For those of you looking to head north of the border for a few days, have a look at "The Buttery" near Banff in Aberdeenshire. The Buttery was once the servants quarters of the main house to which this accommodation is attached, and has now been converted into this lovely holiday cottage. In the area you'll find the wilderness which is the Caingorms National Park; with Inverness and Aberdeen also being within an easy drive. You can explore the area of foot or cycle - or see the rugged coastline which forms this part of Scotland. After a day off seeing the area, you can come back to The Buttery and maybe enjoy a drink and meal at the restaurant - which is about 5 miles away.
There are two bedrooms at The Buttery - a double and a twin. So The Buttery sleeps 4 people. You get gas central heating at this cottage; but there's also a wood burner here to give you a cosy night in. Wi-Fi is available for your use; and outside you have ½ acre of gardens. There is also patio furniture for you to enjoy a little sit down and a cup of tea.
7 nights holidays start on a Saturday; and short breaks can be taken at The Buttery at any time of the year. For those with less time to getaway, 2 night short breaks are also available. And, lastly, pets are allowed at The Buttery.
