The holiday cottage of "Shutters" is a modern cottage in the Durham town of Beamish. An ideal place to spend a few days if you want to visit the large open air "Beamish Museum" - as this museum is within walking distance of Shutters. Or head into Newcastle upon Tyne, which is a short drive away; Gateshead, Chester Le Street and Jarrow are also around this part of the world. For something quieter you can spend some time exploring the Beamish Valley, woodlands and cycle paths. For your evening refreshments, the pub and restaurant is 1 mile away from Shutters; and the nearest shop is ½ mile.
There are 2 bedrooms at Shutters - with both bedrooms being doubles; so Shutters sleeps 4 people. There is gas central heating; and bed linen and towels are included; you get a TV and DVD; and a washing machine and dish washer to limit those chores.
Outside is an enclosed lawned garden to enjoy a summer evening (the photo on the left shows you the garden at Shutters).
Holidays Shutters start on a Saturday, with short breaks being available in the winter months.
