"The Old Post Office" is a holiday cottage in Geldeston, near Beccles - which is in the county of Suffolk. Located in a small village, The Old Post Office is within a short walk of the local pub (an Adnams pub at that, for all you real ale fans). A boat yard is also nearby, where you can hire a canoe or motor cruiser to explore the River Waveney. Beccles is a couple of miles away from The Old Post Office, and boasts a good selection of pubs, cafes and independent shops; and for those taking a holiday during the summer months, I'd highly recommend a visit to Beccles Lido.
The coast is a short drive away, with Great Yarmouth being famous for its golden beaches and all the sea side excitement you could possibly want! Or head to Lowestoft, which also has lovely beaches, but is a little quieter than Great Yarmouth. Southwold is nearby too - the home of the Adnams brewery (the brewery who owns the local pub near The Old Post Office).
There are 3 bedrooms at The Old Post Office - 1 double, 1 twin and a bunk bedroom; so The Old Post Office sleeps 6 people. You get a wood burning stove in the living room; all the heating and electricity are included in the price of your holiday; with towels and bed linen also being included; a washing machine and dish washer are also available.
There is a small courtyard with furniture to enjoy a cup of tea in that summer sun; with plenty of parking available too.
