Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast - a coach tour to Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast
This coach tour of Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast includes 12 nights of accommodation, with continental breakfast included - and 10 evening meals also included.
There is an overnight ferry crossing in 2-berth en suite cabins, with continental breakfast and one evening meal.

Accommodation included during your tour of Croatia
During your tour of Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast you will stay for four nights in Dubrovnik, at a 3-star (minimum) hotel such as the Valamar Club, Tirena or Argosy on the Babin Kuk peninsula. There is also a stay for one night at the 3-star Hotel Solaris Resort or similar in Sibenik. With a one night at the 3-star Hotel Pinja, Petrcane or similar in the Zadar region. You then have two nights at the 4-star Hotel Agava or similar in the Opatija area. Should be travelling to Croatia on an overnight sailing, accommodation will be in 2-berth en suite cabins.

The itinerary of your coach tour to Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast
You have a local departure by coach, or door-to-door service, then travel to northern France for an overnight stay.
The tour continues to northern Italy for an overnight stay.
On to Ancona for the overnight ferry crossing to Split in Croatia. The accommodation is in 2-berth en suite cabins.
You will disembark in Split, and travel en route to Dubrovnik for a four-night stay. During the Turkish occupation, a bridge (Stari Most) was built across the river and this became a symbol of the city during the Croatia-Bosnia conflict in the early 1990s, when it was totally destroyed. Since then the bridge has been rebuilt (see the photo above). Your guided sightseeing tour includes entrance to the Turkish House and Muslim Mosque.
You can enjoy a day at leisure in Dubrovnik; described as the 'Jewel in the Crown of the Adriatic'. With its ancient walls still intact, Dubrovnik has been called 'the most perfectly preserved medieval town in the world'. You can take a walk along the stone ramparts of the city for the best views, then venture inside to experience its many treasures. Your guided city tour will feature the main highlights, including the Cathedral, Knezev Palace and Franciscan Monastery.
You can make the most of an optional excursion by coach and boat to Korcula; an island rich in fascinating, historical influences from the Greeks, Venetians and Turks. Later in the day you can enjoy winetasting on the nearby peninsula of Peljesac.
On day 7 you can take advantage of an optional excursion to neighbouring Montenegro and the well-preserved city of Kotor. The entire city is criss-crossed with narrow streets and squares. Lord Byron described this part of the coast as 'the most beautiful encounter between land and sea'. On our return to Dubrovnik you take the ferry from Lepatane to Kamenari.
Leaving Dubrovnik, the tour heads north along the coast to Split, where there is a guided tour of the city. The tour continues to Trogir, which has a lovely setting on a small island just off the mainland; connected by a bridge. The tour has an overnight stop in the Sibenik region.
Leaving Sibenik, the tour takes an included, guided tour of the old fortified town, then continue to Krka National Park. In the park you will see deep tree-covered canyons which plunge into plateaus with impressive waterfall cascades. Next, you visit Zadar, which is built on a narrow peninsula extending into the Zadar Channel. You have a guided tour of the city included. There is an overnight stop in the Zadar/Petrcane region.
The tour leaves Zadar and and you have a full-day included excursion to Plitvice; the most beautiful and best known of Croatia's national parks. The sixteen small lakes within the national park are interconnected by waterfalls, dense forests of beech, fir and spruce trees and it is home to many species of animal, including the brown bear. After the tour of the national park, you will continue to Opatija for a two-night stay.
You can take a walk along the seaside Lungomare and visit the botanical garden.
The tour travels through Slovenia and into Austria for an overnight stay.
You continue on to Belgium for an overnight stay.
The last day of the tour to Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast has you returning home via Calais.
