind the wood burner! It was also a great central location for trips to the North or South coast, or walking on Dartmoor. Miss Murphy from Huddersfield (August 2014)
A beautiful location with extremely friendly and welcoming owners. A good location for visiting any destinations, would definitely recommend this cottage. Mrs Bellingham from Newton Aycliffe (July 2014)
The location was good, the barn is a good size, it was warm and light. The host was friendly and informative. Mr Escalante from Petersfield (April 2014)
The cottage is fantastic, great location, owners on site were incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely book again at this location. We thought it looked great on the website but the pictures don't do the property justice. Mr Harper from Andover (March 2014)
Good location, perfect for a cosy short stay. Owner very helpful and very willing to please. Mr Baily from Alresford (December 2013)
The venue itself was much larger than expected, and they had made it especially homely for Christmas with a tree. It was quiet and peaceful in beautiful surroundings, exactly what we wanted. Miss Cant from London (December 2013)
A beautiful location with plenty of places to see and things to do. Mrs Chapman from Orpington (September 2013)
A lot larger than average for two person accommodation. Very good shower. Location just outside the village was excellent and less than 10 minutes walk to dog friendly pubs. Mr Rutgers from Northampton (September 2013)
Very friendly owner, great cosy property and close to pubs. Mr Sargent from Basingstoke (March 2013)
Superb cottage in a superb location to explore Dartmoor. An ideal getaway. Mr Lewis from Swansea (February 2013)
It was wonderfully clean and well equipped. Plenty of wood for the wood burner, lovely and warm. Spacious but cosy, a quiet bolt hole to get away from it all. Owners were very helpful and welcoming. Big garden for the dog. Fantastic local walks. Smashing pubs. Powles from Torpoint (November 2012)
The log fire was wonderful. Mr Cumber from Sudbury (June 2012)
Lovely holiday home in a beautiful setting and great for visiting other places in Devon. Mrs Berryman from Cowes (May 2012)
The Barn Cottage immediately impressed with it's views and interior. The friendly and helpful owners were very welcoming and our dog was made very welcome by their dogs! We would be very happy to stay there again. Mr Lake-Bullen from Southampton (May 2012)
