The Grand Farmhouse is an absolutely huge holiday cottage! Sleeping 22 people, this large farmhouse makes for a great destination when you want to get together with friends and family. Located in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, just outside the ancient village of Dedham; midway between Colchester and Ipswich. The Grand Farmhouse is a 17th century grade II listed farmhouse - so you know this property is going to have some character. Around the area you've got rural Suffolk to explore on foot and cycle - or head to the towns of Colchester (just over the border into Essex) and Ipswich. You can also see some of the pretty coastline around these parts, with a trip to Walton-On-Naze or Frinton-On-Sea. Back at the cottage, you'll find both the pub and the shop about 2 miles away.
There are 7 bedrooms at The Grand Farmhouse - 6 double bedrooms and a children's bedroom with 4 single beds. Some of the double bedrooms also have an additional single bed in them. Put them all together and The Grand Farmhouse sleeps 22 people.
The main sitting room contains a TV, DVD and that all-important wood burning stove. There is a TV room too, which has a TV and DVD; the kitchen has an Aga range cooker; and a washing machine and tumble dryer are included; Wi-Fi is also included at The Grand Farmhouse. Pets are allowed at The Grand Farmhouse.
Outside you have a large garden, which also includes two paddocks - all of which are enclosed with electric gates; there's plenty of private parking too.
