I've mentioned a few hotels in London before, well this time round I'm talking about a hotel a little further away - in fact the other side of the Atlantic. The hotel in question is The Belvedere Hotel in New York City. I can personally vouch for The Belvedere Hotel, as we stayed there during a family holiday recently.
Close to mid-town Manhattan, The Belvedere Hotel is 2 minutes' walk from Times Square; 10 minutes' walk from pier 53 at the Hudson river (where you'll find water taxis and the "Intrepid" sea, air & space museum. And, crucially for us, with a couple of children in tow, "Hell's Kitchen" playground was only 2 minutes' walk away from The Belvedere Hotel too.
The Belvedere Hotel was clean and stylish, with the room having 2 double beds to sleep the 4 of us. There was also a fridge (handy) and a coffee machine (not so handy for us tea drinkers). There was, however, a microwave to heat up water for that all-important cup of tea first thing in the morning.
For anybody looking to spend a few nights in New York City - and are looking for a mid-price hotel, it's well worth having a closer look at The Belvedere Hotel.
Give The Belvedere Hotel a try
