What can I say about the Rubery Premier Inn? A 17th Century coaching house. A unique building.
Character filled rooms. Er, no to all of the above. For all those familiar with the
Premier Inn brand, you'll know what expect from a
Premier Inn experience - and the Rubery Premier Inn is no different. Read our review on the Rubery Premier Inn
We recently stayed at the Rubery Premier Inn - Rubery is an area of Birmingham - on a family visit to Cadbury World. Rubery Premier Inn is a 5 mile drive from Cadbury World, so the perfect place to spend the night en route to our holiday at Black Hall Lodges.
A quick summary for those not familiar with a Premier Inn: first of all, a family room can sleep a family of 4; next up is that children (up to age 16) eat breakfast for free with each paying adult; and the last point to mention is that a Premier Inn is great value. We booked our night about four weeks before the arrival date, and the room cost us £29 - which, I think you'll agree, is good value for a night in a hotel for a family for four.
The room was like all the Premier Inns we've stayed in before (which is good!): large double bed and 2 single beds, The bathroom and bedroom were very clean & cared for.
Each Premier Inn has a restaurant attached to it, in the case of the Rubery Premier Inn the restaurant is a Brewer's Fayre. Rubery Premier Inn is also a 2 minute walk from other restaurants including a Chiquito Mexican restaurant and a Frankie & Bennys. A cinema and Gala Bingo are a 2 minute walk away too., which maybe handy for a night out - depending on what you like. And, finally, a Morrisons supermarket is just around the corner (again, within walking distance). So you can get those important snacks for the nippers.
