You can easily walk frim Church Farm Lodge into the centre of Aldeburgh - with its choice of pubs and restaurants. You can then walk along Crag Path, heading north, into Thorpeness (about 2 miles from Church Farm Lodge). You'll see the distinctive "House in the Clouds" on your walk too. Head south out of Aldeburgh takes you passed the Martello Tower.
Along the coast, you have several towns to explore. There Dunwich, with its surrounding heaths. Or Southwold, home of the Adnams Brewery - and with a working harbour to walk along; catch the row boat ferry to Walberswick too!
