Fabulous site, had a week on there, easy access to nearby shops and supermarket. Bus stops out side camp close by. Within easy reach of all kent destinations. Staff and accommodation first class.
Bryn from Sheffield (30 September 2016)

Relaxing, helpful staff. Accommodation comfortable and very clean
Robert from St. Albans (26 September 2016)

This was our 4th year at seaview and I am sorry to say our last. The site has grown a lot with more space for tourers and it all looks rather a mess.
Wendy from Cambridge (12 September 2016)

My children were very disappointed with the swimming pool due to the fact that they only got to go in it 1 day out of 7 due all tickets gone by 9 for all day sessions even on some days pool seemed empty
Diane from Tamworth (03 September 2016)

The pool was a big hit with the kids and the booking system for it worked well. . we didn't really get involved in any of the on site entertainment (it seemed more suited to younger children) but had days out to whitstable and herne bay (on foot ) and to margate (short drive - great sandy beach). this was our first experience of a caravan holiday & it surpassed our expectations.
Davina from Kent (02 September 2016)

We had a wonderful holiday and it was a very ice holiday park, good location.
Fiona from Augustenborg (25 July 2016)

Really friendly staff and great swimming pool. Food could improve, young children loved the entertainment. . great location.
Louise from Kent (22 July 2016)

Lovely holiday park and family friendly the only unpositive things about the whole holiday was it was noisy at the weekends late at night and you couldn't park near your caravan which was a bit of a hassel lugging your belongings back and forth from car apart from that we all enjoyed our holiday at whitstable seaview
Emma from Lincoln (14 May 2016)

Ideal site for getting to all the interesting areas of kent
David from Woodley Reading (13 May 2016)

Great site , great staff , lovely location for walks and plenty to do or not to do which ever is your preference , would highly recommend
Peter from Redhill (06 May 2016)

Already booked for next year really enjoyed our break
Trevor from Hemel Hempstead (02 May 2016)

My holiday was very relaxing and good clean caravans we had a very nice time thank you....
Carol from Edinburgh (25 April 2016)

Have stayed here several times before and highly recommend
Pauline from Germany (16 April 2016)

After reading reviews of previous customers, I noted that some had issues with access due to mobility restrictions. I have arthritis is both knees, hips and ankles making walking any distance difficult. my shoes is restricted depending on feet swelling, making the majority of time spent in open toed sandals. reading that many caravans had access only over grass areas I was concerned so telephoned the call centre in january for my visit in march. I was assured that although the caravan I was booking did not have an allocated parking space, there were several parking areas near, making access easy. I expressed my concern over the reviews I had read and was also assured that as I was one of the first bookings received at the very start of the season I would have the pick of the caravans once allocation was undertaken. being very aware of the possibility of bad weather in march, and having experience in caravan stays, I was adamant that a caravan with heating in all rooms was important. hearing this I proceeded with the booking. . on reaching the park, which, although signposted could be easily missed if in a queue of traffic, I was told that the caravan I had been allocated was not on the outskirts of the main area and that walking over the grass was necessary. the attitude of the reception staff was abrupt, non-apologetic and surprising to say the least. bearing in mind the distance I had travelled (over 4.5 hours and nearly 300 miles), the distress I was experiencing, both physical and mentally tired, I found this to be very unhelpful. although they did offer to help my husband unload the car, this fell very short of customer service as I felt I had been let down not only by the staff of the customer centre, but also the holiday park staff. I asked if there were any other caravans available after explaining my distress to be answered with "we are fully booked and so no". if I had been given the information that many of the caravans on the park were now privately owned and those available for rental were very limited, I would have booked a different holiday park. the caravan itself had one row of paving stones outside the van itself, but we had to walk on the grass to get to the car. it rained very heavily on the 1st evening of our stay and all through the night. Walking to the car, with 2 sticks the following morning, through what can only be described as sodden turf was very, very difficult, painful and very messy. some of the caravans also had paving stones outside there main door, the majority were cracked with some raised and could be a health and safety issue. there were also some slabs that were lifting going onto the main parking area with a similar health and safety issue. all in all, the first impressions of this park need improving before seeing any increase in feedback.
Siobain from Bideford, North Devon (14 March 2016)

Great time had by family, only downside, due to wet weather, the area surrounding the caravan was very wet and muddy, wellies had to be worn from caravan to roadside, where they was swapped with shoes and left in car. Would be great if more pathways could be laid to caravans. Would go back.
Kerry (02 November 2015)

When we booked the holiday we rang the site to enquire about parking near the caravan as my wife has a problem with her breathing and walking and were promised we would be as close to the van as possible. when we arrived the van was the fourth row from the parking space which was too far for my wife to walk without getting breathless. I explained this to receptionist (the manager was also present) who said she couldn't find any record of our telephone call and they were fully booked but it was possible for us to more closer to the car park either friday (9th) or monday (12th) and they would phone to let us know. we heard nothing from them but we are certain that there were empty caravans available near to the car parks.
Barry from Birmingham (19 October 2015)

Awful place to find even when you know where it is. No sign coming from herne bay . . and being on a bend missed it every time. . narrow lane in dreadful state. . . difficulty parking in small car park. No markings and mud when you need to get keys. . parking near caravan but all mud and grass once out of it, no paths.
Sharon from Luton (12 October 2015)

This was our third stay at seaview. We would like to make special mention of anne on reception, a very warm welcome and took care of us throughout our stay. Also lucy at reception . we were also really impressed by david and hazel who took great pride in the landscaping - it was beautiful and they are so friendly.
Pauline from Hirz-Maulsbach (10 October 2015)

Unfortunately the sites water supply went down for a couple of days while we was there, so as any normal person would I went to reception to inform them as many others did, to which I received a shrug to the shoulders and no apology. When I asked if they'd supply us with fresh drinking water the response was " you are joking right?". just seems to me like they couldn't care less as long as your lining their pockets. Please avoid this site, im sure there is better service for your money elsewhere.
Lee (28 September 2015)

The park is a lovely place to stay, being in between whitstable and herne bay. . the only thing that lets it down is the entertainment. The entertainment team provided "showtime" in the evening on friday night. It was terrible. Out of tune singing, forgetting the words to the songs, shambolic dance routines, all completely unrehersed. many guests left early and went elsewhere. Such a shame as you really couldn't fault the rest of the park features.
Dawn from Brighton (28 September 2015)

Having arrived 10 hours after leaving home , we were not happy that we had to make up the beds
Roger from Mollina Malaga Spain (12 September 2015)

Great place to stay for visiting surrounding areas
Murdoch from Livingston (11 September 2015)

Me and my son had a great holiday here despite the bad weather there was still plenty to do. The facilities include crazy golf, arcades, play areas, swimming pool and kids club. We took the bus into whitstable which was easy to do and convinient. . the food at the park was great if a little expensive. The caravan was clean and spacious and comfortable and the staff were professional and helpful. The guy who works in the arcade seems to be in there 24/7 and was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help my son. He deserves a pay rise!!
Emma from Rainham (04 September 2015)

Bit sad we could not have the caravan we booked, but made best of it. Caravan we had was clean and comfortable. Ample parking and lovely location. Only grumble was not the parks fault people playing games outside our caravan at midnight making a lot of noise.
Wendy from Southend On Sea (17 August 2015)

The caravan was excellent, everywhere was nice and clean, however the club house was so busy it was very difficult to find a table for a family. To play bingo was also difficult as it was so noisy, I know not everyone plays bingo, I don't myself, but groups of people who are obviously regulars, have no respect for other peoples enjoyment.
Nicola from Wells-Next-The-Sea (15 August 2015)

Rented gold plus 2 caravan. new caravan but no drawers to put stuff in only a 3 inch shelf above the bed. did query it with staff but they told me I was the only person who complained about this. no storage in bathroom only a 2 inch shelf and had to store the toiletries in a bag on the floor. not happy with it at all.
Cecelia from Dublin (25 July 2015)

Third time there. Will be back. . love location.
Beverley from Hartlepool (25 July 2015)

We found it alittle unusual that we couldnt check-in at the main well appointed reception building at the main gate. Instead having to go to the club house . we were greated by lovely ladies however them being sat at a regular table in a pub/bar area in the club house gave an unprofessional feel to the start of our holiday.
Catherine from Sheffield (17 July 2015)

Park situated in a good spot for walking, convenient for local bus, well kept, friendly helpful staff.
Anne from Watford (13 July 2015)

Nice beach view, swim mining pool and kids entertainment in the local pub with games
Gurpreet from Northolt (29 June 2015)

My husband suffers from anxiety and depression, for us to go away is a big deal. We want to have a great time, for ourselves and our young daughter. Sometimes, if my husband is not feeling great myself and my daughter will go out on our own. This is when I know how much we will enjoy our holiday. I can honestly say we had one of the best holiday experiences ever at seaview. For a start everything from the pool to the amusements was open and working. The location next to the beach is wonderful. The caravan was clean, well furnished and the site well maintained. The real difference was the staff, we felt welcomed by everyone, everyone was friendly, helpful and informative. It made a real difference because it meant my husband new we were having a good time even when he needed to take a step back. Thank you. We can't wait to return.
Marie from Bexley (26 June 2015)

A nice no frills site, well situated.
Customer 32 (22 June 2015)

We had a super holiday at seaview, it is especially good if you take your family dog as the beach is right next to the site and it's doggy friendly! the staff are very helpful and the site is kept very clean and tidy, I don't know if as the season progresses the entertainment changes as we were there the first week of june and apart from the three members of the entertainment team the only outside entertainment was a group on saturday evening. But this didn't put us off and we will return to seaview.
Ruth from Oxon (08 June 2015)

We did enjoy the holiday in the caravan ,did not like the flooring as we were continually cleaning it and it felt hard under foot and cold ,also we were quite a ride from whistable .the bingo games we thought were to expensive , with 7 games for nine pounds something and over in half an hour , so we did not bother going again ,not good value for money . the table opened out for more room but there is only four chairs ..not enough to seat 10 people ,good job there was only 5 of us . other than this we did enjoy the area with plenty of places to visit .the beds were very clean and nice linen on them .

We arrived at our caravan checked in on time.had a couple of cleaning issues in the bathroom but once reported to reception it was dealt with within 10 minutes.the shop was a little basic but the lady was really helpful and chatty.we only spent 1 night in the clubhouse and it was really quiet as it was in between bank holidays.the locations was perfect,a 5 minute walk to the beach and was so peaceful.you can be as energetic or as lazy as you want..the walkways into here bay or whitstable make a great walk bit if your not in the mood there's a bus stop right outside the park.ideally located for the thanet coast or into london.all in all I would definitely go here again
Annette from Barrow In Furness (15 May 2015)

Cleanest best laid caravan we have ever stayed in. Quite a long way from anywhere else on foot but nice park, friendly staff great for younger kids but older ones (teens) needed to go further afield.

The site is very cramped with caravans virtually on top of one another. Was however clean and well kept. Location is great with fine views over herne bay and north sea.

Fine for what it was. .a caravan in the middle of a holiday park quite a distance to walk into whitstable. . our children enjoyed the disco and bingo along with the playground although a slide/zip wire would have been a bonus!. a good base to tour kent.

The holiday was nice well worth paying out for, the onsite food is expensive £9.50 for a chicago pizza which I can buy the same at a supermarket for £4.00, the 2 issues we had was one there was next to no straight lights so it was dark when walking down the un pathed road to the caravan site. Also I had a 2nd issues on the day of our arrival I had to ask for a 2nd set of bedding as I went with my nan, there response was we only booked for 2 people and why do we need second bedding it took me a while to explain until there eventually got it. There did apologise

The accommodation was basic but for the price I wasn't expecting 5* luxury - very clean although the energy saving lighting was hardly worth putting on a night it was so dim!

Accommodation was terrible why is it if you have a dog you have to have the worst accommodation? I didn't use the facilities or talk to any staff as wheni arrived at 7 pm reception was closed and I picked my key up from the bar and so cannot comment on them the site grounds were very nice though well looked after clean and in a lovely position by the sea when I checked out I told the girl at reception my accommodation had been dirty she was apologetic

Did not use any of your facilities as were were in herne bay visiting a poorly cousin who we spent every day with. we were just sleeping, showering and having breakfast in the van. The gas fire had packed up on the saturday when we arrived back to the van, and we had to spend the night in a very cold atmosphere, a replacement was put in the van sometime on sunday while we were out.

I did raise a concern with the park itself. I booked a none pet carvan specifically as I have asthma and have a severe allergy to dogs. It was evident on arrival that a dog had been in the caravan as there was a smell of dog and hairs on the soft. this caused my asthma to flair up as I had a reaction to the dog hairs. I was disappointed that this had happened. the park did apologise for this happening but I do think some compensation is due, as the caravan I paid for is not the caravan I was given.
Helen from Dunstable (05 September 2014)

Nice position right on the see front but shame about the cleaning and the welcome
Simon from Newhaven (23 August 2014)

Campsite extremely noisy at night, residents had no respect for other campers, pool freezing cold and poor facilities, clubhouse "tired" looking and unappealing, kids riding bikes everywhere, was not located next to other party, not in quiet zone, would never stay here again
Karen from Basingstoke (22 August 2014)

A lovely well run site in a lovely spot. Perfect for young families, but we struggled to entertain a 13 and 12 year old
Keeley from Epsom (11 August 2014)

Had a good week it is in a great position for exploring the beautiful and interesting part of kent it is in. The children enjoyed the pool very much. Also there is a very good bus service so you can leave the car, walk to whitstable or herne bay along the sea wall and bus back.
Janine from Kent (28 July 2014)

The caravan smelt of urine, stale cigarrettes and damp. There was a squashed dead fly in 2 of the net curtains when we arrived. I purchsed air freshners, but this still did not help.
Sam from Chessington (25 July 2014)

Good park, very close to the pebbly beach and a short walk into whitstable. play areas could have been a bit bigger and a bit oo keen to close the outdoor swimming pool (in the rain - it's water, we were planning on getting wey anyway!).
Robert (21 July 2014)

Beautiful location right by sea wall so many an hour spent by little boy playing on the shingle beach. Reasonably priced club bar but very lance entertainment. The gold plus caravan was very large and spacious but lacked any style so felt a bit dated in some ways but was clean and comfortable and very well maintained. A fantastic location nice walks and a family friendly pub a few mins walk away make this a great location - we'd return but a kiddies disco would've made it for my 2.5 year old instead of poor offerings by some very harmless "entertainment team" but certainly that didn't spoil the break too much!
Rachel from Epsom (30 June 2014)

Could have done with wall or table lights other wise lovely caravan.
Jane from London (27 June 2014)

Park was lovely and well situated between herne bay and whitstable. Caravan vey disappointing - seemed old, worn out and shabby.
Jane (13 June 2014)

A lovely part of northeast kent. Ideal for walkers or cyclists, with great access to the wonderful saxon shore path. A quiet site (we went at low season) and is very much the site I visited more than 50 years ago as a child. I loved it then and it still brings back memories, although it has obviously changed from a wilderness and enlarged over the years.
Victor from Chertsey (21 September 2013)

Was lovely and peaceful direct access to the beach. Very nice and reasonably clean.
Kelly from London (02 September 2013)

Swimming pool for children
Margaret from London (30 August 2013)

Good location for seeing the area, lots of fun for kids, enough facilities. Prize bingo kids club and bingo were fun
Sarah from Sheffield (30 August 2013)

Beautiful area & lots to keep the children occupied. Bar staff were very friendly. Nice pool although it did get very busy.
Natasha from London (23 August 2013)

Great place for children and a family holiday
Margaret from Sheffield (09 August 2013)

Lovely family and child pools, very clean and well organised. Cars parked away from caravans so very safe for children to play. Very good play facilities for children. Well positioned on the north coast of kent for facilities and attractions. Proximity to the sea means you don't even have to leave this site. Our gas ran out and was replaced before my husband has time to walk back from reception. We call that service.
Andrew from Sutton Surrey (09 August 2013)

Great location between whitstable and herne bay
Ruth from Goggin (03 August 2013)

Excellent location and facilities. Outdoor pool a real bonus and there was a great play area for the kids. Park was nice and quiet at night.
Rhona from Manchester (03 August 2013)

Kate from Essex (02 August 2013)

Close to hearne bay and whitstable, close to take children to outside entertainment such as animal parks .not far from london, and easy to get too.we had a lovely caravan couldn't fault it at all. It's right on the seawall, and a lovely walk to nearby hearn bay.park was very clean and had a very enjoyable holiday, the sun shone which made it even better.
Sandra from Stanford -Le- Hope (29 July 2013)

Easy access to beach, great facilities for the kids - no chance for them to get bored!

Lorraine (06 April 2013)

This holiday was the best we have experienced for sometime, it was very relaxing, we had a huge bush plant in front of our caravan window which was beautiful, it gave us privacy as well as a continuous feeling of relaxation, we all commented on that. My 10 year old grandson loved the go-carts, the swimming, climbing frames and the arcade, he kept winning things, so we couldn't keep him away!. we all loved the food at very reasonable prices.the bar atmosphere was something new to me, it was all part of the spacious restaurant, so the children were always in sight.plenty of freedom for the children, it's all contained. Lots of singing and games competitions. Plenty of outside space, so we could chose where to sit, front or back. The sea walks were very refreshing and a few minutes walk. We loved the huge trees decorating each walk way, a very pretty site. We hope to return next year. Well done seaview!.
Ulric from Ramsgate Kent (24 August 2012)

Location was nice near sea, close to local shop
Denis from Thatcham (17 August 2012)

Seaside but quiet
Geert from Doetinchem Netherlands (30 June 2012)

A fantastic location. Best value for money holiday ever. Great accomodation. A good bus service to various locations when we didn't want to drive.
Bryn from Sheffield (28 May 2012)

Good walks to nearby towns
David from Batley (30 March 2012)

Lovely friendly site, great location and facilities.
Mrs W from Exeter (28 May 2011)

The site was very good, very friendly staff especially the entertainment staff who would always come and have a chat in the evening when we were in the bar. When we had a problem when the gas run out it was fixed in minutes of us reporting it. The site was in a very good position and we had a very enjoyable holiday.
Mr H from Chesham (09 April 2011)

A fun family friendly holiday with excellent entertainment staff who are brilliant with the children.
Mrs T from West Byfleet (09 April 2011)

Good value and excellent location.
Mr B from Chelmsford (22 October 2010)

I would like to recomend seaview holiday park to everyone its abolutely brilliant. Brilliant for kids and adults the entertainment team were fantastic.
Mrs K from Gravesend (31 July 2010)

I visited my daughter who lives in Kent so rather than stay in an expensive hotel we chose to stay here, best desision I made we had a brilliant time, I would recommend this park to anyone, and I would definately go back, love every minute of our stay.
Mrs R from Newcastle Upon Tyne (24 July 2010)

My husband and I were very impressed with our caravan, it was very clean and the staff on the camp were more than helpful. We went just before the main season had started so the camp was lovely and quite, but there was still things going on in the clubhouse at night if we wanted to join in. Overall it was a lovely holiday and we will return to this site for another holiday or short break in the future.
Mrs. M from Loughton (28 June 2010)

I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a conveniently located base for their holiday. Facilities good, lovely caravan, right next to the beach. It was nice to relax in the caravan after a busy day out.
Mrs Q from Weybridge (07 June 2010)

Lovely site, right next to the sea and we enjoyed the walks along the seafront to Whitstable and Herne Bay. The staff were very helpful. We had a lovely holiday and would certainly go back there.
Mrs C from Coventry (05 June 2010)
